I only give one piece of advice if you don't want ...

I only give one piece of advice if you don't want to get even sicker than you already are, don't go to the Red Cross Hospital in Bremen!
My father was there for four weeks and because of blood flow in the right leg, which was also amputated, over the weeks he was feeling worse and worse, such as heart failure, shortness of breath, and underactive kidneys!
He was released as a nursing patient with shortness of breath, now after 6 days at home it became so bad that he was now taken to another hospital and the diagnosis is a dangerous germ in the body.
His two neighbors were always bad and one was moved to another ward for whatever reason, I almost guess because of germs, but that's just a guess.
I personally didn't like the hospital from day one and now we have the proof that you can get in and out more healthily!
Never never never again !!!!

An acquaintance of mine was in the Red Cross Hospital Bremen Neustadt for 5 weeks. He was very satisfied with the medical care and the friendly nursing staff. In his opinion, the best hospital he has ever been to. The doctors not only saved his life, but also his left leg. Cheers to vascular surgery .....................................
Such a hospital should definitely be recommended ...........

Unfortunately, my friend has now had a very bad experience with the nursing staff, which led him to leave the ward against medical advice and write about the following complaint against certain nurses:

Dear Doctor. XXXXXXXXX

On February 13th, 2018 I rang my room XXX at 4:00 p.m. for a nurse because I had severe pain in my left foot.
I was told by the learning nurse J. that I would not receive any pain reliever, because according to the analysis by the learning sister J., the pain came from my back and I should sit upright on the edge of the bed and the feet should hang down. Said and done very reluctantly, because the pain got worse and I should endure the procedure for at least 10 minutes. 10 minutes later the pain was still there. I had to endure the pain until 5:30 p.m. Furthermore, I should receive a cooling envelope around my left leg, which should remain on my leg for 15 to 20 minutes. This cooling envelope was created by learning sister J. at 4:20 p.m. At 5:00 p.m. I rang the bell again for a nurse so that the warm envelope can be removed from my leg. The station attendant D. looked at the envelope and disappeared apathetically from the room as if it was none of his business. At 5:25 p.m. I rang the bell again. Sister W. explained to me that I could remove the envelope myself and also wanted to leave the room ignorantly when I called after her who should now do the bandage. Visibly reluctant, she made the bandage for me and said so succinctly that something like this could be "forgotten" once.
During the entire late shift, I had the impression that the staff seemed to be overwhelmed with their tasks and completely ignored me. When Sister W. came back into the room at 7:00 p.m. and asked if she could "do something for us", I told her I wanted to go. The station doctor on duty then appeared very quickly T., who wanted to prevent my "goodbye" by telling me that I was taking the risk of losing my leg and that I should stay on the ward at least until Friday. I described my concern to Mr. T. why I wanted to go. He is well informed about the events. Had Sister J. had the clarifying conversation with me, I would probably have stayed at home. Instead, she dodged me and arrogantly ignored me, which is probably her way. I just wanted to know what I did to all of you ??????????
Sister W. could no longer save the situation because she kept telling me that "going" was my decision.
These "gentlemen" are very far from knowledge of human nature and interpersonal relationships.
After this "disagreement" between me and this care worker in the late shift, it was emotionally impossible for me - contrary to common sense - to remain on the ward.
The final sentence of my acquaintance should let every person with a heart recognize what he intends to do in despair, "when the time comes". It's not the first time.

"If a life-threatening erysipelas forms again, you can bury me".

Total bad, I advise against this hospital. My wife was in severe pain and almost didn't feel like it.

Brief examination, then it said she can go and should go to the family doctor. It would not be better at home. Very disappointing

A hospital, which we don't approach as often from a district south of Bremen as a rescue service / emergency doctor. So far, however, I have always had competent and friendly medical colleagues and nurses there who have taken over our patients. A nice contrast to the houses of Gesundheit Nord in Bremen.

Was there a total of 4.5 days. Felt in good hands, doctors and nurses were very nice. However, the information policy is a bit poor - you get partly to the same question different answers or no precise explanation.

Very good is the morning and evening buffet - the food on the station is rather mau and tastes often chemically (especially the desserts or the packed coffee, rather the fingers of leave). When looking at the list of ingredients, one then wonders why such a thing is distributed in a hospital.

So far we had only had good experiences there. Nice staff, nice rooms with a view of the little Weser. Short-term care right next door has also been perceived positively by us so far. If you live in Neustadt, the short distances to the clinic are very pleasant. However, we always go there by bike. The parking garage has eased the parking problem, but we only use it in an emergency.

