I feel important when coming here. Not only do the front desk employees make you feel welcome, but the quality of this place makes you feel welcome too. I love the fact that you can go exercise and shower before you leave. Everything you need is provided; from towels, to shampoo and conditioner! Great experience so far.

God Bless!

I'm impressed with the cleanliness and luxury of this gym. I also love the wristband system. Everything from arrival to locking your locker to saving your netflix account on the treadmills is all on your wrist!

Follow up: I talked with leadership of the RAC and they were also disappointed in my experience. Very impressed with the care and concern they have shown. They have worked to make things right.

The facility is nice. Floor staff friendly. My issue with the RAC is the multiple answers I receive about the rules. When joining we were told we could complete our workout by 930pm and then have time to shower. There is multiple announcements and people patrolling so that you are out by 930. Was told when joining we could sign our babysitter up and she could bring the kids for a year. 5 months in we are told No its May to April and we need to pay again. RAC isn't cheap but there are also lots of extra costs.

I really loved the RAC. I really did. It was this great place with great people. People you would recognize all the time and have great talks with! Now it's just people who ignore you, talk bad, and have no interest. But one huge thing is that in the past years it had the OG's of the Rochester Athletic Club. The one and only old gangsters. To name a few, it had No Chin, Tan Girl, Counting Money Guy (AKA Confused Guy), No Kids Kid, and most of all, Tennis Guy. It fills me with severe sadness that these folk are forever gone. They have all been replaced. In the past half-year, I saw the upcoming of layup kids, Right of Way Lady, Cringe Kids, and Gnome Guy. Yet they aren't like the OG's. They walk around, saying things that no one understands. They interrupt my right of way and hog the basketball courts. Now even further, in the past few days, the OG, Tennis Guy, was destroyed. His home in the tennis courts was destroyed by the restructuring. He breathed in all of the harmful toxins and was pushed from his home. He now lives in a hospital. And now, with no more OG's, I had to experience Oaf Guy and Chit-Chat guy. They displayed deep disrespect for everyone around them, they hogged multiple cable machines (up to four), and they complain about others even though others aren't bothering them and they are bothering the people. Oaf Guy and Chit-Chat guy fill me with sadness. The RAC has lost all of its OG's and now has the lowest of the low unfortunately. I've lost my passion for tennis, lifting, and hooping. I am no longer a "Ball Is Life"-er.

By FAR the best gym in Rochester. Clean!!!!

By FAR the best gym in Rochester. Clean!!!!
Tons of options, Huge facility and awesome trainers and staff.

Also every time I visited during the Covid restriction they were cleaning, masking, and waiting to help if needed. Arguably the safest place in town.
