The food is very good and the staff is also very accommodating and speaks several languages. However, in our case, the room was absolutely not as described, you can in a totally calcified bathroom and strange hair on the bedding not a four-star standard. But the landscape tears a lot out again

Lovely holiday in incredibly beautiful surroundings. Seems however the facilities were a little old / worn especially the water park. I had difficulty with just a few guests observing the hygiene regulations in the water park's shower area before swimming ..

It is a nice place a bit worn but good though are their activities like shooting, archery shooting m.m. Modern theft, and totally unmotivated instructors who do not help or guide ... I can not recommend it at all. But the place itself is nice enough

Fair standard. We rented the cottage and the beds are good. If you want luxury then you might want to check something else but very nice with large outdoor areas for the kids as well as access to the pool included in the cabin rental price. Is fine for excursions to eg. parks that there are more of. We visited Legoland and Djurs Sommerland with this as a base.

A good base for trips to Aarhus, Viborg and Silkeborg. Updated playgrounds, and activities for kids. Try there mountain biking tracks. Do your shopping in the town of gjern 5 min away from

We were 16 away and played Ryder Cup format.
The course is beautiful - no 2 holes were the same. and the greens were surprisingly fast and actually well maintained.
Many risk / award holes - good for our format.
We lived in 8 man cabins. Good quality - apart from the pillow, here I would prefer my own.
We had to start early Saturday - here we manage to get the kitchen opened 30 min before - totally in order service. And by the way, a good breakfast in my opinion.
A small minus at the course is that there are several areas between the fairways that are unmaintained - here you have hesitated to put blue poles with a black top - so you can get away cheaply from a slip ...
But beautiful and hilly course - definitely worth a visit.

Super good experience, but one but pulls a star down. We came to a cold house, and it took two days before the floor was warm. Not nice with small children playing on the floor.

We came here because they have a climbing wall. Supervised climbing wall.It is then only open per program. The program isn't so public. So in the week before we came there was climbing. In the week after a climb there. This week there is no climbing. And the staff are sorry with a shrug. Add to that it is made so that small children cannot be watched when using the facilities, and that the house We physics was pivoted. We will go to sea west next time and will never come again.

Nice water park which after landal has taken over, has been divided into a children's pool and a deep pool. It is an ok swimming pool that caters for families with children.
On Sundays, there is a concept called splash and pizza. A canon concept for families with children who need an easy dinner and something to get Sunday dinner to go with. The pizzas are sparsely filled but the taste is good like real Italian pizzas. However, this significantly reduces the quality, sometimes you can order pizza for the table and other times it is a buffet. We have also experienced getting high quality chicken nuggets that seemed homemade, for then the time after getting to buy nuggets. The service is slow and indifferent, there is something to work with, because the framework for the good experience is definitely present.

Affordable accommodation, lots of kids can find in the area if you do not want to drive to Legoland.

Old. Worn. Lifeless. Everything from woodwork that is not maintained to venting that is stopped and a sad ghost mood helps to lower the quality of the experience. That said, it is a really good meeting point for both family, friends and school classes or larger groups. There are plenty of opportunities for common activities around the landscape.
It was mega fat in the beginning, but when you had seen it all and tried it all, it was a bit boring, but there were still harsh, badminton, table tennis and the other things
There were problems at check in and a too small kitchen for 10 people.

Super space for families with children! The kids have enjoyed themselves on trampolines, tarzan trail, bouncy cushion, large and great playground equipment and the small water park. We had 8-person house / cottage. Relatively new and contained everything one needs. Could well have been air-conditioned in the house and move that it could generally have been a little better cleaning. Anyway deserve a new visit and recommendation from me!

There was no equal control that the restaurants could provide food to all guests. They simply told that they did not have enough food to serve all the guests they had booked in. So we had to drive a long way to eat every night.
Nice and beautiful park. The adjacent forest is truly beautiful. Despite the fact that the houses are linked, the space between the houses gives you a feeling of freedom. You are not on each other's lips. The cabin was surprisingly spacious and light. Not super luxurious but neat and with a good layout, so you still have a lot of space. This is sometimes different. The outside of the houses looks a bit dated, but inside very neat and with a new bathroom. The kitchen was complete with an oven. However, kitchen items were missing and there did not seem to be much attention for this. However, everything was quickly resolved and supplemented. We have been here with a dog and this went fine. There was plenty to do for the children and although the Danish holidays were already ahead, there was still plenty organized. The pool is in serious need of a makeover, but the children will have a great time as always with a pool. The park shop is not really a supermarket and is also very expensive. It is certainly worthwhile to go to Gjern to the Spar. This is a well-equipped supermarket for your daily shopping at a good price. We have visited others in the area but came back to this Spar anyway. Since it is less than a 5min drive from the park, I wouldn't look any further.
The park staff are friendly and work on the main building will certainly be completed by next fall and it is already starting to look very nice.
All in all, a successful holiday.
all time place for a 5 year old. All the staff were sweet, welcoming and professional.The EXCEPTION: the kitchen. Everything was chaos, the food had to wait for over 1 1/2 hours even if it was pizza. That the casserole was sold out was also only told so late. The poor fine servants just had to complain and accept our loud complaints, Practice. Get it organized properly !!
Medium good, boring with a short time in the water park due to Covid 19 restrictions, less good selection in the kiosk / park shop, lacks fresh meat and vegetables / fruit. Lacks activities for the slightly older / young ..

Fantastic resort out in the woods. Really quiet and clean, just like the rest of Denmark actually, here for work but afterwards it feels like a holiday.
Very nice and friendly people, we've been made very welcome indeed. Quiet and safe roads too.

A nice place for families with children. But in the restaurant it went way too late with the food. We waited 1 hour for the food and at the water park we also ordered 1 pizza it also took 1 hour before we got. The steak I bought was raw to not medium as I ordered

There are really many activities on offer for children. Quiet due to optimal decor. Water park might need more baby baths and a few inserts for the little ones so mom can shower without baby on her arm. The indoor playground is small and worn.
The staff are friendly and welcoming but have surprisingly little knowledge of the resort.
Very good place to go on holiday, but recommend to come when it is outdoor weather as they have a lot of exciting outdoor activities. We were there when it was cold, and the indoor activities are not that great.