I was a patient in the rheumatic clinic for 4 days. Everything was just great. I liked the fact that there was a buffet early and in the evening, where you could put together your food. I have never experienced anything like this in any other hospital.
The doctors were all very friendly and anxious to really help the patients (not as "demigods in white"). The sisters and carers have taken the patients very seriously in their differences and have responded to anyone who has questions or needs. A big compliment to the carers of Stat. W3. However, there is also a negative point. At the ward there is 1 sister (I do not want to make my name public here, the patient knows who I'm writing from), who should think about how to deal with the patients politely, their often snappish and thus hurtful way is impossible. However, I also do not know what criteria she is going to be very compassionate about.
All in all, I give this clinic the full score for care, doctors and the other things that are still a stat. Belong to stay. I would always like to come back anytime.

Not really worthy of the star. I have never seen such an unfriendly and incompetent emergency room. The receptionist should rethink his or her job choice. These sayings were more than inappropriate and I will take action against them. I only advise against this hospital. After waiting for over 3 hours with pain, I left and looked for another hospital. Never again.

In 2017 I had to go to the emergency station because I was hit by a car and injured my arm and leg. I had to wait 3 hours until it came to me, although I was the only one in the waiting room. I also felt as if they had not taken it seriously because I was still able to walk reasonably normal. Examination went also felt 5 min and then I was allowed to go home again.

In January 2019, I was in the emergency room after having twisted my ankle, had a swollen, slightly bluish ankle and had massive pain. I could barely walk.

Although I told the doctor that I heard a loud crack when I twisted my ankle, he said after an X-ray and a short palpation that it was definitely (!) Not a torn ligament and released me with a splint that I was supposed to wear for a few days and the instructions for my foot To spare days.

A few days later I went to an orthopedic surgeon again because it didn't get better and the ankle and side foot were now bright dark blue.
Immediately after the first glance, he said, "Definitely torn ligaments!" I said and then checked it again by ultrasound and showed me that too. "See, here and there, all the way through".

Incidentally, you cannot see a torn ligament in the X-ray.
That was the first and last time I was in this hospital.
I still have problems with my feet today.

Per:

Per:
- Everything well organized and managed from admission to discharge
- friendly staff, doctors, nurses (with very few exceptions, everyone has a bad day)
- Particularly noteworthy is the friendliness of the hostesses who provided you with food
- There are voluntary 'green ladies and gentlemen' who make offers, support, run errands or just talk. They regularly looked in
- The food and the selection is great, both on the ward, and the buffets in the morning and in the evening
- Signage in the hospital very good
Cons:
- the 3 bed rooms are much too small
- With a handicap or even with a wheelchair you cannot get to the wardrobes, so you live out of the suitcase, which is actually always in the way
- the cleanliness leaves something to be desired, is my personal feeling
- I thought it was a shame that on the day of the operation, after the operation, no doctor spoke to me and asked how I was doing (I also no longer saw the surgeon, but the doctors who made the rounds , that may have organizational reasons)

My 62 years old mother, suffering from osteopenia, had a fall and went in surch for medical aid at this hospital during the weekend. In pain, with edema and bruises, for her surprise she was badly received and disrespected by the only Dr. on call.
He refused to give her any medication for the pain because, those were his exactly words "this is not a pharmacy!" and didn't even bother to know her previous condition.
This is outrageous and simply unacceptable!
The place is a joke!

Was brought in with the ambulance a week ago and had to stay there for 1 week. Was in cardiology 5 B, nice doctors, nurses, super nice and patient. Even when the doorbell rings 10 times because of trivialities, they remained friendly.
Perhaps the emergency bell should not ring for some people with the note emergency no service bell. Someone comes through often enough for such things so that you can then express these wishes. Would visit this hospital again at any time

Desperate with pain, I was admitted to Ward 6a - after 10 days I was released painless. The stay was a great success for me. I have never felt so comfortable in a hospital. The care on the ward and also in the pain ambulance was excellent. All applications had been carried out successfully by trained personnel with care, calm and good ideas. You have also done me very well. I can not imagine better care. Many thanks to all concerned.

In the emergency room shortly after 06:00 clock I was quite satisfied. Even if only one surgeon had examined my abscess, and advised me to have an operation, even though it was only just under the skin. I still had a little wait of about 10 minutes, in the treatment room. In the waiting area I had a waiting time of about 3 minutes. The doctor was friendly, looked after me well.

The second appointment in the outpatient clinic, however, had been anything but good. The doctor himself had been a medical assistant, the blood collection was quite fast and painless. This unusual values were found, I will come back to later. My abscess was then reopened manually, was painful, but went quickly.
After the discharge, I was called to come here again, as unusual blood levels were found. So again, again blood collection and off to the waiting room. After 30 minutes I have dismissed against medical advice. I also have other things to do than sit in the waiting room. The attending physician (o. Resident) unfortunately was quite penetrating and tried to convince me to stay for about 5 minutes.

