Visitors to Singapore in the 90s will remember the underwater world ocenarium. This is an aquarium, albeit a very large one. While activities such as diving with sharks are not there it is still a great place to visit given the wide range of sea animals one gets to see here. The walk through aquarium is still there as also the giant wall of fish which can be viewed from an amphitheater like gallery. Given Singapore weather good place to visit late morning and in the afternoon as it is fully airconditioned.

Very nice place to see marine fauna. It has several moments where they give you an explanation about sharks and another where they feed the stingrays and different fish.

It is worth going. The visit lasts 3 hours and then another activity can be done by Sentosa.

We read many positive and negative comments and I think it was worth going.
The place shows the marine wealth and encourages the care of endangered species.

We'll have to say that the large tank really is very very large as of 2019 it is meant to be the largest in the world !!... Perspex is 17cm thick !!! They say... Even so when you see the size of the display you wonder how man can build such things.

Whole place is really very very good. Went in oct 2019 on a Tuesday.. and it was busy .. so a good time to good.

Top marks a must go to place.

In general an interesting place, especially the shark tank. Unfortunately the aquarium was very crowded with people tapping on the glass and taking photos with flash everywhere. Also it's a no-go to inform about pollution, sealife-destruction and overfishing on the one side and on the other side selling plastic wrapped tuna sandwiches. Having dolphins in a small bassin should be forbidden, too. We expected more from well developed city like Singapore.

Although there are no whales like Okinawa, or star animals such as beluga whales in Pingtung, the aquarium is very large and the moving line is well planned! It is recommended to stay for 2 hours to visit~

I would recommend going to the S.E.A. Aquarium right when it opens. After the opening hours, the place is basically packed! Humans from everywhere are swimming in. I think it is equally amusing for the fishes looking into our tank as we are all struggling to get a good view. Nonetheless, it is still one of the most fantastic aquarium I have been to. My children love the jelly fish tank and the touch pool.

This is one of the biggest aquarium I have ever visited, there is a vast majority of species more than 800+ and the ecosystem for the fishes are like their natural habitats. The people there seemed to love it. But only one problem, maybe due to its the holidays and nearly Christmas, there is a lot of people there that day. We didn t get a close up look of some tanks but over all great place to visit with the kids.

Great place with many many intresting species in finely crafted habitats. Avoid the place on weekends if you can't stand the following

1) Queueing for 1.5 Hrs before entry
2) Screaming children or strollers charging around
3) Other visitors not respecting safe distancing

Otherwise, staff were friendly, it's great aquarium and way to spend 2 hours before dinner.

Great setup, do check the feeding times before you go. This is so you can get to see, and also learn more about the fish. Todays trip was weird, watched 2 feeding sessions which were supposed to be 15 mins but ended up being 5 mins each. The presenter kept saying this is my 15 mins but it was max 7 mins. Perhaps she spoke too fast.

The staff were not helpful to my wife who had to nurse. While she asked if she could go to the nursing room and what she needed to comeback she got stamped and no other instruction. Having finished nursing and going back the staffer was demanding her give a ticket even if that staff was present when another one let her go to the nursing room. I hope the management clarify the protocols and goals to the staff. It would be cheaper for common sense than to have to engineer process Protocols for people leaving for reasonable things who need to get back. I hope the behavior is corrected.

Not a venue that was worth the long lines. Might have been the biggest at one time, bit does not live up to it nowadays.

My family got sick of the jostle and the crowd after an hour and left promptly. Least memorable of all the activities in Sentosa.

A DO NOT MISS attraction of singapore!

A DO NOT MISS attraction of singapore!
It displays a large number different species of fishes. This place takes about 1 hour to complete a tour but if you are fond of fishes then there is no time limit

I personally recommend to spare atleast 2 hours and go around and explore various species of fishes and sea animals around us

The aquarium features more fish that you would care to look at all of them for a minute. The highlight is the big aquarium tank towards the end. Try to time it with their feeding times. Ask the staff of you're not sure. You can also just sit there on the floor and wait. Get some snacks ready. Look out for the 3 big manta rays.

One of my favorite aquariums for it's variety and family friendly approach. The large tune shaped coral reef is great, especially at feeding time, and so is the very large tank that's great for dreaming and a short rest for families. The touch and feel is a must for kids.
