Terrible

In total chaos! They force you to check in your carry-on baggage by pulling on the covid.

No international airport, a little normal structure, but efficient for what you need.

Despite being an international airport, it is very small but well managed. It is very controlled. It gave me a sense of tranquility that puts the traveler at ease. I go there 2 or 3 times a year in different periods and I have noticed a great desire to start normal.

The airport of Lamezia terme is located in a strategic point the largest planes that exist in the world could land but it is not exploited as it should be more airline and participating in the races would be an advantage for everyone

Disastrous staff! Disrespectful, slow, reckless, incompetent

Small airport but unfortunately managed a little badly, especially in this delicate period (I don't know how other reviews can praise it for this). Despite the size they could make everything more orderly and efficient, this is not the case. Hygiene measures and rules are almost non-existent, from the really indecent bathrooms (cleaned perhaps once a day, considering the state even at 5.00 am), to the absolutely ignored and uncontrolled social distancing, to the bar where the various foods (from muffins to croissants) must be taken directly by the customer with the hands without the aid of gloves or pliers (quite unacceptable). The calls for flights are really confusing, considering also that the flight is said only once and then it is referred to in an implied manner for all the following announcements, being absolutely not helpful, indeed, quite the opposite. The staff is not really the most qualified, but let's say that it fulfills its duty.
Considering the period 2 stars are also a tad too much.

Aeroporto troppo piccolo per il volume di persone in transito. Sale di attesa assolutamente insufficienti per i passeggeri un attesa di imbarco.
Credo che anche dal punto di vista della sicurezza lasci a desiderare: uscite di sicurezza troppo poche.
Erbacce e qualche immondizia sulle vie verso l'imbarco.

Everything is closed and if a companion waiting for a passenger has to go to the bathroom, he cannot because the health services are inside the airport. Really a disservice.

Today I accompanied my mom on the port plane and, while waiting for the special assistance officer to arrive, I waited with her in front of the entrance to the box where Covid checks are carried out. One of the controls was blissfully smoking inside the box. What should I add? That in addition to the sultry heat, not being able to breathe freely due to the mask, we also had to undergo secondhand smoke? Is it not forbidden to smoke in the entire airport area? Should the security officers be the first to enforce the rules and instead are they the first to break them? Of course I asked the clerk to put out his cigarette, but just as naturally I expect that, whoever has to take action to check that this no longer happens.

Small airport which must function well outside the summer periods. But in high season it is undersized. Boarding lounges are small especially during this covid period (see photo). The infrastructure is also undersized, for example the toilets which are clean but dated. An investment would be welcome. Security is of a good level for this type of airport.

Managed badly in this period covid, they create gatherings outside the airport waiting for the temperature, which inside. The staff that controls the entrance and detects the temperature (it is obviously not their fault the organization of the entrance) but is very rude and obviously unprepared for this organization. Absolutely bad. Unfortunately I cannot give 0 stars. But really bad.

Nice Calabrian airport. Well served by buses, shuttles and trains to other nearby locations.

Bad airport, dirt everywhere, poor and inadequate security services, crowds at the entrance contrary to the prevention and control anticovid. Disorganized and rude land hostesses Sacal. Bad entrance management. We arrived three hours earlier than the flight time, quite normal timing in covid time (also considering we would have liked to grab some dinner before departure) and they forced us to wait on the benches outside the front door for TWO hours! !! So then we had to run ... What's more, with incredible arrogance and rudeness. Thrilled ...

Long lines at the entrance for temperature control, lack of seating in the waiting area at the Gate, several closed shops and rundown outdoor areas. Definitely an airport to rethink.
