Very friendly staff that is very knowledgeable and helpful. Their selection is limited would be my only complaint, but they do a good job finding the right shoe for your running style.

Like that they donate shoes to the homeless and if you bring in your old kicks you get a % off your new!

The people who work here are not friendly. Honestly compared to other running stores in town this one is just not up to par.

These guys are amazing. They will watch you walk and then tell you the exact perfect show for you. They don't care how it looks, or what color it is, but neither should you. They will find you the shoes that will never hurt or wear funny!

If you're looking into running or simply becoming more fit, this is the place to go. The price of the shoes can be a little pricey and a turn off, if you're determined to stick with it, then its worth the price. They even have an outside track for you to test the shoes on before purchasing. It's a great local hub for running shoes.

No nonsense help on finding the right shoes for your feet! These people don't ask you if you like the way the shoe looks, its a place for performance footwear.. and the great thing is you don't need to know anything about your stride or the type you need...they just need to watch you walk. Its made a huge difference in my ability to jog and exercise. Also really exciting dealing with people older than the 17 year old experts you would find at the mall.

The staff at RunTex were very helpful when I went to replace my last pair of running shoes. They will also give you a discount for donating your old shoes when you buy new ones.

Whether a marathoner or casual athlete, you need running shoes that fit. Personally, I can never remember if I pronate or suponate. The staff at Run Tex will analyze your running/walking style, and will patiently wait while you try out their different suggestions.

Save yourself the trouble. Go to Luke's Locker instead. The selection here is appallingly scant.

This place is now closed but I think their downhill spiral started when I moved to Austin in April 2010 and went to their store to buy new running shoes. I was there 15 minutes without being acknowledged by anybody in their store, and I was the only customer in there and they were not busy.

If you are looking to get serious about running go here. they will help you find the best shoes for your body, and explain the differences (which most places to not) They have a great selection, and all of the "must haves" that you need. the staff is great and helpful and you'll want to hit the trail immediately after leaving!
