Another company lost the contact for the service I need. It has been almost two years and a case worker @ Rocky Mountain Human Services has not come to my home. I asked for aid a few times and have gotten talk from the case worker. Just talk.
By appointment only, but they offer curbside pickup for EBT card replacement, have staff outside who are knowledgeable, friendly and so helpful
Okay, the Homes For All Veterans program at RMHS did keep myself and my husband in a hotel for a little over than a year, but as for the rest, RMHS has been completely lacking. For one thing, they sent my husband to Coalition for the Homeless to make some job inquiries, and while my husband did make an effort in applying for various jobs, his caseworker at HFAV was disappointed when he DIDN'T come back with a job, and just kept ragging on him even when he WAS applying for jobs left and right.
As for RMHS and my end of things...they did help me get set up with an agency who would pay my husband for being my caregiver, but the amount they're ALLEGEDLY approved to pay him by the state is a joke. Even with my SSDI we'd still have to wait to get on any Section 8 waiting list, and even then, we're not sure we'd be approved. (The homecare agency approved us for the hours WE NEEDED, but then RMHS came back and cut THAT in half, thus making it IMPOSSIBLE for us to be able to find a place.)
We did try and get housing through the HUD-VASH program, but since my husband is not a drinking, drug-abusing wife-beater with enough kids to populate a small town, we couldn't even get approved.
Needless to say, there is a LOT of blame to go around on this one. We have busted our humps doing everything they've told us, only to find ourselves paying our OWN WAY at a hotel for the past month after HFAV said they couldn't pay for our room anymore, and the other agencies we've reached out to for assistance with housing and other things have not called back at all.
I was told that I was approved for services in December. It's now mid March and no one from RMHS will return my calls, explain how the program works or why I still have no services. It's as if the whole program is a giant lie!
Today is 7/28/21 at 10 am and the receptionist has repeatedly just transferred me straight to voicemail. When I try calling back, she picks up the phone and hangs up or sends the call to voicemail. The care provider center for my dad has left messages for my dad's case manager and her supervisor and have not heard back. They cannot send a caregiver until a form is filled out and we are just trying to get a hold of the form so my dad's services can be reinstated but nobody will assist. My dad is homebound and these services are critical. Its sad that this is the level of service provided to people with disabilities and we have no choice but to take it. If you can get to a point were your services are set up then things are fine but if anything breaks or changes getting a hold of someone is a challenge. And yet they are still better than Colorado Access whom I would give a negative star if I could.
I had to call them to find out when my intellectually disabled brother was because my mom and I have not heard from him in over a month. Nobody is answering my mom s calls back and we are ready to file a missing persons report and a whatever legal charges we can against this company because they know my brother can be easily manipulated and they are doing nothing to protect him. They have not even checked on him like they are suppose to this company is a joke. Don t use them please protect your loved ones at all costs
I had long-term care before going to a nursing home afor Jefferson county I left four months later was told my long-term care Medicaid was switched over and I found out that it wasn't switched back over and I've been without in home care for over four months had a assessment two weeks ago and was told I would have a caseworker within two weeks Wich is the cap and haven't received a call and I'm doing without care this is really affecting my way of daily living there day ends at five by day never ends now I will have waited another week tomorrow Wich is Friday I just am done doing everything while waiting o.n a caseworker that never has reached out to me and I call throne who had done my assessment and her supervisor and haven't been contacted about all but I've been spending hours and daystrying to find out what was going on with my medicaid and it was them having my correct address but showing I lived in Denver that is Jefferson countys fault but I'm the one who is doing this all with trocky mountain not helping at all plus my doctor's and MRI and taking care of my self I'm in a wheelchair and having to take care of myself with no help from anyone adnd I'm just so upset with sonethi g I've been approved for just getting ignored so I'm goi g to go to a nursing home due to not getting help with playing what's going on with medicaid and no one being able to even give advice
Elisa Anne let my home care services expire because she didn't like my attitude in regards to her apathy. now hoping to to force her to do her job by escalating to her supervisor. pathetic treatment of the disabled and handicapped
Well I wanted to like this company they help ppl with Disabilities but when I call Noone will call me back ever and that's scary being there a medical care company like u should call your patients back within a week atleast but no it's been going on a month now and I called got the receptionist she forwarded me to the vm I already had called and left several messages not to have 1 returned I will be following up with there boss cause this is unacceptable for anyone
