This place was amazing at first. All the aquariums had such good eco-systems with plants, sand, shipwrecks etc, all the marine life looked happy. Then we got to the dolphin tank... for starters the tank was pretty much just a big bare concrete swimming pool with a few fake rocks, it didn t look natural at all. Secondly and most importantly the dolphins simply looked un-happy. One dolphin was swimming the same identical loop back and forth over and over again, it was clearly on the brink of insanity. Dolphins are far too smart to be kept in captivity in enclosures like this. It truely soured our day. It would have been a five star review otherwise.

A very wide range of species, seasonally thematic focus (it was jelly fishes when I was there), live interaction with fishes and star fish, full air conditioning.

There is this super big fish tank where you can sit down for the whole day - a very therapeutic experience.

Must visit place in Singapore is the aquarium with different types of fishes. Beautiful place to be among colour full fishes. Don't miss to read the description. You need minimum 3 hours in this place. The aquarium is displayed in various shapes that you will feel u are under the ocean.

If you're making the trip to Sentosa, go for this instead of Universal Studios. A much better and enriching experience - given the diversity of marine life being showcased. Money well spent!

You can experience a lot of marine life right from star fish to jelly fish. One can glimpse at the large aquarium with several species. The hammer head shark and sting rays were the best.

Plenty of exhibits of various ocean and freshwater habitats from around the world. We especially loved the huge Open Ocean tank.

Anyone planning to visit should try to do so outside of local school holidays and public holidays.

We visited on Christmas Eve and the experienced was somewhat marred by badly behaved crowds.

Its educational. But at the same time, you can enjoy being there. There is a cafeteria in the location and you'd feel like you are dining under the sea.
When comparing to all other aquariums I've visited so far, this is the best. You can spend the entire day (especially with children) there. My personal interest was color changing jellyfish.
A good place for small kids cause they have some activities and fun games. Even the detailing about all the fish has been given in a way easy to understand (without too much scientific terms) so even children could understand.

The best marine life experience I've ever had in my life ! The first tank had an amazing setting of a shipwreck with numerous species of fishes. Moving on one could see the varieties of sharks like Hammerhead, Tiger, Great White, etc. Then comes eel, varieties of colorful jellyfish, octopus, puffer fish, parrot fish , angel fish and many others. In the middle of all was the biggest tank which would be the size of an IMAX screen from the front holding the beautiful Mantis Ray apart from other exotic species. This is something you can't miss if you've grown up watching Discovery channel.

I have seen a lot of aquariums in my life, but the SEA is by far one of the most fun and impressive I've seen. The multiple tunnels, the shark's pool, the massive deep sea aquarium, and multiple kid's oriented observation points made the ride a true wonder. Besides, it is was bigger than it originally felt. A real treat.

"One of the best aquariums in the world!" - can't say it better! The Curators and organizers of the aquarium have done a stellar job in setting it up. An absolute pleasure to be here.

The approach from the monorail station was fairly easy with signages on all sides. The ticket counter was staffed with such gentle and polite people and getting in was a breeze.

All exhibits were things you see with awe on Discovery and was a visit of a lifetime.!! A must visit if you are a tourist coming to Singapore on a short trip.
