Had them out to recoat our concrete countertops in the kitchen; the coating bubbled, they came back out, made some repairs, its still bubbling and looks worse than it was before we had them come in. Looking for someone else to make repairs.
Wow! what a difference Rogo's makes on making a patio and back porch look like new! From Day one, the staff were truly professional, and follow through is beyond perfection. Richard and his team were a pleasure to work with. Julian who did the make over was a true craftsman paying attention to every detail! We simply do not get this type of service anymore. This company will be my number 1 to refer, both in price, quality and timeliness. Thanks a million we love our patio!
They use shady epoxy sub contractors who don t pay their employees. A shame that Rogo s lets this happen under their name on their contracted jobs.
The folks at Rogos are very talented concrete finishers. I've been amazed at some of the work they have done.
I was contacted to do carpet transitions by a homeowner who had just had his concrete floor laid by Rogo's. When I got there I was surprised at how beautiful it looked! The color was perfect and the lines were exact. This is definitely a top quality job.
Simply wonderful. We had our floors done in the communal areas of our home by Richard s team and they are BEAUTIFUL. Would highly recommend anyone looking into stained concrete to look at Rogo s first. Great prices and amazing quality.
ROJO'S has been working with me over 23 years. Initially they put the tile down in my home. When I added an addition they worked with me on having scored cement. I am very satisfied with service and quality of work.
We heard great things about Rogos so basically I was already sold before the estimator even came out to look at the job. It was a 1200 sq. ft townhouse. I guess the job wasn t big enough or desirable enough for their company because I never heard back from them. I guess they are to busy for more business. They talked ME out of hiring them.
This company is not customer friendly. They claim to be so busy that they cannot get someone out to do a job for weeks. Then when they do the job, specifically my job it was not done correctly. Then in-order to schedule the appointment once again it was weeks out. Then they send someone that has never been here before and he arrives 30 minutes late! Still waiting for an appointment to repair their mistake. When I called to talk with the manager, the manager couldn't speak to me, as I was given the excuse "the manager is in a meeting". Richard, the estimator, was arrogant. When I asked questions he stated "I told you that!", speaking like I was a child or just plain stupid. I only choose this company because I needed repairs to the floor this company installed by the previous owner. Let the buyer beware!
Be cautious working with this company, Rogo's Finishing Touch is all about making money, with indifference and contempt towards the customer. I scheduled a reseal and minor chip repair on my driveway, was charged $795, which was more than expected, and canceled the job 5 days later, because the driveway was going to be expanded in size and stamped with a pattern. My intent was to have Rogo's stain and seal the entire new larger driveway, but when I notified Rogo's of my intention of the new job, they kept the deposit of $795, and stated I would be receiving a refunded portion of what was already charged. Bottom line they got $159.00 for doing nothing. I have not received a refund, and was told it would be 6 to 10 days until recoupment was possible. This business lacks integrity, transparency, and quality customer service. I will not be considering Rogo s for any future work, and would highly recommend to anyone considering Rogo s to look somewhere else.
Poor workmanship and lazy. Our new floor was installed two months ago and is showing through in spots to the original floor below. Installer left hairs and lots of them imbedded in floor all over the house so it never looks completely clean. One pubic hair is imbedded in floor next to the toilet! That s embarrassing if company comes to use the bathroom!! The chosen color was not what we got- the final color is much lighter than we agreed upon and installer lied and said it would dry darker, so we thought he knew what he was talking about and trusted him. I would never hire these folks again.
We would not recommend Rogo's to anyone. Our experience with them was frustrating and ultimately the floors are blotchy and there is extensive wood stains around the house from sloppy work that is a constant reminder of the poor quality work. As other reviewers have pointed out the customer service is unpleasant and we were regularly sent untrained people who's work had to be redone. This resulted in missed work to meet their limited schedule for fixing work that should have been right the first time. Other treates included being told we were lying only to have a manager come out and agree that they were in the wrong. Overall an extremely upsetting process and outcome.
