I work for the company and am very proud to say so,because it a truly Family oriented business...

Driving school students isn't an easy job and is even more challenging driving for a company that expects their employees to drive used personal vans coverted to school vehicles. That thankfully is not Rohrer Bus.
I drove for a company called Graybill Transportation for a few years and they basically bought used vans at auction to use to transport students.
Common to drive drive a van with the abs brakes system light on and even for a period of time the brakes so bad they skeetched. Doors that didn't open properly, seats that didn't function, and cooling systems that didn't work.
Talking with fellow drivers one thing the Rohrer drivers would say they had good well maintained vehicles. Graybill transportation their son did the inspections and was very leinint in passing and delaying repairs due to expense.
Yes, I covered myself by taking pictures of the problems and noting everything. Thank God there was never an accident.
If you have children in school be viligant and don't assume the vans and buses are safe.
Another thing make sure the drivers are responsible. Graybill just last year had one of their drivers arrested for child abuse. Yes Graybill family member, the bosses son. Arrested for corrupting middle school students with pornography images. And others drivers known to drink heavily and other questionable things.
Be on your guard, it's your children's life these transportation companies have in their hands.
Rohrer bus is a top of the line respectable company. The others I know I'd not be able to let transport my kids and be able to sleep at night knowing what I do.

They got us there. That was about the best joy of it. They wouldn't make an on the way stop even though we paid for the three hour minimum and only used 2 hours max of that. They also didn't really seem to care and said that I didn't put it in the schedule so it's my fault. I should put in the schedule a stop for drunk people to stop I. The way to get snacks and water at a convenience store? Not impressed and I don't recommend them. There are better options in the area.

Do NOT use this company, unless you're going to be sent to an out of state prison for execution. They will NOT show up on time because they WON'T remember to schedule you, they WON'T tell you the truth as to why you are waiting and waiting and waiting, they DON'T care that 10's of thousands of dollars of tour and airline fees are at risk because of their dishonest carelessness and when they finally DO show....it WON'T be in a tour bus! It will be a school bus without AC to take your loved ones the 4 hour trip to JFK (on a 90 degree day) at which point you're not even sure they'll get there in time. Use this company if you wish to avoid your execution. Guaranteed way to survive. I want my friggin money BACK!

FOLLOW UP: Well, they showed up at JFK to pick everyone up.......on time....in a school bus......without AC, on the last day of June. You people at Roher should be ashamed. AND offering 25 bucks a head for a refund. Pathetic excuse for a business.

I appreciate the people that run this business, they totally went above and beyond!

Very professional and friendly employees. They had Fox News on in the lobby though

Drivers are bad at driving,unsafe and just think think they have more power than they do.

Both times I have used this company they were 20 minutes late and the second time an hour and a half late. There staff is friendly
But unreliable.

If you like kids and need a part time job, go here and once you are hired, with the
proper training, you will have that job.
