We had an awesome experience here. The host was great and they had wonderful Zinfandel and great history. It was a great start to our anniversary trip.

Our experience with Robert Biale was amazing... it all started with our tasting reservation that was set up for us on June 6, 2018 with a nice sign with our names and at a table overlooking the vineyards and mountains. Stunning. Our sommelier was Jen Lee and she did a thorough job of educating, explaining their stories, (you know the story behind Black Chicken is a good one) and giving us time to relax and enjoy the vino. Favorite of our whole trip. From the wine, views and service, this place is a hidden jam that you must visit. Bob was amazing and so personable. Ask for the story behind the black chicken and enjoy a truly relaxing tasting.

My group and I had a very nice tasting experience here today. We sat outside on a nice heated patio with a beautiful view of the vineyard. Mark shared some very interesting history of the winery with us and was very friendly. The wine is priced very reasonably as well.

Wonderful family run vineyard and winery. Salt of the earth type of people. Some of the best Zin ever!

Hard to go wrong visiting Robert Bailey especially if you are a fan of zinfandels. Our host Thomas served us 4 or 5 zins and each were outstanding. I should also note that Thomas as well as everyone we came in contact with at the winery were very friendly, knowledgeable and thus made our experience memorable.

The crew at Biale Vineyards were awesome! We had a group of 8 for a morning tasting during Premier Napa Valley and they took great care of us! The wines are fantastic.....especially the Royal Punisher! It will definitely give you the purple smile! Can't wait to get back out to visit!

THE BEST ZINFANDEL IN THE WORLD!!If you are in Napa Valley you must visit Robert Biale vineyards.Owened by a traditional Italian family. I love all their Zinfandels, but my favorite is the Black Chicken. Me and my husband visit their vineyards and winery back in 2011, and we fall in love with it. Since then we became members, everytime we go to Napa we stop there. You should book a appointment for tasting. Their people are very friendly and knowledgeable, and make you feel like you just hanging out at your back yard. Truly, that is exactly what is the experience, facing their beautiful vineyards and the hills of Napa Valley.

We loved our visit to Robert Biale Vineyards this afternoon. Jim took great care of us, and introduced us to some wonderful Zinfandels and Petit Syrahs. The vineyard is located just outside of the city of Napa, but there were tons of amazing views from the barn's back patio overlooking the hills. AND there was live music the Saturday afternoon we were there. Overall, would recommend a visit to this wonderful vineyard.

This place is amazing! We are members and love the place so much that we come to pick up our wine every time. The view is awesome and the wine is excelent! Love this place!

A very beautiful place to stop and have a tasting. The seats were outside on a patio in the shade. The grapes were only feet away from us. Our tasting guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. They also focus on zinfandel which many other wineries in napa don't do, so that was unique.

Great winery in Napa Valley. Staff was super friendly and knowledgable. I was unable to sample wine the day that I went due to an Illness but they sent me home with a complimentary bottle anyway.....great people and wine !!!!

If you like zinfandel and want to be in Napa it's your only real option. And they do a nice job of it as well.

Biale Vineyards are absolutely stunning. We had a charming evening there. Bob Biale is a gracious host and makes you feel right at home. The wine is spectacular and smooth. Also who doesn't love having chickens on the property and especially with the story behind them.

Great place! We were there during harvest season and got to see some of the process! Great wines. Great ambiance. Highly recommend

Good tasting on a classic Vineyard. Lots of history. Maybe only chance to taste some of the small Vineyard offerings of Biale as most allocations go to wine club. Surprise was the chief or Petit syrah. Lovely mocha nose

Very friendly staff serving well crafted and balanced wines. If you love Zinfandel, this is a must. Our host Alina was not only very nice, but knowledgeable.

Pristine grounds, a couple tasty wines, and a great background story from Jen, who was knowledgeable, and provided suggestions of places to go around the area. I would recommend this winery for Zin fans who want to experience a lighter taste and nice people. Thank you for a nice day, CHEERS!

Great visit, with Pat doing a great job hosting us. Elegant Zins with great acidity the essential of any great wine. The white Grecco is a very good Italian style white. Founders deep dive worth doing for enhanced understanding of the Biale wines.

Thomas was outstanding! Very nice man. Robust knowledge about Biale history and wines. Absolutely beautiful setting for tasting.

This was our first, and favorite, stop of the trip. We were lucky enough to get Tom leading our tasting. He was so knowledgeable, fun, and entertaining! He made us feel like family and even called in a reservation at another winery nearby that ended up being our second favorite stop of the trip. Biale is laid back and beautiful with excellent wine. Thank you for the stellar experience! We will be back and we will make sure Tom is there!

This was a lovely tasting experience, with great views of the vineyard and surrounding hills. I didn't enjoy the zinfandels as much as I hoped, as they are light in style and I was expecting a full bodied, heavy zin. Otherwise, the experience was lovely.

Great experience. Robert Biale was a breathe of fresh Zinfandel air in a place saturated with Cabernet tastings. Andrew was our wine tender and ensured we had a great experience. He was knowledgeable and patient answering all of our questions. I would highly recommend this winery if you are looking for an intimate, unique experience. Make sure to ask about the Black Chicken!