Heard good things about this company but was very disappointed by our experience. We hired Rogo's to do acid stain concrete floors: a golden yellow based color floor with red marbled throughout as an accent. They finished acid staining and when sealing the floor they made a mistake and used the wrong sealant, causing a reaction to the stain underneath causing white blotches all over the floor. They tried but could not fix it so they had to grind the whole floor down and start all over. Setting us back another week. They laid down a new concrete veneer and this time they said they could not give us the acid wash because they were afraid it would have another reaction so they used paint based stains instead and insured us they could give us that acid wash look we wanted. I asked them to go easy on the red the second time they did the floor because they really saturated it the first time. When they were finished laying the paint the floor it was so saturated with red it looked like a flat red floor. They admitted it did not have the look we were going for so offered to marble a little brown paint throughout to try and give it a more dimensional look. I was worried it would make the floor too dark but desperate to try and achieve a little variation in color in the floor so I told them to go ahead and try it. We were not excited with how it looked but they assured us the colors would 'pop' once they sealed it. They sealed it with a sealant that was not as glossy in the examples of their work they had showed us. It's not very glossy at all, doesn't have that wet seal look so the color falls flat. Even right after I mop it is still looks dirty because it shows streaks and water spots. They called us to let us know they were finished with the floor but were not there to look at it. They never followed up with us to see if we liked the floor. I contacted Rogo's about my dissatisfaction with the floor once to their general email with no response, second directly to their billing manager - to which she replied she would look into the issue. We never heard back from them. Their lack of communication with us about the issue made us feel ignored Instead we heard from collections trying to collect the second half of payment. Our experience was not to the professional, skilled and customer service level that we expected for the hefty price tag. If they had delivered the floor we wanted I would not have minded paying top dollar. Furthermore upon inspection of their "2 year warranty" and disclaimer they make you sign it says they are not responsible for any chipping, cracking, color variations, or white spotting. Which leaves me to wonder, what does it cover? And if you are also left with a poor looking floor, guess you are out of luck like us.
Reasonable price. Talented craftsmen did a great job. Then they thoroughly cleaned up before they left.
While their employees do quality work, the manager (Gilbert) who does your original estimate and arranges for the work is not a good communicator with the customer or his own employees. We had multiple delays in getting the floors done due to errors that quite simply should not have happened. They did not bring enough paint to do two of our rooms on one day and forgot the template for the design that was to go in front of our main entrance on another day. We also had arranged to have our Saltillo tile cleaned and polished. At the time of the original estimate, I was told they could make the bulk of the home look more like some of the areas that were already in decent condition. I was told they would not look exactly the same, but it would look quite close. After that work was done, it looked as though we had shiny worn out tiles/grout. I was told this was the best they could do with it given the age and condition of the saltillo (which might be the truth), but this should have been indicated up front, especially since they charge $1/sq ft to basically make them shinier. I could do this work myself for about $50 in sealer. In the end, the design by our front door was completed off center from the door by a significant amount (4 inches). When I brought this concern and the saltillo tile concern up to Gilbert, he did agree to redo the front room to fix the design issue, but was willing to charge me $1/sq ft again to basically come in and paint all the grout lines since they did not come clean originally. Since I wanted the tile to look better at this point and was less concerned about the design issue, I asked him to have a crew come out and do the grout lines (for free) instead of doing the front room which he agreed to. Here is the catch. He had the crew who made the mistake in the front room come out to do the grout lines even though they would never do this type of work. It is like sending someone who does roofing to come and fix your plumbing. Come to find out, he sent them because he basically told them since they messed up the front room, they had to either come out and fix that for no pay, or come do our tile work (for no pay), depending on what I wanted done more. He also was only going to have them paint the grout lines in the high traffic areas of the rooms, which I indicated when they arrived would look terrible because there would be a clear change in tone from those area to the rest of the room. The only way to make it look right would be to do all the tile. Gilbert originally disagreed until I indicated I would be filing a complaint on the final credit card charge and asked for a refund of the $1200 charged for the tile work. He then came out and looked at the tile and agreed that they should all be done, and that he would have his normal crew for such work come out and assured me those individuals would be given it as a paid job. At the end of the day, they completed work overall to our satisfaction, but they are poorly managed. After working for only 2 hours on the grout painting, they indicated they would need to stop for the day because they had only brought 4 brushes. Evidently they could not go pick up more at the local store and they had to get them from the warehouse which was across town. They assured me this was no big deal as they would be back to finish the work the next day, yet no big deal for them and no big deal for my family are two different things. Our family had to live with our furniture moved all over while the work was going on. When you do not come close to meeting your days/times, it creates a major disruption for those living in the house. I understand delays occur, but poor planning and communication are not a good reason to have such delays. I had to chase down Gilbert on numerous occasions to confirm when the crews would be coming back after they missed original dates for the work. At the end of the day, the work was completed but be prepared to have to micro-manage the manager Gilbert because his primary concern is to collect payment over all else.
I was a bit skeptical reading some of the reviews, but I took a chance on Rogos, Richard the estimator was great and stayed in communication with me about the job. We did a flagstone style concrete overlay and it turned out great. Even when I asked if they could tweak the color a bit, they accommodated us. Overall we are very satisfied with the work and service, they started the work on time and completed the job as scheduled, with no mess or splatters on my home. We will have Rogos do more projects in the future.
