It was worth the money. You get to take a picture when you are almost done with the tour and you have a choice of getting a copy of it in various formats.
Fish look healthy. Can see them really up close and great displays. Not worth going if crowded.
Great place, great fo kids. Not sure if it's the best I ever seen as Lisbon and Osaka are quite impressive but its one of best ones definitley. Maybe a bit pricey and missing a whale shark but still deserving 5 stars.
Best aquarium. This is must place to go if you are in Singapore
This place is a must see. Very illuminating, I recommend it 100%.
This was cooler than I thought it had the right to be. A lot of sharks in a lot of tanks.
Good aquarium with activities to keep kids engaged.
It was an amazing experience. You will feel that you are part of the marine life for a moment. The gigantic aquarium was the best!
Fantastic Aquarium with a huge collection of marine life. The displays were also impressive, especially that massive cylindrical tank, where you can watch divers feed the fishes.
Best in class aquarium. The best have been so far. It s almost mesmerising to hang around watching the fishes swim around.
Great time to spend time learning about different animals..
cool place with a large variety of sea creatures and huge fish viewing area
Such a lovely aquarium. It was a lifetime experience. It's really well maintained. Friendly staff take ur own sweet time because it's worth it
For kids its good
For parents nice place to take some rest
Awsome place for bringing my kids to holiday and learn about sea ecosystem. This place is in Sentosa Island. One day will come there again
A great experience in my life. This is the first time I have been in an aquarium - especially the huge one like this. No need to say how beautiful it is. I was overwhelmed by the maverlous marine lives.
Amazing wildlife but you would not be able to see any as it is literally filled to the brim with tourist. No max capacity and its really hinders the viewing experience for guests.
So fun but no halal food =| but I still like it it's cool!
Sorry I am giving 3 stars to this great place. Giving 3 stars just beccause it involves cruelty to the fish. Whatever one may say regarding comfortable housing for the fish, it is still imprisonment and therefore cruelty, whether the fish realise that or not.
Whatever you do, it is no comparison to the life the free fish in the ocean have living in large schools.
Somebody told me that this arrangement gives them protection from predators. Yes. But the choice is for the fish to make.
I wish WRS and entities all over the world would give up keeping animals in captivity for our fun. If anybody wants to see sea-life, you can see Animal Planet. Or people like WRS can arrange for safaris into the sea. It will be no doubt costlier. But keeping the fish in captivity is not the answer.
Having said that, the Aquarium has been done very well. They have achieved a good effect by way of lighting. Somehow brought the underwater effect.
But for the cruelty angle, the place would deserve a five star rating.
The only sore point was the very long queue outside. I think it took us at least an hour to get through the queue and gain entry.
Very fun outing for the family. Took about 1.5 hours to slowly browse through
Wow! As soon as you enter, you are stunned by the variety of fish on display! Different shapes, sizes and colors and from different geographical zones! The effort to put this in one place is mind boggling! The huge central tank is jaw dropping for sheer size and for the various sharks, sting ray and other beautiful fish on display! Loved it!
Giant aquarium in Singapore.
A lot of sharks here, a lot of stingrays, they even have manta rays!!
The main aquarium is big, and a lot of other fish species.
The souvenirs are not bad, price are not overpriced.
The giant main aquarium can be accessed but you need to pay more to enter to watch more closely.
A very well maintained aquarium with some stunning views of marine life. It s also a plus that they are so active in conservation efforts. The whole building is massive and you could easily spend more than 3 hours here if you are taking time to look at every exhibit. The Open Ocean Habitat is breathtaking. No words or picture can describe how massive the viewing panel is. You just have to go see it for yourself!
One of the attraction in Singapore
Well, I saw Dory
Excellent collection of beautiful and unique animals.
Must visit place
The truth is that I liked it very much, it is true that we return to the animalistic issue of enclosed animals and such ... but the water tanks are large, they look well cared for, clean water and in general, everything is quite correct. Honestly, as is the sea of dirt and such ... they are better in places like these ... I do not give the 5 stars pork the dolphins were in a very ugly, immense tank, but very little curved.
The Sea Aquarium is best to visit when going to Singapore because they let you explore aquatic species arranged in accordance to where you can find it (example: pacific ocean waters) they give you knowledge of how these species live from how deadly they are to how friendly they are. You shouldn t miss the tube where you can feel whale sharks above you like airplanes in water. Best to visit!
Interesting displays. inadequate consideration for the elderly and the very young when steering people to go through the maritime museum to get to the aquarium. There are not enough seats to rest, and staff blocked off escalators to force people through the pirate exhibit which is frightening for small children and full of stairs inappropriate for the elderly or those with prams or wheelchairs. Even at the Aquarium's snack bar where there is a massive ocean display there are no seats at all. Getting people through the exhibits swiftly seems more important than meeting customer needs.
Great exhibits and enjoyed the feeding time at the open tank.
Very spacious place. Nice. Not hot. It can take around 2 hours. The place is interesting.
[Covid19] Booked a day pass and visited aquarium, only to see crazy queue (2h wait) at 3pm Saturday. They seriously need to introduce time-slot booking system to manage crowd better. Or at least queue ticket system like restaurant chains - you get a SMS notification when your turn is up. What I see today is hundreds of people queuing up and not adhering to 1m social distance. Why exposing customers at risk if there are readily available technology/system in the market?
When asked one of the staffs why not introducing time slot booking, they said we tried but it didn t make business sense. Overselling ticket surly makes more business sense in the short term, but it comes at a cost of customer safety and poor experience. Very shortsighted way of running business.
The aquarium was well thought out, nicely organised, with a good mix of various sea creatures to keep both adults and kids entertained.
Impressive aquarium, you have to visit it, it is the second largest in the world and I recommend that you arrive early and when you leave go to the universal studio
Nice place to visit. Good for family, but parking is very expensive
Beautiful Aquarium, inside the aquarium I was able to see different types of fishes. Colourful finishes and frogs. Best place to take children.
I have never been here, but this instantly gets my 1 star, to keep dolphins captive is completely and utterly wrong; please do not go here and support this horrible place, or you are supporting animal cruelty
Its wow place for childrens. The view is amazing and mainly u get peace there.
If you love the aquatic creatures, this place is a must to go!
So much species of various fishes that will amaze everyone.I dont know how they maintain this but the work they might be doing, kudos to them!! Opposite to Universal studios.
Great place to bring ur family for vacation.
Get ur body fit before visiting this place, because u will need extra energy to long walk while keeping ur children
Just that the dolphin are hard to be seen and no penguin. Other than that, everything is still fine.
This is so far the best aquarium exhibition I ever visited. The interior design is nicely designed and we can enjoy the view in front of us, on top of us or below under our feet.
Moreover, there are a lot of unique sea creatures such as sea dragon, giant octopus, blue lobsters. It was a mesmerizing visit. Will definitely pay a visit again!
Amazing place...has a lot of fish. .a variety of sharks and jellyfish corals rays and sting rays....etc has many beautiful open ocean exhibits...many types of fish are available. ...from sea dragons to hammerhead sharks....from 4 varieties of jellyfish to many types of corals....it is a must visit in the island of sentosa. ...
Probably the best aquarium in the world. Annoying queuing system we had walk through the maritime museum to get in.
One of the best Sea life centre anywhere in the world. From manatees to stingrays. It c an get a bit busy at times.
