Nice family place. Excellent water park with nice heated pools, however, it seems somewhat worn and could penetrate a little paint. There are many really good playgrounds for both the young and the big children. In addition, there is a krea-room where you can make different things with slightly older children. The restaurant is good as a family restaurant, but best for slightly older children than ours in 15 months, as there is a children's buffet that is not suitable for very young children

Not what I would call a tropical water park, and a strange rule that you only have to stay in the spa while it bubbles.

Worn water park and a website that is not updated. We came as one-day guests one Sunday because we had read about their splash and pizza. They obviously no longer have this even though it is on their website. We chose More

The park is beautiful. The bungalows are very nice and inside they are spacious and nicely decorated. The facilities are somewhat old-fashioned. The mini golf is very standard, it has no theme. The pool is nice but also outdated. The slide is open to a limited extent. The restaurant was renovated. The park shop is very basic. Sandwiches run out quickly. It is best to order this in advance at the reception. A pity that there is no English translation on the bread form. This way it is a bit of a gamble what you order. Legoland is a 1-hour drive away and discounted tickets can be purchased at the reception. If you want this, please call the park in advance. Legoland supplies this itself and id was not yet done during the May holiday. The staff is very friendly and makes sure everything is sorted out quickly. Please note that there is not a high chair and cot in the bungalow as standard. Reserve this or ask for it at the reception, you will immediately receive it. You pay for electricity afterwards.

Nice park with a nice environment. A pity about all the rain and that you will receive an energy bill later. Is not included in the price (while it is already quite high)

Landal Lake Highland is incredibly kid friendly with lots of activities every day for young and old alike! The staff is very friendly and helpful and the water park is also perfect, especially if you have smaller children!

Lalandia light, but in a way - better. The hotel and facilities are old but renovated, everything is quite nice. The nature around the hotel is amazing, perfect for hiking, biking / mtb etc. Lots of activities for both children and adults. The fifth star would have been given, had the room itself been properly cleaned before arrival.

The dot is missing in order for it to have 5 stars. It can be clearly seen when some events are arranged in the app and Landal does not know where they are held, or when a bank is made for children then you have to remember the good mood, or when the service in the Brasserie comes by, so just before aware that you want attention, or the like, before asking about the food or anything else. There are just the little things.

Housing also 4 stars if it were not for the poor indoor climate and 2 liters of condensation on the windowsill every morning.

Surroundings can get the 5 stars, though a little hard to use them when it rains, but it's certainly not Landal's fault.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage, the cottage is in good condition and clean and pretty. The outdoor area is great with playground, bouncer and trampolines. But we miss a bit more cozy surroundings just outside the cabin. There is a tired bench and not so nice to sit in the evening. But for the kids, this place is heaven, in addition to outdoor play, they also have an indoor water park (a little worn), and several activity rooms for the children. We are very happy with our stay

Much better than expected. I am not so fond of the holiday parks, but this was an extremely pleasant stay. Need to mention that it was out of peak season and we were almost the only one at the park. That makes the experience (no neighbors, tropical swimming pool for ourselves) of course 10 times as much fun. But beyond that: the cottages (we had 8 people for a family of 4) are privately owned and well maintained, neat and clean. Staff is very friendly, as you will find in the better hotels. They had forgotten the ordered stair gate and after inquiring at the reception it was immediately mounted, with our permission, while we were in the pool. Nicely so. If it is a bit busier, the fun may be less because of the then full playgrounds and a busier swimming pool (it is not that big).

Good location, nice houses, nice and clean, with dishwasher and washing machine, swimming pool as well as golf and large play area.

Really cozy place with nice apartments and lots of activities. Good for families with children

All right place for families with children, we had a 2 + 2 apartment and it was perfectly ok. Not of the latest, but worked fine. It may be worth noting that there is only a double bed and a sofa bed in the living room. There was also no ventilation so it got very hot at night. We got a proper rain shower that caused the gutter to flood and it rained black shit from the roof down to the patio. A purge should have been done here.

The playground outside is nice. The pools were not that big but were well liked by the kids, it was good temperature and not too many people.
It could well have been better informed that there were flashing lights in the slide for children with epilepsy.

Otherwise, it was the location that made us choose this place as it is mostly a small hour drive to all the major attractions.

All in all, perfectly ok holiday, reasonable compared to lalandia, but you get what you pay for.

Sleep there one night. We were both ill so can't give a fair review.

In the middle of nature. Wonderful cycling here. Nice soccer field in the middle of a park.

The place trains for a refreshment. There are nice cabins, but also facilities that are no longer maintained.

This is the best Landal I have been to; the parc is set up in its natural environment, there is a lot of space. Houses are as one would expect at Landal. Location is great, Silkeborg just 15 mins away. Running, MTB, cycling and exploring the lake area are super options.

The playground is currently closed until Thursday. This was not informed about at check-in Wednesday - in which case we had chosen to use it more Wednesday. We were told this was for security reasons and that they had known it since Thursday. You could therefore expect that a little extra was filled up in the creative workshop, so you could be there when it rained. It has water colors and a small pile of paper.
It should be noted that the water slide is only open when there is a lifeguard. Ie From 15-20 in weekdays (outside holiday trip). It is also not possible to buy food in the water park outside that time. Besides, it's not super hot in there, neither water nor air, so don't expect to spend more than a few hours in there if you have smaller children.
The houses are very cold, so remember warm socks.
The standard is far below what we have experienced in other of Landal's parks

Nice quiet park, neat houses, nice swimming pool. Unfortunately, the reception was slightly less. On arrival at 3.45 pm it turned out that the houses were not ready yet and we had to wait at least another half hour, which eventually became more than 2 hours. Only at 6 pm we received the key to the house.

