My Elder sisters family lives close to the University.

Been studying here for a while. The lectures and staff are very friendly.

Went there for school treasure hunt and tour
I loved it and got inspired. I want to go there if I get a good atar and pass year 12

The photography course is one of the best in the country. Spent 2 and a half years of my life here. I like that it's in the middle of the city, so you are close to anywhere.

The professors, lecturers and staff are, in my experience, fantastic! Most of them genuinely care about their students.
A great balance of theory and practical hands-on labs, which is quite a contrast to other universities.

The organisation itself and support staff can be hit and miss: some are incredible and go out of their way to help you. Others simply don't care at all.

Overall though, I have loved my time here and would recommend this uni to anyone.

ENROLL ELSEWHERE!!! GOT BUNCH OF TERRIBLE EXPERIENCES HERE!! this place is a PUBLIC FOR PROFIT UNI. they also made the covid situation worse.

I was trying to get some information about postgraduate degrees and study options in rmit, in last 3 weeks ... I couldn't get any information .. I had a few attempt to phone call via info corner line but end up with nothing they connect one department to another .. email attempt end up with one of the web page link .. waste of time .. I think they don't need any student .. I was thinking rmit one of the best but not for me anymore sad ...

Teachers are fantastic in the "Applied Sciences(Psychology)" course. Online system is very good. Admin are amazing, RMIT connect in particular helped me a lot when getting started. Only thing i would say that i disliked was how spread out buildings were, but thats just me opinion...

WHY IS IT SOOO HARD TO TALK TO SOMEONE TO GET INFORMATION!! IT TAKES AT LEAST AN HOUR TO CONTACT THEM OVER THE PHONE!!!

A great place of study multidisciplinary subjects such as science and arts.

Lots of one star ratings on here. I have to agree. They were nothing but disorganised though my grad cert and Masters. Choose another university! Rmit will make your studies more stressful.

Absolutely the worst institution I have studied at. Been on approved leave of abscence yet they kick me out of my program I was enrolled in and don t tell me why, only tell me at the last minute when it s too late to get back in and tell me I have to pay a fee.
Trying to put in a complaint and it s like you re talking to a computer, the same generic answers and no one still will tell you why you got kicked out of your program.
Absolutely useless, wont be studying here after this, disgusting behaviour and they shouldn t even be an educational provider.

Never have experience there but I like the university.

I like it for my alma mater. I am very happy to graduate from this historic school and enter the next stage of my life. Thanks to all the classmates, teachers, and thanks to the aunt who sold SUSHI, I have eaten a lot of your SUSHI in recent years.

RMIT is a global university of Art and Design. Their Architecture department is really excellent. World class education is provided in their university with great internships and placements.

Course advisors are helpful and able to provide clear communication to assist in picking the right course.

A great university which in my course had many lecturers and teachers who had decades of real world industry experience. This allowed them to train us better for our future work environment, and as a result I think it made the transition from study to full-time work much easier.

The university is great. The teachers are fantastic but compared to other universities i think they need to work on improving their online education system. I don't think RMIT is investing that much in improving it.

does any one have completed masters in food science and technology, pls share your experience....

Really bad at teaching Embedded System. Its a wake up call for them.

Despite the obvious fact that the ratings are from RMIT staff. The Administration if beyond horrid. They don't know a thing, and they don't tell you anything. You will have no idea and they will not help you. To the point where they will lie. It's not a personal animist towards RMIT. But as far as schooling goes. You're on your own. Don't even bother.

This was the first the first university I went to since I graduated high school, it does and always will have a special place in my heart. So what if it is a little bit far away from the city. I had the best memories at this university and that will always remain the same. Thank you RMIT, I will always remember you.

Good university but their annual report states that for some reason RMIT aims to have more women teachers than men. Its kind of sexist to be honest.

You should hire teachers who are good teachers. Not looking at the gender for political attention.

Huge huge university.. buildings scattered in Melbourne cbd too

A university with an edge. Studied design here and it sure is different. You get industry experience with the Lecturers teaching you not by the conventional way.

I find this useful and you can hit the ground running once your graduate.

Terrible uni!!! Gave leave of absence after so many stages and documentation. And did not inform the dates for the enrollments and charged a huge amount on late enrolment fees. Changed more than 5 lecturers for accounting degree for a semester. Now I am completely lost with a half completed degree and only two subjects remaining. Thanks for the screw up administration RMIT !! Pls go to monash or swinburn stay away from RMIT!

Lived and breathed law for about three years in the halls of this campus. At times it was nerve wrecking but mostly practical experiences that bring life to law!

since everything went online due to the virus, some of the teachers were becoming lazy and disorganised. Yet they still expected students to deliver the same quality of work online as we were doing with face2face learning.

can anyone tell me about how is the pharmacy education ?

Overseas-connected courses have enabled more overseas people to obtain excellent education, and many people have better prospects and opportunities to play. During the graduation ceremony, we were met by professors who had come to Hong Kong to teach in person and led us to visit the undergraduate school buildings, classrooms and laboratories, so that those who could not really teach on campus could also feel the kind attention of the school.

Can someone tell me is it good or bad to study fashion designing degree in rmit uni?is there any other universities in aus better than rmit.

I wish the Heat Ventilation Air Conditioning system was better, sometimes I felt that the building need more oxygen and light when so much students study in SwotVac

Wonderful university. Staffs and teachers are great.

Overall a decent uni but the Enrolment "Support" Lab is the least helpful service. Went in to get some help enrolling in my classes, waiting nearly 20 mins only to find that the woman there knew absolutely nothing.

I can't forget my best days when i was living in Australia , studying MBA at RMIT , i went back to my country but my thoughts still there :)

Building 22 is the students services. Friendly and professional staff.

It doesn't make you the kinda skills you nned
But most the money you should pay them

I've graduated from here. Though the teaching was quite rudimentary, the service and location is great. The graduate ceremony was splendid!

Really cool uni witnessed on open day last year. I love how interwoven the campus is within the CBD. Getting into an architecture course here is my dream!

Application processing is extremely slow. Mine took 2 months, only to get rejected.

Don't apply here if you are in a rush.

Very bad quality, no student support, everything is about money, not recommended

Because im going to study my aerospace engineering in rmit it's my dream and it is specially recognised for aviation and one of the top universities in Australia

A great place to chill out and relax as well as doing work. It is always filled with students from the university. It has plenty of services, from food to showers.

Al the classics video games are all gone bring them back then the stars go up

Slow on processing the CoE, if u want to apply, go to an agent, it might be faster than applying online.

Got dumber coming here but it has nice sleeping spots

Awesome architecture of all buildings and Building 80 mainly. Good hotspots nearby. All facilities are so amazing. Let's see how it goes!
