It was a pleasant surprise to find this executive course...probably the best I've played in the valley. Nice course design with many elevation changes and interesting doglegs. Course was in good condition after overseeding. Late morning start, and good pace if play.

Started at 6am done by 9. Course is in nice shape. Open tee time during the week now. But weekends are busy. Executive course helps you work on your irons. Had a great round this morning.

This is my go to golf course that I've played at for the past couple years. It is well maintained for a municipal golf course, the views are great, and the price is right. It's not as nice as some of the other courses around and is a bit shorter than a normal course but it is well worth the money to play.

Course can get backed up at busy times, worth the price.

I continue to go back as much as I can

Absolutely love this golf course. 62 par course, but moderately challenging with elevation changes. Typically well kept desert course with green fairways and sloping moderate speed greens. Always have pretty good deals on price and run by the city. Recommended to beginners and moderate golfer skill range.

For the price it was Ok. I wanted to play a quick 18 holes. It's a short executive course par 62 with 10 par 3s and 8 par 4s. I played it on 2 hours. Started at 6:10 am. Done before it got too hot.

For an executive course, this thing can kick your tail. It's in great shape and in a beautiful area. Definitely plenty of chances to get into trouble (desert lies off fairway, steep slopes off greens, tight fencelines on left of a couple holes). Serious uphill, downhill on about half the holes with one par three across a valley that if short will roll all the way back, same result if you putt a little too strong from the back of the green. Greens are fairly fast, T-boxes are in good shape, and pace of play was about average, not fast but not too slow either. Waited to t-off on about 6 holes.

Over the years I've been on the course many times and I've always enjoyed it.

Excellent condition and value! This course is run by the city which is usually a detrement to a golf course but Rolling Hills was in great condition when I played in December.

The course itself is right in the sweet spot between executive and full length. There are a lot of challenging par 3's and short to mid length par 4's. The greatest feature the course has to offer are the elevation changes. It is rare in the Phoneix area to have such a range of steep uphill and downhill holes. It made the experience super fun. Recommended for all levels of player!

Great short course with par 3s and 4s. If you want to improve your chip and putt game, then this is the place to go to. Greens are usually in good conditions, so the balls seems to roll true.

The greens were nice and price was inexpensive. Most of the staff was pleasant as well. However, I have to give it 1 star because I was extremely offended by the ranger there. Last weekend while golfing with colleagues of mine, I was singled out, harassed, and threatened by the ranger. I believe it was racially motivated. As a black man in a group of 5 other white men, the ranger threatened to call the police on ME because he said I was "moving slow." However, the next group was two holes behind us. He followed ME (not the other 3 golf carts) around for over 20 minutes harassing me and literally telling me that if I didn't hurry up, he would call the police on me.

I will NEVER visit this establishment again. It was extremely embarrassing and even my colleagues tried to inquire why he was singling me out. Completely unacceptable in 2021.

I went off on as a single with nobody else on the course as I made the turn on 9 they put off a single on 1 and 10 to completely block me. Very poor course management I will not be playing there

This is a nice, short course if you're looking to work your mid range iron game. Not a lot of driving holes, unfortunately. The driving range is a bit short. I only have a 250 yard carry with driver and was easily hitting through the back fence of the range which leaked out on to the course. The greens are quite tough to read with lots of undulations.

Went to go drive some golf balls around 430pm Tuesday. There was a guy behind me looking to do the same thing and we were told it was closed and that the last time to get a bucket was 1pm because they wanted to make sure they had all the balls up to mow tomorrow. On the website Wednesday's they close at 2pm for maintenance. Nothing about Tuesday's closing early. It's around 7pm and it's still sunny out. I think the employees just didn't want to have to go back through and gather more golf balls up before clocking out and closing up for the day.
