My mom used to take us to Russell's when we were kids we love the food then and my grandchildren and I loved it now

My parents have been going there since the 60s. And it continues on with their children and grandchildren!

Absolutely love this place it's been a family tradition all my life

4 star for taste.. missing the 5 star due to the bizarre sides restrictions. You can't double up fries for example. You have to pick 1 side from from each set of two lists.. even if you only would prefer 2 sides from one list. I absolutely do not eat all the options on one side of the lists. Just out of luck for me.. that makes no sense at all.

Lifer... coming since I was a child. If you re looking for Memphis ribs or any of the other fancy restaurant ribs. Russell s isn t your answer! These are chewy, meaty ribs served in a wonderful original one of a kind sauce! All under $20. Per slab! Great bbq pork & beef sandwiches too!

Over priced. Do not offer refills. I do like the sauce which my sister gets and sends to me.

I remember going here after a day at Kiddieland it was a double header. They've been here for many years great barbecue with plenty of other choices big portions a lot of bang for your buck.

I love love love the bbq beef sandwich. I have been coming here since I was a child. My parents have been coming here as teenagers. Great memories and the food is just as delicious as always. Wish they didn't take out the juke box tho.

Food was good but the place is not very handicap accessible. Had to fold up my walker to use bathroom and leave stall door open because bathroom is extremely small and there's no handicap stall.

I celebrated my nomination last night in this great restaurant. I am glad to say that we enjoyed a outstanding evening and the venue was absolutely the reason for the happy event. The stuff helped in a very nice style, the cuisine was great and my buddies were very cheerful. We shall surely come back again for more events. Thank you very much.

It's the sauce! I grew up on this stuff. It's still the same always yummy.

When we lived in the area we went there sevearl times a month. Back in the area for a vist, we stopped in and it was just as fantastic 17 years later! Great Job!!!!

Why does the barbeque sauce taste like pumpkin pie spice? I find it very strange. They also have no variety of sauce, so its pumpkin pie spice or nothing.

This place makes some of the best ribs and they also have some of the best barbecue sauce which I purchased a bottle of because there's sauce it's absolutely delicious and by the way the bottle was only $3 great place for eating and to take family and friends

Absolutely the best ribs and I ve tried them all. Nice place. Very consistent. No wierd changes. My mother went there for prom and I m I m my 60 s and I love the place!

This place has bad pulled pork and pulled chicken. Didn't taste smoked. I can do better in my crock pot. I would also rather have ketchup than their bbq sauce. It's basically clove water. Literally any other restaurant that serves bbq is better.

Been going to Russell's since I was a child. Their barbeque sauce is unique and you'll get a craving for it also.

Great Food selection. I haven been going since I was a child, My favorite is the BBQ beef brisket I alwyas get the meal you get to select 2 side. I get fries always hot and crispy just like I love them and I get their pasta salad which has a unique flavor always very satisfying. The staff is always very friendly, I've never had a negative experience always great food and great time when I visit them. They have an outdoor sitting area which is great to enjoy the weather.

Average food, got the bbq pulled chicken sandwich and it wasn t anything special at all. It was good but wasn t great. Also got the chicken nachos and they were good except for the fake cheese liquid they put on it. A large group of us came here from a wedding on a recommendation that it was an awesome place. Overall the group liked the food we just didn t find it amazing. Maybe our expectations were set to high to begin with when we were told it was an awesome place. When prices are higher then other places the food has to be awesome otherwise it just isn t worth coming back, I can get good tasting food from many places for less money.

The food is consistently good. This is a place our family comes back to over and over.

The food is pretty good, I love that they serve alcohol, and don t miss out their desserts. The food alone is worth the visit, but the ambiance is like no other. I grew up going here with my family, and although some things have been added to their menu not much as changed.

Love going here, its a treat every time. Kids get a free toy.

I had a bacon cheese burger, and it had no flavor. The burger was like 10 dollars didn't even come with a drink just a small side. Never again. The place was cozy. That's why I gave it two stars

They are open for dining in since about two months now.

Stopped there after work.Had the brisket sandwich,fries and coleslaw.Sad to say,for the price,none of it was too outstanding.Brisket was very dry,had to drench it in bbg sauce,small and I mean small container of coleslaw.My buddy had the beef sandwich i guess was passing .Mabe it's my expectations of brisket,but too dry . I tried the brisket at Mariano's ,and it was moist and out of this world. I'll be getting it from there from now on.

This place is not authentic barbeque, it's boiled and baked.

Very good.unfortunatly like most places right now No restroom available to customers. Expected roast beef to be a bit more flavorful. Staff was SUPER FRIENDLY SUPER HELPFUL and accommodating

I liked the nostalgia of the restaurant, you can tell the building hasn't changed much since 80 yrs ago and they have a small bar in the back. I could see this would be a nice place to have a small wedding reception or large birthday party, they have a separate space for it. I wasn't crazy about my food though, I ordered the BBQ pork sandwich, the meat was dry and I didn't like their so-called famous BBQ sauce, it had a taste of nutmeg or cloves, not sure the spice they use, but I'm the type who likes Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ original sauce. But I would come back to try something else they have a large menu with plenty of options.

Great service!!! The food is always fresh, and the employees there are so friendly. The managers there are so attentive to the customers! Especially Harmony and Eric!!! I'll definitely be a frequent visitor

We came in last evening with the family I have been coming here all my life and it s the best bbq I have ever had! my great grandma worked there when she was young it is historic and for generations to come!

Russell's has been a great place to eat for years. I had the BBQ beef brisket and it was delicious. If you are in the neighborhood, you must stop. The food is great and the prices are reasonable. I recommend.
