Old world charm describes this gorgeous old manor ...

Old world charm describes this gorgeous old manor to a tee. A beautiful place to stay with friendly staff. My room was beautifully appointed with a huge king size bed, roll top desk and other matching furnishings that take you right back to the 1800s (due to the beautiful old furnishings there is a slight musty smell that should be expected and dissapates once you open the windows and lucky me, the double doors to the balcony). Downstairs is the dining/function room, a baby grand piano (yes you may play) and those beautiful overstuffed leather chairs you can imagine 'Sherlock Holmes' sitting in. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and look forward to going back! So close to shopping of all sorts and a 3 minute walk away is a beautiful Italian restaurant I thoroughly recommend. I loved my stay and truly recommend 'The Manor' to all.

Had money stolen from me by Indonesia lady at front desk(Bintang).
Very upset as I had to cancel my cards and has caused me a lot of inconvenience in paying my bills.
She also stole the last of my Centrelink money.Do not trust this woman with your card details!!!

Friendly, clean and a stones throw to Darlinghurst. Historical building with old world charm. Very comfortable bed, for the price of the room it was really good value. The water pressure could have been better but that was fine. Would stay again.