Great place, great apartments. Quiet and calm. Small selection in the on-site shop but save shop and baker is 5 minutes away by car. Little Norwegians!

Cottage: Beautiful cottages, cosily furnished. Balcony front forgot to clean.
Other: Location houses looks nice, feels like a small village. Enough facilities such as horse riding, swimming (beautiful pool), mini golf and a number of things.

Unfortunately, some flaws and shortcomings, but overall okay

An excellent place that, however, clearly lacks activity. Getting out of serson is not advisable. If you disregard this, you are otherwise close to everything. Nature, Randers, Silkeborg and Aarhus are close at hand.

Nice place with good location in Jutland
The water park is not that big, but with a long slide, play area for the smallest and 25m swimming pool it suits everyone. Code lock on the doors is a plus. Some small annoyances make me not give a full pot, like the house of 5 only had 4 beds plus the couch in the living room.

Really a unique nature area, child friendly with the coolest playgrounds and plenty of opportunities for activities for the whole family. I am a fan and will be clear again

We only visited the water park. We spent the night at a campsite nearby.
It was an ok visit, but compared to the standard, the price was too high. 75kr. pr. person - both children and adults. Ie. NOK 300 for a family of 4.
The place is worn. Especially the dressing needs a proper cleaning. There are large deposits of lime on the walls by the showers. Both on tiles and joints. Shower heads are also filled with lime, which makes the bath less comfortable, as the water then feels like a whip. It is not inviting to come as a guest, and it is a bit annoying, especially when you have given 300kr.

Not much to come by. The "tropical" (??) water park is just a basin and a water trail. The restaurant is open a few days a week (not while we were there). Then there are two evenly under standard pizza bikes. Both did not take any more for the evening when we arrived, so we had to drive into Gjern. The center has probably been good once, but is worn and boring now. A city hotel would have been more interesting for both children and adults.

Lovely holiday center with good and nice homes, as well as various activities for young and old. The water park in particular is a hit. Here during the pandemic, however, they only allow 100 bathers at a time, so it only becomes one hour of swimming at a time.

Quite acceptable homes to choose from that are within easy reach of the main building.

Lots of outdoor activities. However, the indoor activities are not impressive. Fine water park, however, is too small, compared to the number of guests who can stay on site.

Nice water park. Lots of outdoor playgrounds. Unfortunately a great lack of indoor playground and a more open area around hall activities. And incredibly much lack of info about eg departure, cleaning and opportunities on site.

In the preseason there is nothing to do in the park in the preseason

Great family park to stay in a relax scenery. The park is situated very nice nearby woods, well designed, spacious and has excellent facilities for kids and the whole family. We stayed in an 8-person house which was modern and complete. But not so clean for which we requested an extra cleaning of the residence. Therefore not 5 stars. It would be better if the staff would improve their protocol on this and make a final round before checkout to see how clean/dirty others leave it behind.

Nice family friendly place with several good activities for smaller children. For example, a good playground and a smaller water park that nicely meets the needs of smaller children.

I have only tried the family cabins for 8 people. The cabins are nice, clean and comfortable. Good access for sun outside. Lots of outside playing area for kids. The pool has a much to bright light from sealing,so bring your sunglasses. But hey,totally OK pool for one day.

Nice water park. However, do not understand why the rooms for towels have been removed from the bathroom - where do you need to make your towel when you are in the bath? There might also be a need for an extra shower for children, the common ones are not very comfortable when not so big. Nice cafeteria with good service.

Far too expensive to rent things, one has to pay for almost everything. Even when you have rented two cabins. They did not have more shuttlecocks when we wanted to play badminton, and they did not get more during the time we were there. I think it's a super cozy place and it's mega cool. But prices and customer service are not their biggest star. Customer service is good enough when talking and asking questions, but I did not even experience that they asked one of us if we should use help for something. We had to do this several times when we were a bunch of less gifted young people.
The cabins you lived in were amazing, and really nice to be in. It was a good view from them all if you went out on either the terrace, or the "balcony"
I enjoyed my stay there despite all my criticism

I visited the water park with my son of six. The water park is not very big. Would say it's smaller than most swimming pools. So at first glance I was quite disappointed, but when we first came in, I was quite happy about it. There were not so many people, which meant that there was never more than a minute's waiting time on the slide. In addition, it is super easy as parents to keep an eye on your child.

Beautiful forest nearby. Fun attractions for the kids.

Upgraded water park, with renovated bathing environment, better reception that has been moved. Rental of MTB / bicycles, helmets and running / bicycle cards. The puffer is made later on to the cable car etc. The forest is fantastic, water parks although for both swimmers, children, babies, grow and now also the mini market with jewelry and the like as well as upgraded nice restaurant. New playground towers in good quality wood / steel and decoration and a lot more for children. It is a lovely place to relax or have an active holiday. Shopping close to Silkeborg or Hammel. Otherwise supermarket in Gjern town. Been here about 7x now.

Was there in week 8, where a large part of Denmark has a winter holiday - there were not many activities, only swimming land, badminton - and squash eagle, mini golf and restaurant. There could have been more for the kids.
