They have no problem sinking cash into renovations at the cathedral. Yet the catholic cemetery in Milford that my parent are in is deplorable. Called about the situation and was told "that's a country cemetery. The church there does not have enough money to do any work on the cemetery. When I buried my dad there 25 years ago, I was told about the landscaping and the water valves that were coming. None of that has happened in 25 years. Buried my mom in May of 2024. the flowers intended to go on top of the grave were thrown face down behind the stone. Grave was recessed a good 4 inches, and no seed was ever put down. The grave had 2 chipmunk holes in it. Called the church several times and Jay Duffy, the sexton would not reply. Then, he had the audacity to deny that I had every reached out to him. Both phone calls and text messages to him by both me and my sister prove otherwise. He showed up the day of my mom's burial. He told me "If there's a blade of grass out of place let me know". Well, there would have to be actual grass there for a blade to be out of place! Called the archdiocese who told me the church couldn't afford to make the place look decent. Love how they can waste money on a life size cardboard cutout for the alter at the cathedral of the new pope. And put in a huge Pulpit that was not needed. Yet, my parents can't even rest in a cemetery with grass. I had to put my own soil on the grave to level it and put my own grass seed down. This is a deplorable way to treat parishioners who were members of St. Patrick's church in Milford since 1976!!! My parents gave generously to the church. This is how they are disrespected in their deaths. I am thoroughly disgusted in the church. The archdiocese needs to check their priorities. You have insulted and offended my entire family. I had no choice other than to exhume my father and move him to a better resting place when my mother died. So now my mom is laid to rest in this shabby cemetery. You should be embarrassed by your excuses, lies and non-actions. The cathedral and its cemetery are not the only places that deserve to be considered when spending money. Take your "country cemetery" excuse and lay it to rest. That is such an insulting way to say something. Show some respect to your deceased members. My parent's loyalty and cash donations are certainly worth some grass seed and dirt. Stop lying to people who are buying plots like I was lied to 25 years ago.

I have lived in Nashua,NH all of my life. Born and raised a Catholic, I belonged to St. Francis Xavier parish, Chandler St. Once it was closed I had a very difficult time finding a parish that I would feel a belonging to as a family and above all spiritually enlightened in God's divine words & love. Needless to say I went to almost all of the churches remaining in the city for years and could not find that special priest that would make me feel spiritually enlightened until I attended a mass by Father Marcos, pastor at St Louis de Gonzague(Saint Aloysius). He makes you feel like you are attending the last supper of Christ that He is actually there in bread and wine, Fr. Marcos' words are so sincere, deep and meaningful throughout the entire mass. The sermons are so filled with deep spiritual & educational explanations that I can truly say that this is the very first time that I fully understand each of the weekly gospels as Fr. Marcos explains the deep, spiritual meaning and how it can be applied in our lives as we live each day. I truly thank God that I have found true catholic and apostolic teachings in each mass that I attend in this parish by Fr. Marcos, I look actually lood forward to attending mass as I feel that Christ is definitely in my heart and mind always.

Our Diocese and Our Catholic Church rock! My parents raised me in the Faith at Saint Patrick Church in Milford NH. It's a great, small town Parish. I've been fortunate to live in Maine, Texas, Massachusetts and then I found Renee and we opted to raise our family in New Hampshire. We've been incredibly blessed by so many. Rev. Mark Dollard was present in our lives during those fun years when you try to get your kids to behave at Church! Our family was blessed to attend the Villa, Holy Family, Trinity High School and Saint Anselm College. We relocated to Saint Patrick's where Fr. Dennis is our Pastor. We are proud to be Catholic. We are proud and grateful for all of our priests and religious! We are so blessed to have Saint Anselm College. Let us all continue to share our faith and to inspire others to join us!