Therefore, my resumee, next time another hospital for me, even if the RKK is quite close, then I then but on another KH, unless it is an emergency for the NA.

The hospital was ridiculously bad.

The hospital was ridiculously bad.
The nurses do not know what the patient's problems are and change daily. It seems normal that they make the same mistakes every day. For example, a patient who could not sit without experiencing dizziness, severe headache and nausea was put in a sitting position anew every day. There does not seem to be any or only an inadequate handover of the shifts.
Doctors only take care of themselves after multiple requests, diagnoses were vague and inaccurate and the therapy was not explained.
Surprised at home to find that the doctor's letter contains incorrect information and unspoken instructions.

The RKk is in my case the best hospital and I was very lucky that I was treated there
I was sent to RKK by my family doctor in February 2018 for the diagnosis of esophageal cancer.
The preliminary talk was good and detailed and every question was answered.
The investigations were thorough and always approached the appointment city
From the Rkk also the chemo and the radiotherapy was organized. The OP went very well and the treatment afterwards was also very good. The doctors and nurses were always friendly and competent
As I said, I had good luck and thank you all in the RKK had made sure that I left the hospital upright on my own legs
I can only recommend the hospital

My dad had a hip operation
At the first operation the healing process was ok. Then his hip shifted and he had to be operated a second time. Thereafter, the wound healed until today
not already 36 days in the hospital and not yet

Discharge in sight. I'm wondering how much longer is that possible?

Communication with theirs

Staff and clinic management

is questioned.

Only positive bright spot

is after my sensation
the friendly staff of the
Nursing department.

Otherwise, to the whole extent of the treatments and the course of the healing I see something
Skeptical. But it's only mine
Personal opinion.

They wanted to send me away without an exam first, even though I was at HA and had no contagious diseases. They were just rude. Never again.
After a few hours in the emergency room I went away even though the waiting place was empty,
minus
- Patients are not taken seriously
- is seen as a "burden" because the end of the working day has been postponed (maybe missing the job?!)
- rolled eyes when you have to think for a moment.
I was shocked by the handling in the emergency room.

Outpatient pain therapy.

Outpatient pain therapy.
At first it took a long time to get the documents. Called at the end of November, they told me two weeks. I got in touch two weeks later. The lady on the phone had apparently not even recorded my data. At the end of December I had my documents. Appointment made in early January for the end of March. Then came Corona. My appointment was canceled and postponed with "Yes, you are not a tumor patient, you have to assume that you will still be alive in six months". Get an appointment for the beginning of July at the end of May. Doctor there a bit difficult, the proposed therapy did not achieve the expected effect. Appointment with the chief physician two weeks later. He explained everything to me very well and was very responsive to me. Preliminary examinations were good. Until then, I was satisfied so far. Common drug combinations were not known and I had to find out for myself whether the drugs were tolerable, because the doctor didn't look up and ultimately didn't ask any more.
Then I called because I was supposed to get a prescription and was put off until later (half an hour), called again later and tried again to put me off until later (10 minutes). I said that it doesn't work. Suddenly the lady had time for me, I was asked whether the preliminary examination had already taken place and whether the doctor had already looked at it, the preliminary examination was on the same ward and was discussed with the doctor immediately afterwards, I was told that I would the prescription can be picked up by 3 p.m. on the same day. However, shortly after 2 p.m. no one could be reached. The next day I was given the recipe in the front door without asking for my personal details. For two days I had to try to reach the nurses to be told how to dose the medication. When I asked for an appointment, I was put off to the nurses and in a not exactly friendly tone. My family doctor, who is supposed to continue to prescribe the medication, has not yet received any reports from the clinic. Doctors top. Organization and client friendliness unfortunately a huge flop!

Today's report:
I am in the emergency room of the RKK on the urgent advice of my family doctor because of a complication with pneumonia (pneumonia). My arrival had been prepared by the doctor by phone, I was supposed to be helped quickly because I have a very strong cough and I am also very contagious. At least that's the great theory. But not at the RKK!

When I arrived, the nurses started to act stupid and put me in the waiting area of the emergency room with a contagious disease and irritable cough. There, the people, mainly advanced ages, piled up in the 1.5 hour waiting period. All the time the sentence of my family doctor went through my head, with which he urgently advised me to go to the hospital: "What they had earlier was called the mercy of the old man, because they finally died of it" - and that sets me to other people who are old and immune weakened.

