Hollywood's Saddle Ranch Chop House was a disappointment. The service was the only thing that was good. The jalapeno mac and cheese was watery and the pasta wasn't done. The ribs were mediocre, the food wasn't that hot. The restaurant was cold. We were hoping for the same as Valencia's Chop House, which has always been great.

They had more than 1 veganizable option and they were both delicious.

Amazing place. We live in NH but whenever we come to LA this is our stopping place. Great food, great crew, great atmosphere, all around a place to experience. I wish there was a bar like this in NH.

Visited here when staying in West Hollywood for a few days. We loved the food and the staff were so helpful even at busy times. The manager Aimee was great and made our stay so much fun, we were celebrating our anniversary and she made a fuss of us, which we really appreciated.

The food here is always good. Understaffed a bit for Sunday brunches. Sitting outside is always the right choice. And they even comped us a free smores tray to cook up! Great atmosphere and vibe as well.

I had a pretty bad experience. To start my menus was missing pages and my server didn't even grab me a new one after he noticed. Our burgers tasted horrible like charcoal and my order was wrong. Overall I don't think I'll be visiting this place again.

Waiters, waitress, food, atmosphere just wonderful. Breakfast menu available at any time, my lil one loves pancakes. The crew treated my kids with desserts and had a great time making Smores. They loved it.

Infested with drunks and bros... and cotton candy. Not fun if you're sober.

Omg! I will be going back for sure! Idk what seasoning and herbs they use on their mixed veggies... But wow! I went for my brother's girlfriends bday dinner and half her party hadn't shown up so we had to wait at the bar. After we had a drink and were still waiting I spoke to the hostess ( who by the way was extremely busy) about seating us at a big enough table just incase the other guest arrived. She had absolutely no problem doing so! She also reseated us when they finally showed! S/O to the staff for making our night awesome

I personally think that atmosphere is not really my speed: super busy, crowded, touristy, rock music, an ill placed and used pool table... But the food and drinks were on point: Burger, fries, Hennessy with lemon juice. Credit where credit is due!

Happy Hour Appetizer deal is the BEST! HUGE platters of nachos. Giant spinach dip breadbowl. But service was SLOOOOOW. Every drink our table tried to order came out at off times with lengthy waits. Our food server was fun. Loved her, but her replacement was not a warm dude. As a previous restaurant owner, I would NEVER hire that guy. The breakdown is blamed on the bar. We got there early. It was a ghost town and waiting for drinks? Beer? Does every drink need a new tap? It was like that from the minute we sat down throughout the food servers shift change.
Great location, friendly staff (except the relief), outstanding food with GREAT happy hour prices and GIANT platters of food...I recommend watching fancy cars out on the sidewalk under the heat lamps. Fun!

We were in a bit of a rush, after being seated we waited 30 minutes before leaving. Received zero service. No water. No drinks. Nothing was offered.

If you're new to LA and looking to get rowdy, you will probably end up here. Mechanical bull, scantily clad women, lots of booze. You'll get what you expect.

Delicious food, great happy hours. I believe they do all you can eat ribs on Tuesdays. A little touristy, but it's my favorite place to take family when they visit from out of town as a fun treat.

The ambience is the best part of this place. You get to see a lot of interesting people. The sweet potato fries are my favorite side, I add truffles. I love them.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! We came here on our honeymoon and it was our first time in LA. The staff were friendly and polite, and were very attentive and quick. We were given a free ride on the bucking bronco and given a free shot before we left for being on our honeymoon - a lovely touch! The food is fantastic - very reasonably priced and the portions are huge. We were initially put off by the prices of the drinks, but then they arrived in what was essentially a clear bucket and we felt that the price was actually very good for THAT MUCH alcohol!! Cannot recommend the Saddle Ranch enough if you are in the area - and if you're not, make the trip, you won't be disappointed!

I made a reservation for 18 people, we were celebrating my daughter's birthday. Family and friends coming in from out of town and wanted them to have a fun Hollywood experience ( ages ranging from 2-75). Our reservation was for 6:30 p.m. 15 people arrived at approximately 6:15 p.m. we were told our party wouldn't be seated until all 18 people arrived. 30 minutes later we were escorted to the back of the restaurant where someone has a "great idea" to put a couple of pieces of plywood over the pool table cover it with a polyester cloth and put cheap plastic chairs around it and call it a table. That wasn't the worst part, the worst part is that everyone's elbows were at the same level as their shoulders, the two toddlers at the table had to sit on their parents laps and my 75 year old aunt would not have been able to feed herself as her handicap does not allow her to raise her hands above her chest.
I brought it to the attention of the manager and assistant manager, they were very gracious bought my family around of drinks (only 3 people in my party consumed an alcoholic beverage) and if you appetizers. After a little convincing on my part and compromise, I convinced management to split up my party so that everyone would be able to eat without looking like they were shoveling food in their mouths. Management split us up into four tables, with four separate bills and three different waiters. The waiters were the Saddle Ranch's saving grace, I tip them off handsomely and I believe they deserve a raise!!! Paul & Janelle (and I am so sorry I can't remember the name of the other gentleman) were so incredibly helpful, quick and kind, I thank you from the bottom of my heart and wish you success and all you do, you made a stressful situation so much easier to deal with!!!
Thank you to management for the goodies you comped us with and thank you for accepting my compromise.
If I may make a suggestion, if you plan on using the plywood table for larger parties you might want to let customers know before booking large parties, additionally, it would help if you placed taller chairs around the makeshift table.
Advice to customers planning a big party at the Saddle Ranch
1. After many large parties they are hosting before you confirm your reservation.
2. Ask where your party will be seated or request to be seated around the mechanical bull.
3. Write down the names of everyone you speak with and confirm all of your request with a manager.

P.s. The food was good and the portions were large. The desserts are all excellent!

The staff was very friendly and attentive. They serve great portion sizes, have fresh salads, cold iced tea that hits the spot, and an occasional mechanical bull riding for your DINNERTAINMENT. What's not to love about this place? I'm from Texas and this place ain't half bad. Give it a shot for yourself. I think you'll thank me with a like.

A delicious meat and perfect customer service. Ribeye and filet mignon, a 10. They have also had the detail of giving us a very good dessert. Perfect California farewell meal on the way to the airport. Congratulations.

Fun place to hang, often meet tourists, prices can be heavy for the beer, and you sometimes get lucky and see someone with too much drink decide to try the mechanical bull.

Unfortunately we had eaten too much breakfast to sample the food menu but it looked great. Really wanted to try the tempting desserts but had to make do with the mimosas! It's a hard life!

That was a cool restaurant. The food and the huge cocktails were good. My friend had complained because the vegetables and fries were cold. Then there was served hot and as compensation a marshmallow plate with cookies and chocolate to grill outside. We were still riding the bull (30 sec. ) and were then satisfied.

Awful service from the lady waitress who never put in our order after an hour and the valet guys took stuff from my car. They cannot be trusted! And poor service at restaurant.

The service was ok, generally friendly. The steak was fantastic. Unfortunately they failed to return my credit card and on calling the next day they couldn't find it. Disappointing.

I saw people fly off of the mechanical bull as I was eating a New York strip. If that's not a good time, I don't know what is.
