In a time of need, the Ronald McDonald house was there for us! We were able to get a room for almost 2.5 weeks thanks to their generosity. We made sure to donate some money before we left. My son was diagnosed with a brain tumor and we live three hours away. We will be making frequent trips to Milwaukee. It's so nice to know that the Ronald McDonald House is open for us to use! Great staff, activities and meals!

Wonderful place where they take care of everything. The rooms are nice and the house is full of activities for your kids. Staff are beyond anything you could ask for. There are volunteers always here making food or cleaning around the house. This place really helps you during a tough time.

RMHC has been amazing to my friend and her family during the times that their daughter has had to stay at Milwaukee Children's Hospital. The environment is very friendly, welcoming and everyone is willing to lend a helping hand. Please consider donating to this amazing organization - for without it some families wouldn't be able to stick together during difficult times..

My heart is broken at this huge weak link in the otherwise spotless reputation and performance of the Ronald McDonald House Charities. We have a daughter with a traumatic brain injury and were rejected by this house because her treatments were not with a "partner" medical facility.

We moved all of our charitable giving to RM House when our daughter stayed early in her injury at the UChicago House four years ago - where everyone was kind and giving beyond belief. So this was a huge disappointment (and shock) to hear all houses aren't like that. There simply are no treatments once the bandages are gone that can be given at a hospital for tbi. The only provider who can support our daughter's fight to be out of pain (as she goes into her 5th year) is in Brookfield. She has been accepted at Dallas, Rhode Island, and others as we explore what can help and all said she was welcome at age 19, because she'd been an RMH family when she was just 15.

Allison, the patient coordinator randomly referenced her age, but first that she wasn't with one of their "partners". None of their partners treat tbi beyond the first few months - and sadly the pain and full disability goes on for many years to a lifetime. I find it despicable to discriminate on malady - which is really what this comes down to, partnering only with hospitals insures no one with a tbi past the first few months can use this house while trying to help their child. So hugely disappointed.

We thought it was going to be great, except they wouldn t let us check in after 8:30. We are coming from out of town and I had to work. So, we had to get a hotel. So much for helping families. Too bad they don t seem to care.

We had to stay a night when our daughter had surgery, such an amazing experience, so nice to not have to worry about all the logistical details of finding a hotel, food, and things to do to keep occupied.

We have stayed here regularly for appointments and surgeries since our daughter was born. We consider the Ronald McDonald House our home away from home. The staff and volunteers do so much to provide a safe and welcoming home for families who are often going through some of the most difficult times of their lives. It truly is The House That Love Built.

My thanks to everyone that works at RMHC. The hard work and dedication that everyone puts forth there make families like mine beable to settle down and get comfortable. It really means alot when I get to see my two boy get to beable to unwind and have so many thing to play with. RMHC makes it possible so we can spend time as a family doing art activities instead of always being stuck in a tiny room with no place for my boys to run and play which after spending a whole day in a hospital room watching their little sister sleep all day.....you know where I'm going with that.....O can't forget to mention they even have brunch and lunches to go and supers so you can get out of that just us world and beable to talk and share with other people or even help a couple or family that just needs a shoulder to lean on.....this place make the worries go away.

Ronald McDonald House is one of the most fantastic organizations here to help families deal with crisis situations in a loving, caring, and hope filled attentive staff! It was a joy to volunteer our group to make dinner for the residence. They helped us with everything we needed to make it a wonderful evening for both the residents and us. We made lots of new friends! Save those pull tabs and volunteer your group for this wonderful cause. You never know when a child you know me needed
