Purchased a house which closed during the covid shutdown in April. Recognize this is an adjustment for all parties, however we had a very poor experience.
The down payment calculations were incorrect and it took many emails and many hrs on our side to rectify the issue. It also took a number of emails/ pushing to get the spelling of my name corrected throughout all documents. Furthermore based on another lawyer friend we were also over charged for a few items.
As a first time home buyer this was a very unfortunate experience but has made us much more aware of the calculations, forms, and process. I do not plan to use this firm again for future transactions.