After what finally happened after 1.5 hours (despite telephone registration), only trainees took care of me. When I asked for the third ampoule while taking my blood. (I thought nothing of it) how much that will be, I got a very pampy answer from the nursing assistant: "As much as we need!"
After this "registration", which should have already been handed over by my family doctor, I was again sent back to the even fuller waiting area. After an hour I was informed there that they had forgotten to give my blood to the laboratory and that I had to go to the radiology department for an X-ray of the lungs. When I got to radiology, I didn't know anything at first, the emergency room hadn't registered. The procedure there again took an hour and I was again sent to the emergency room waiting area. In the meantime it was 1 p.m., I had been on site for more than 4 hours and apart from 2 minutes of talking to a doctor, no specialist staff had taken care of me. People were now standing in the waiting area of the emergency room and beds with patients were also parked there. At that point my cough was getting worse and I asked the nursing assistant how long it would take. When I was again unfriendly and dismissed from above, "As long as it takes, don't be so demanding" I asked for the access to be removed because I would be leaving. The nursing apparently did not like this at all and asked me to take a seat in the waiting area again (where there were no free chairs to sit on). I then left and removed the access at home myself. The lady apparently sent the police after me, but I ignored them at the front door -> In the shop, no one ever puts a hand on me!

The staff is rude and arrogant, does not answer the simplest questions and accuses the patient of being "demanding".

The Red Cross Hospital is the first address for all who want to be treated unkindly and are not interested in their healing.

Very disorganized,

Very disorganized,
nice friendly staff, but unfortunately this shop is a disaster. Was kept sober every day until 4pm.
Examination results are not discussed with the patient, investigations were not explained. Was brought down to the ultrasound and was not even logged. In the end, I just lay around all day, then said that I want to go home.
On discharge day I had to wait for hours for the report. The report was only nonsense in it was not true.
The only good things about the hospital are the nurses, who try and explain everything, the doctors seem to have no time for that.
Will get treated in another hospital.

Update: due to the very good work of the social service, we have given 2 more stars. If only this service were to be rated, 10 stars would not be enough. Thank you very much for your efforts, Ms. T. !!

Inconceivable ... one star too many. My sister will simply be discharged home today after surgery with an artificial hip a week ago.
Information was not correctly recorded there and assumed to be misinformation for my sister. Rehabilitation is therefore only possible later or not at all. Organizing care at home with a care bed and everything ..... and then claiming that we didn't communicate properly with each other.
Care at home is not possible. How should she z. B. Prepare food? We are not barrier-free. And as mentioned, there is no supply. Or should an 85 year old father do that? We siblings are also unable to attend due to illness ourselves.

Probably not going to get a care bed this week, the doctor at the RKK knows that and is discharging my sister today. Without a care bed, she will have to sleep in an armchair or on a small couch. She is also an epileptic. If something should happen to my sister at home under these circumstances (fall, etc.) we will hold the doctor or the RKK responsible.
People don't care, only money seems to be important. The doctor himself spoke to me on the phone ... I really want to fire my sister

RKK not recommended.

Was brought in drunk early Thursday morning after ...

Was brought in drunk early Thursday morning after I was beaten up at a festival (Breminale). My three companions made this clear to the ambulance staff (the police were also on site) and the hospital staff.
My main symptom was suspected of an ankle fracture, no other was known at first, I was difficult to address when I was admitted, later it worked.

The staff was very unfriendly both to me and the companions. In view of the circumstances - weekdays in the middle of the night, alcohol in the game, folk festival - you might be able to overlook it, even if we acted as politely and kindly as possible.

However, what is not possible is me

- was examined and X-rayed only on the ankle, only a break was excluded, no further diagnosis was made. No recommendation was made to see a doctor
- the attending doctor was advised that I was beaten and kicked on the floor while lying on my face - no other part of the body was examined
- I was released without painkillers and walking aids, without calling a taxi or the like. I was able to perform 0.000 - moving was not possible. When I left the back exit (companions were still at the other end of the hospital) I fell after 5 meters - nobody helped!
- The next day I called to inquire about walking aids - I had to be completely re-admitted for this

End of song:
Outer ligament tear in the ankle, plus various hematomas, dislocated shoulder, open wound on the back of the head.
At least to rule out the suspicion of concussion, I would either have had to be admitted overnight or would have to appear the next day.

After two days the ankle was almost twice as thick and the foot was tarnished in rainbow colors. So quickly to the St. Joseph Stift - was a Saturday - when the doctor treating me was shocked at how small, narrow and long the bandage was. The doctor in the emergency room said that he should stay on for 3-4 days, the doctor in the St. Joseph Stift laughed ...
