Great place for family visit, lots of actives for kids to enjoy. Spend about 5 hours can't finished all. Thinking about getting the Special events season tickets and come back whenever they open.

Place only open for events, before visit better check their open days.

Enjoyed a day here. Good vale for money. My 8 year old enjoyed it. We paid a bit more for a good tour on a tractor trailer. There were some activities that were being run for the kids by the volunteers. Plenty to see for those adults interested in this aspect of history.

Brilliant day out, the mad lab presentations were great, along with the rocket making, launching and the obstacle course. Very entertaining and educational for the kids but it is really open to the elements so dress as if you will be outside all day. You can shelter from the rain but not really the wind. Spy activities were really good too.

Had a great fireworks night here, really made a change from a normal fireworks night because of all the activities available for the kids before the main event.

Fireworks experiment show, slim making, candle making, archers before the fireworks, music backed fire display.

I d recommend for a fireworks night.

Brilliant day out for anyone interested in war time buildings, plenty to do, plenty to see!

Love this place. Loads to look at and learn about. There are two shows during the day by professor nitrogen.. which are well worth watching with the kids...
Snack shop is a bit pricey so I would advise a picnic if in a budget, there's loads of places to sit and eat in the sun.
Play area for children that aren't worn out!!! And the chance to make your own rocket and air launch it.

We visited on the 1940s reenactment day and it was a brilliant time. Lots to do and see and the volunteers were so welcoming and knowledgeable. I will definitely come back to another event.
