Love this place. They help provide option for my special needs son to be able to do Swlimming on Saturdays. Thanks Sabes!
As a blond Christian, I've always felt very comfortable working out here. The facilities are good, everyone is friendly, but my problem is with the scheduling of the classes. There is very little regularity to the scheduling of the same class. So I found one that I liked, but the only time I could attend (since I have to be at work three days a week) was mid-morning on Thursdays. One class a week is not enough. The schedules fit retired people best. I'm 65 and not in the best of shape, but not the worst either. It was hard to find classes that were challenging enough but not overly challenging. They say they're going to be making some changes in the class offerings in the coming months. I hope they'll take these comments into account. I like the massage services, but they too are on a very irregular schedule.
Very friendly, need a local to get you in. Small but well stocked with essential equipment, indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi, lockers and showers--all you need.
Minneapolis heart of the community. Joined with St Paul.
Nice place where my daughter takes adaptive swimming lessons for kids with special needs
Friendly! Great place for exercise, all sorts of classes and more.
I worked at the camp for a week. Really beautiful center. So many things for people to do. Indoor and outdoor. Safe and well maintained.
The theater itself is not the most modern or decorated, but productions are usually pretty good. Recently saw Tuesday with Morrie and it was excellent.
An amazing place everyone is so friendly there and their hospitality is phenomenal
The gym here is great. Everything you need. I'm Scandinavian and I am welcome here. Plus they have a sauna that works really well. So that's a big win.
Great welcoming space for everyone.
Really good gym facilities with lots of amazing classes.
Good facilities, professional design and good staff.
If you wanted to get better at basketball do not come here. It seems like the gyms are never open. The pickup games are boring too many old people.
Beautiful outdoor swimming pool with a water slide. Fun baby pool with water shower. Family friendly place.
Excellent pilates (Angela's) yoga and zumba. Devoted senior teacher (Mary) Poor administrative problem resolution. Children and even newborns occasionally come to class even though day care always available. No BALLET barre like
YWCA. JCC will always struggle with membership. No week free trial to check if club is right for you. All other clubs give free trial.
Quality gym membership, friendly and unintimidating environment.
Great staff, lots of classes, all the equipment you'd find at a big gym without the impersonal feel of some bigger places.
So vibrant! Watched my son in bball, now my grandkids. Great seeing everyone enjoying themselves. Kids and parents whooping it up.
Every Sunday for spring, they hosted flag football. It was awesome to watch the 5/6 years olds learning to be a team.
Huge variety of seafood.
Excellent experience
What on earth does the 1star rating have anything to do with the St Louis Park Jewish Center? Im sorry but that should be removed... Im a neighborhood leader in St Louis Park, and I had heard that there was a workout facility at this center that was open to all, Jewish or non-Jewish- so I wanted to check this place out- I am also a Christian, so I kind of felt like an intruder :P but they were SO nice! (not that I expected they wouldnt be) I was told that the majority of those who attend this gym are Jewish, but anyone was still welcome. The gym had everything that the chain gyms had, and they even had a mens lounge with coffee, free wifi, flat screen TV, etc... I was very impressed! ... I a, debating switching out of lifetime fitness and over to this gym, although I still feel like I would be stepping on peoples toes by not being Jewish.. Who knows... None-the-less, I was impressed with the place. If only I could read Hebrew I might be able to understand more of the signage around the place :P
A pleasant place to visit and take part in activities.
Excellent staff working to create a future generation of open minded and well educated children
So very, very nice, thank you so much i even got 2 have a nice chat with Manny Khone, one of the greatest softball player i have ever seen, i was his bat boy 4 many years, but it was his character that was most pleasing.
Horrible place to go. Mean, rude, judgemental people. Very unfriendly. Won't be going back.
Friendly, well equipped workout facility. Willingness of others to help.
This center hosts many educational and interesting venues. I have enjoyed them all.
Was here for a community theater performance. Nice space.
I like the silver sneakers class they have. All the people there seem so friendly.
Everything you need for a GREAT workout without all the add-ons like a hair salon or sports shop that make the bigger gyms so expensive.
Very welcoming place with welcoming people. I've only gone to the summer camp they run and that is what I'm rating 5 stars, I assume the rest of the JCC just as great
Nice gym. Security is good. Must check in. Good lighting
Great environment, very welcoming community. Love their Jewish humor fest the have every January! Very lgbtqia inclusive!
Went there to watch a play and it was a great experience. Everyone was friendly and they had the chairs right on the stage around the main area. We will be attending events there in the future. Thanks for a great experience.
Many different rooms. There is a gym, a swimming pool for kids and adults, a playroom for children, a basketball and table tennis hall. There is just a hall where you can sit and work on your computer.
Warm greetings along with an id check welcome you to this beautifully presented community center. Activities for youth and elders are prominent. I arrived on a free movie morning and learned of a traveling art display also open to the public. Education for all seems to be a keystone of this bright, clean, beautiful campus located at the end of the road. Everyone is invited to tour the facility, please call for an appointment.
Great place to work out. And there
Is babysitting for your kids there while you get to work out.
My son attends soccer practice here and each time we feel welcomed by the check in staff. They always are polite and wear a smile. The security guard (pretty sure that s what he is) jokes around with my son & is extremely sweet to him. And the soccer is by far my sons favorite activity out of his week (and he s a busy kid!) The coach is so good with the kids and they always have a blast. Seriously impressed with this place overall!!
Very awesome place just like the YMCA beautiful backyard park
