Learn how to deal with patients who have mental health problems properly. Absolutely disgusting. Telling a patient who's scared they're going to die and who has severe anxiety just to grow up. You'd think they nurses would be more understanding especially since covid means that people are all alone on the wards with no family or support. Once again TAKE MENTAL HEALTH SERIOUSLY.

What an absolute disgrace of an hospital! My relqtive has been in there for a week and had nothing but plain jacket potatoes because I quote "they don't do gluten free" but I bet they do halal, kosher, sugar free etc though don't they! Nearly 80 year old woman wasting away and no we can't take her own food in either. Nurses have zero bed side manner or care for their patients either. Sickening it is

Hubby not been too well for over 6 weeks, our doc doesn't fully know and won't refer him to see specialist. Then rang doc on Friday told him again feels worse, then doc told him to go A&E. Doc failed to send referral. Seen by nurse's he explained full symptoms, then seen by doctor nearly 2 hrs later. They would not do any scans or further tests??
Today my hubby collapsed in the bathroom!!!
Hospital have a record history, use it to diagnose patients. Not all GPs know what they're doing!!

In October 2020 I was diagnosed with stage 2 to 3 ...

In October 2020 I was diagnosed with stage 2 to 3 oesophagus cancer. After various meetings and tests I was placed into a treatment plan. This was to include 4 cycles of chemotherapy, followed by an esophagectomy, followed by more chemotherapy. From before admission for the esophagectomy which was 29th March 2021 the support and reassurance that was there from the surgical team has been fantastic. It was down to Mr Needham's nurse Amanda who talked me into having the operation in the first place. For that she has my eternal gratitude along with Mr Needham and not forgetting about every single person in the team who played a part in my operation and after care. To say the treatment and operation was very successful is an understatement. I was released from the hospital on 12th April 2021. Since then I have walked 1 to 2 miles every day. My sats are 94 to 96 over 68 every time I check them. This was due to the intensive physiotherapy by Mckensie and his team. Sorry I can't remember all the names but I am grateful to you all. I would love to thank everybody for their individual involvement through the process and let you know what a fantastic team you all make. I am forever grateful.

Took my daughter after being fobbed off by our GP 3 times and Im so glad I did. All sorted now but wanted to give feedback in particular Kirsty the sister in paediatrics. (Long red hair). Very comical and had banter with my 12 year old. Made her feel at ease and had such a bubbly pleasant down to earth manner. The doctor was reassuring, Stacey (sister) Lucy staff nurse also lovely. Have to say Kirsty though is an asset to the BRI as my daughter was so relaxed in her company considering her pain and reluctance to be seen. Thank you so much xxx

Spent a number of hours here whilst waiting for organ retrieval. The Security staff were exceptional thank you for sorting things out for me. Staff were courteous and whilst I was aware they were tired they still went the extra mile. I completed 10k steps walking up and down the corridors.
The reception area of the Main Entrance is like what you would see at an airport lounge. Thank you Lyndsey Sykes!!!
