So far, this company is batting zero. Our son's builder submitted two change orders to the cost of the house build which is reducing the overall cost since we are paying for his site prep out of pocket. Somehow the the change orders have not been processed to date and it's been weeks. The change orders reduce the cost of the house to build. He's being told that at the closing he will need an additional amount for the balance to close on the construction loan. He wants to see a draft of the closing documents. So far, they are not co-operating. This is either incompetence or by-design.
