Rock Brook Church is a growing church located about 20 miles south of downtown Kansas City. The church is dedicated to helping individuals fulfill the teachings of Jesus Christ, as summed up in The Great Commandment and The Great Commission.
At Rock Brook Church, we believe that every person has a unique purpose and calling in life. Our mission is to help individuals discover their purpose and live out their calling through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We strive to create an environment where people can come together to worship God, grow in their faith, and serve others.
Our Vision
Our vision at Rock Brook Church is simple: To be a community of believers who are passionate about fulfilling the teachings of Jesus Christ. We believe that this can only be accomplished by creating an environment where people can come together to worship God, grow in their faith, and serve others.
We are committed to providing opportunities for individuals to connect with one another through small groups, Bible studies, and other events. We also offer various ministries for children, youth, adults, men's groups and women's groups so that everyone has an opportunity to grow spiritually.
Our Services
At Rock Brook Church we offer services on Sundays at 9:00 am & 10:45 am CST both online via our website or Facebook page as well as physically at our location. Our services are designed for everyone regardless of age or background; they include contemporary music led by our talented worship team followed by relevant messages from our pastors which will inspire you throughout your week.
We also have various programs throughout the week such as prayer meetings on Wednesdays at 6 pm CST which provide opportunities for individuals who want more time with God outside Sunday service hours.
Our Beliefs
At Rock Brook Church we believe that salvation comes through faith alone in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9). We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and that it is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
We believe in the Trinity, that there is one God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19). We also believe that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead on the third day, ascended into heaven and will return again someday (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).
Our Community Outreach
At Rock Brook Church we are committed to serving our community. We have various outreach programs such as food drives for those who are less fortunate. We also partner with local organizations to provide assistance to those in need.
We believe that it is important to be involved in our community so that we can make a positive impact on people's lives. Our goal is not only to help individuals grow spiritually but also physically and emotionally.
