Nice friendly place, warm welcome. Bit pricey but so is everywhere else in Wales. Haven't tried the food but when I was there it looked pretty good and people seemed to be enjoying it. I will try the food when I get a chance and update my opinion. Overall, nice friendly pub.

Very nice Robinsons pub that has a good menu. Very popular so book during Covid. Coffee and scones was all we had sitting on tables outside the pub but scone was hot and very tasty. Coffee was also good. Range of Robinsons ales and lots of premium lagers to choose from. Staff exceptionally pleasant and helpful. There are several rooms for dining in and they are all tasty fully decorated. We'll worth a visit if in Dollgellau.

Fantastic hotel and restaurant. We spent 2 nights here. Really comfortable rooms, delicious cooked breakfast.
We also ate in the bar/restaurant for one evening. Great food and friendly staff.
The walking map on the website is really clear and easy to follow. I would recommend using this for walking in the Cadair Idris range

Popular hotel bar, with great traditional feel, and just a short drive to beaches, and other attractions. We had a superb balcony room.
Parking is limited at peak times, though a sizeable paid car park is 30 yards away if you can't find any free street parking. Very enjoyable stay here.
