I encountered a pretty unique situation last Fall. Long story short, I was being charged with Felony assault. The Dakota County prosecutors for lack of a better phrase wanted blood. I believe the words used at my initial hearing were danger to society , they requested that the judge increase my bail, no deals for a plea were even on the table.
