I've been debating writing this review for a couple days now, since it's been so long since I've worked here but I felt I needed to let others know about this place. I worked here in late 2017 for the JAB Campaign, I'm not sure if this campaign is still active or not. Although I hope it isn't, as this is one of the worst places to work and certainly the worst job I've ever had. I was only there about 5 or 6 months before leaving.
I had heard about this place after graduating high school and figured I'd give it a try. I walked in and asked for an application and they ended up giving me an interview at that moment, which was pretty nice. A very quick process to apply. The person who interviewed me(forgot his name) was very friendly and easy going. He was able to set me up with a time to start training for the JAB Campaign, as they were hiring at the time.
He set me up for a time early Sunday morning the following week. I was set to go in at around 7AM and begin my training. I showed up about 10 minutes early and noticed that the lights in the building were all turned off and all the doors were locked. I decided to wait until 7 and try again. At 7 AM I still couldn't get in the building and by that point other people had shown up and were waiting outside the building with me. I asked if they were there for training too and they all said yes. I tried looking up the main phone number to try and call someone but when I looked up the hours on Google it said that the building was closed on Sundays. So i wasn't sure what to make of this. I emailed the person who interviewed me asking if this was a mistake, but I didn't know how long it would take for them to get back to me.
Eventually someone came outside and let us in the building. The building was empty except for the JAB campaign. I told the supervisor who was there that day, that I was to begin my training, and no one there knew anything about this. They had no idea that anyone was to begin training today, so they basically just had me sit with someone listening to phone calls all morning. Eventually I got a response from the gentleman who interviewed me saying he would set up another time to start training and that he would make sure someone was there to help me. However, I was basically just doing the same thing. This went on for about a week or so, where I was just sitting with someone listening to calls, no training was ever done during this time.
After a week of this I finally met the trainer who was super helpful and just a good guy overall. Training went well, just more of listening to calls and taking a few calls here and there. It wasn't until I was on the phones on my own that the issues started. There was an extreme lack of leadership here, the "supervisors" would just sit at their desks all day watching YouTube and seemed to get annoyed whenever you would ask them for help. There were also many instances where I needed help and there were no supervisors on the floor, but instead were outside smoking, so I had to exit the floor, and go outside just to ask for help on a phone call. And everyone there acted as if this was normal. I have nothing against people who smoke, but that fact that they would just leave the floor without telling us where they were incase we needed help is extremely unprofessional. The supervisors here seemed more interested in barking out orders than actually trying to help.
This was my first call center job, so of course I'm bound to make some mistakes while on a call, as is everyone. But as mentioned before, the supervisors here are more interested in chewing you out for making mistakes rather than helping you. I could go on forever about this place, but I would recommend that you stay far away. Look somewhere else, this place caused me nothing but stress and headaches
