Rockport Inn and Suites Review

This is an adorable little hotel in Rockport with nice accommodations. There are rooms on the first floor that go straight to the parking lot, which is nice. We attended for a wedding and our room ajoined with our family's so we were able to share space, we had a wonderful time!

People friendly. Nice indoor pool. Many of the rooms are park at your door.

A very nice place with very friendly staff. Our room was clean and close to the pool to enjoy with our daughter. The breakfast was simple but rich.

My stay at Rockport Inn and Suits was wonderful! The rooms are lovely and the breakfast was fantastic. It's near the water, a ten minute walk from the train, and only 20-30 minutes way from Salem. I recommend staying here if you plan on visiting the area.

Beautiful outdoor seating area. The fire pit was the perfect ending to a great day. Rooms clean and comfortable. Very close to town and eating places.

Worst purchase I have ever made. If u want your kids to swim in a dirty pool and walk around with cigarette butts all over the ground and teenagers drinking beer all time long. Hey go for it. But I wouldn't recommend this stay on my worst enemy

Very cute place with double size beds very big open space with 32 inch TV's and a microwave and refrigerator also a tennis court and inside heated pool and hot tub

Nice, clean rooms. Safe, and comfortable. Needs more breakfast options but overall a very nice place to stay.

Soft bed slept surprisingly well, but more or bigger towels would have been nice. This would have been satisfactory at $150, but all we did was sleep and shower and the bottom line was over 3.

The Rockport Inn and Suites was a great place to stay. The .6 mile walk into town is comfortable. The breakfast was convenient - toast, sausages, hard boiled eggs, fruit, tea, yogurts, waffles, juice. Nice. The workers attended to it keeping it fresh and items refilled. The room was clean and well appointed. I enjoyed they pool, the hot tub, the fire pit. The front desk workers were friendly and attentive. The flowers around the grounds were very pretty. We enjoyed our stay and will recommend the spot.

Great place wonderful pool for kids to swim in. Nice conference room and workout space. Went here for an overnight trip with the family and had a great time. The place was very clean and nice but they said they are planning to renovate the rooms soon so they will be even nicer

We stayed overnight at this motel/hotel for a wedding in Gloucester. The hotel was very clean. They had a fire pit that was nice to hang out at. I did not get a chance to go into the pool, but it looked nice. If I was every in the area again, I would consider staying here again.

The price is expensive but you can't beat the proximity to the quaint town of Rockport. The Inn has a strong sense of 70s chic. Lots of wood paneling. I stayed here 10 years ago and the place hadn't changed. The provided breakfast was better than average hotel. A little over rated because of the location but a nice place to stay.

I had a very late dinner here on the terrace overlooking the water in August 2019. The food was good. I also stayed the night but unfortunately not in the main building but across the water in another building on the 2nd floor, the room was great. It also included parking which was very handy the morning after to do some shopping in the village.

Very nice location. Had family stay here for a vacation and visited them while they were there. They had no complaints. Large grass area and tennis courts in back along with pool.

Good price for the area and nice amenities; outside area to grill, has fire pit, pool, etc. Clean and comfy beds. Room could be better cleaned of old affect of cigarette smoke.

It was good experience staying here. We loved the fireplace and hot tub. But the sad thing is that most of the rooms have separate entrances and we had to walk to and from swimming pool outside in cold weather. Also their breakfast spread was not that great: coffee, juice, cereal, yogurt, boiled eggs, bagles. The highlight was sausages, but they were salty. By the end of our breakfast we discovered that they have waffles, but we need to order them (if was NOT "make it yourself"). They didn't even have any sign for waffles. Overall OK. But next time in this area I will try different hotel.

Very very old and outdated accompanied with wet musty dog smell.
Price value way out of whack. Spend time and effort to find a different place to stay.

The rooms are very clean. We loved the fact that the room has a refrigerator and microwave. The indoor pool has a hi-tech nonslip surface. The pool was nice and warm (84 f). The free continental breakfast was great. We travel often and it is not often that we find all of these amenities. This hotel is highly recommended.

The Rockport inn and suites is a lovely establishment the service was quick and the staff was friendly a must if you're staying the night in this town

Staff was friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean and very nice. I especially enjoyed the fire pit out on the patio! Rocket Inn & Suites was accommodating of our large group of wedding guests, seeing up a room for an after party. Location was also convenient to attractions, grocery store, and Dunks.

Like visiting home, but better, the new decore is amazing, must visit again soon.

Great place for a great price and the staff is super friendly and helpful and a good size pool with a nice outside patio and fire place.

Se booked a two night stay. We arrived to our room where we where very pleasantly surprised to find a nice clean room. The house keeper had left a welcome note that I thought was very thoughtful. Our bed was confused and had a very restful sleep.
The breakfast was nice and the service was very helpful.
All in all. I would recommend the Rockport Inn to all my friends.

I have stayed in many hotels in my 35 years. I must say, the property is well kept. The rooms are great! The staff is even better!! By far the absolute best off chain hotel I ve ever stayed in. I m telling you look no further. Rockport Inn and Suites is the place to be! My hat is off to the staff. With two kids things can get stressful traveling. We actually stumbled across this place coming home from a stay at luxury resort in Boston. My entire family said I wish we stayed here the entire time . When you stay here the staff will treat you as if you were family to them. This place and the staff are absolutely amazing!! A special thanks to Lori! I hope that the owners of this property know what a great employee they have.

Iris and Jenny were superb. They directed us to a Seaport Grille....great food. They had an extra fan for the room..we like circulating air. Pool and hot tub were clean. Room was very clean. A little dust underneath the phone stand...but so what I checked the beds with a high power flash light. Good to go. Large flat screen tv. By far one of the best hotels i stayed at in a long time. And the second floor windows open. Thank you!!! Similar if not better than Disney Port Orleans Resort in terms of room size and value. I would definitely come here again. Thank you Iris and Jenny.

Nice rooms, attentive staff, aiming to please there guests.

Great room. Breakfast was a little light, the only warm food was waffles, not something I minded. Also ice was only in the main building. We were only there one night to go whale watching, it was fine for our needs! I would use it again.

Awesome all around! Very clean and cozy, will definitely be back next time we are in the area!!

Worst housekeeping. Ever. Even specific requests for housekeeping visits were ignored. My husband and I did all the cleaning during our stay- we even changed our own sheets.

Really quaint Inn. Super friendly staff and the doors to the rooms go right outside. One note I would make is there was no channel list or things to do places to eat list. Gorgeous courtyard with fireplace and the pool was open. Very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this Inn to anyone.

Room was neat, clean, and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Only needed to stayed 1 night, but would most likely have enjoyed longer if able. Continental breakfast was lacking though, which is reason for 4 stars.

The staff are lovely and very friendly. The rooms and the whole environment are clean and very well cared for. They have a very complete breakfast. The train to travel to Boston is less than 3 minutes away by car and you can park for free. It is a great place to be with children