I had my floor's done by Rogo's and I highly recommend them for your flooring needs!! My floors look amazing! They exceeded our expectations by far and I couldn't ask for better service! Thank You Rogo's for making our home so beautiful!!!
This company is run by true professionals who care about their community. Our experience with them was first class and going beyond what most companies would do. I highly recommend them for their care and concern for their customer. Thank you SO very much!!!!!!
We hired Rojo to clean & seal our 2,888 sq ft home with concrete floors. They did not thoroughly vacuum or sweep the floors prior to applying the clear sealer. They sealed hair, particles and dust on the floors. Not happy with their work. The cost for this work was $2800.00. Would not recommend them.
Rogo's did our kitchen and dining room floors. They are beautiful! Exactly what we wanted. Thank you Steve!
Floors came out beautifully. Workers were courteous, noticed issues that I had missed, and confirmed with us several times whether we were satisfied with the color as they finished the job off. Price is right too.
We had carpet, old tiles and elevation changes for Rogo's to cover. They had the exact color we wanted, showed up on time, and did great prep work. when done the floors were beautiful. I was impressed with the clean wall lines and the corner work, all of which showed craftsmanship and care.
My Wife and I are very happy with the results of our new concrete! Richard helped us. He answered all of our questions every step of the way, including after the process was completed. Sergio and his assistant were amazing. They arrived on time EVERY DAY! He checked in with me daily to make sure the process was how we had imagined. The color was exactly what my Wife and I asked for, when we met with Richard. Finally, they finished an entire day early! Thank you to the Administration of Rogo s for making the scheduling easy and their excellent communication verifying appointments. I would totally use Rogo s Finishing Touch again in the future! Thank you!!
This used to be a wonderful "find." They did quality work and the outcome was great. We did a hallway recently and we're certainly not satisfied with the way it looked. The person who was doing the work didn't speak any English so I couldn't communicate except through fake sign language. My hunch is that if you have a big job you'll be happy with the results. If you have a smaller job, you get what you get. When I called to ask for our representative to come out and see if he thought it looked like a professional job, I got no callback. Live and learn. Guess they're getting too popular so they have to focus on the big ticket items. They're nice people. I'm just disappointed that I can't recommend them anymore.
Rogo s did excellent work on our floors and completed tasks on time inside of our tight schedule. I highly recommend them for beautiful concrete overlay work.
I had my floors done by Rogo's two years ago and I love them. My experience with Rogo's was a good one. The office staff was great and the installers were very professional and polite. I recommend Rogo's!
I injured myself on a floor that was not properly installed by Rogos. It was slick like ice. I have had 2 surgeries and am permanently injured. Rogos failed to take any blame in my injuries and was very difficult with getting the floor fixed. if you have a problem with a product from this company they may not fix the problem as in this case, until after I was injured. Thanks Rogos. Will never forget you.
If it were possible, we would give Rogo's a 10 out of 5 stars. Yes, we are that satisfied and absolutely in love with our new floors! Our home is over 70 years old and was originally outfitted with a green concrete floor. Not many had green, so we counted ourselves lucky and fortunate. Over time, however, the poor old floor (we're the fourth owners) -- after tile, vinyl, and carpet -- became unrecognizable. It was a marred and poor representation of what it used to be. Long story short: Richard, a wizard with colors, matched the ORIGINAL green PERFECTLY!!! Ricardo and Julio, true floor restoration masters, then COMPLETELY restored our floors to an emerald perfection. When R and J were finished, we were breathless! The floor gleamed...you could tell it was a proud part of the old house once again. These old homes in Tucson can gleam and shine and be beautiful once again if you know whom you can trust with this important restoration project. Rogo's is simply the best in the business; and we highly recommend them to anyone. We are in awe of what was accomplished in a perfect amount of time. Also, the crew (Ricardo and Julio) were extremely considerate, clean, and the epitome of professionalism. If you are going to restore your floors and cannot decide between concrete restoration or tile, take the time to call Rogo's and have Richard come out and inspect your floors. Rogo's makes the concrete option the only option.
Always willing to help. Even though fused about what I was talking about. Somehow, Gilbert knew how to answer the question. Was able to explain every step of the process.
Hello Gilbert and the Staff at Rogo's, We wanted to send a message to express how pleased we are with the recent patio refinish. A big thank you to Orlando and Janet!! They did a great job! They were here early each morning, worked efficiently and answered all of our questions. We will highly recommend Rogo's and the team of Orlando and Janet to anyone who is interested in refinishing their patio. Thanks again!
