Rotana Hotels Review

We stayed here on an Etihad deal where if you stay one night you get the second night free.

The hotel was great and we had adjoining rooms for the kids and like any Asian and Middle East hotels the standards are so much better than Australia and Europe. The rooms are very spacious and bathrooms are huge.

Breakfast was included in the price and I d make sure if you are staying there that you get a deal with it included otherwise meals are pricey at the hotel but no more than anywhere else in Abu Dhabi.

The pool area is great with towels provided. The only downside or perhaps it is an upside for others is that you lose the sun behind the hotel in the afternoon.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the island shuttle bus station is close by.

The only issues are very minor things such as the mini bar fridge hardly cools at all and tiny bits of mould around the bath but for the price I wasn t expecting perfection either.

Overall a great spot to stay at a very reasonable price and I d definitely come back.

Nice Hotel with comfortable rooms. Customer service needs quite some improvement. Buffet breakfast layout quite cluttered and stressful when crowded but food is good.
Check-in staff need to be trained on attending to customers in a timely manner.
Swimming pool not special.
Valet service and doormen are quite good.

In general it is tidy and clean and the staff are rude and always smiling and at your service and the restaurants are good. Their prices are reasonable

Good hotel. The room is spacious, clean and modern.

Spacious room.
Breakfast is OK.
Pool area is good, but pool size is OK.
Lifts are terrible had to take stairs several time during my visit because card won't work to access lift, I've witnessed this every single day of people struggling with lift access.

The hotel location and service is great. The reception staff are awesome specially Wasim. This guy can help you with anything to make your stay great. He takes our requests seriously. He recommended things and he always smiles which made us feel welcomed.

Stuff are friendly and professional, I like the food, refill hot food very fast, I enjoyed my weekend here I will come again

I ate dinner at the in house restaurant "rangoli, modern Indian cuisine" and had an exquisite experience. Wonderful food, service, atmosphere.

Had a fun family staycation at this hotel.. spacious and clean rooms, good house keeping, lovely delicious breakfast and well organised staff to handle a big number during peak breakfast hrs, fun swimming pool specially for kids, a neat play area with nanny who look aftr kids above 5 yrs. Close to the theme parks. Ideal place for a good get away.

The hotel is great and the Hadi and the service staff are very well appointed and helpful and have a sophisticated attitude.

Good, friendly service, food is superb, water temperature at pool is cobtrolled at around 30C so always nice to jump in pool and spend whole day in there

Good, there is a bus that can takes you to the mall and other places in free.

Good views, food and staff, what else we need for staycation. Pool is child friendly too and have bar for adults as well.

The security supervisor is very friendly only only making sure your safe also great hospitality

We've been there several times; they've been wonderful & we truly recommend the place to families, friends, & couples. The staff is so welcoming & helpful at all times. The room service is one of a kind Highly recommended all in all.

Never seen such a friendly reception and all the staff members were so humble treating you like a family. I was there with my wife and my 15 months baby. All the staff members were playing with the baby with a beautiful smile on their face and feel like they're there for us. Even when I lost my room key they did'ty charge me for that and solved my issue with a big smile on their face. Breakfast has huge variety but slightly upset as I am a vegetarian and love Indian food so limited options that too with not a good taste. Not sure for kitchen like is same for veg and non veg or different. So we didn't had food there and satisfied us with fruits and juice's nor you can eat bread toast as staff told us that bread also contains egg in it. But for non vegetarians there are huge variety of options.

Rooms are big enough and mine was beach facing with all the facilities. Bathrooms are big enough and also neat and clean. To visit all destination like Ferrari world, Yas mall, Warner Bros, Yas waterworld you have to take a bus or taxi for going there. Both the bus stop and the taxi stand is nearby this hotel so you don't have to walk enough. Garden and kids play area is nearby this place so you can enjoy your evening there too.
Overall it was a pleasant experience.
5* for the all the staff members. Thanks for such a kind hospitality.

Luxurious hotel with a nice breakfast and a great system of shuttle mini buses to transport you to attractions the only problem is that it's close to the airport so it could be a little bit noisy

We are still in this ,1 week, Very Nice Hotel, good rooms, friendly staff, good service, top food, and also important very clean.
Only the pool needs a renovation because off the missing mosaic tiles.

A family oriented hotel with a good location in YAS Island about 3 minutes away from YAS themes parks and YAS mall with a nice view and a friendly service!

Unfortunately the hotel is very bad and old to love cleanliness and luxury, close to bedlinen Mo clean and the effects of burning smoke brushes old room service bad and slow ask them Shi Yjunk after three hours is worthy of the star and the stars only sweetness and proximity to the entertainment places

Family hotel. I love my kids very much because most of the crew from different disciplines are very friendly with the kids and their food is varied and smooth in all the services .. a place full of love .. forward and I love especially thank the receptionist named Nelissa as well as the swimming pool and spa department think his name is Edward Or Rudy ..

Nice property in the beautiful island. The entrance is bit confusing. Facilities are superb, wear polyster clothes for swimming, Families and kids enjoy pool in the morning. Breakfast is superb. Rangoli (indian restaurant) and U bar is trendy and cool. Zomato offers are accepted.

I've stayed at this hotel twice, once for a weekend trip in 2011 and once again last year after an event in Abu Dhabi. The room was fairly small, with double beds which were fairly small as well. Considering that the hotel was far more expensive than others in the same star-range in Abu Dhabi, the room and food were a let down. However, the location is beautiful with room views facing the Yas circuit and illuminated Viceroy hotel. The rooms were a solid three-stars, but priced at a much higher rate due to excellent location and outdoor facilities.
