As sad as it is I can say that I won't be going to...
As sad as it is I can say that I won't be going to applebees any more. We've been coming here since my kids were very young, a good twenty years. Always had a good time, good food and great service. Sadly the past few months it's just gone from bad to really bad tonight and now sadly I won't be back. Tonight we went in with friends, about eight of us and we were waiting for our food and along comes a cockroach crawling on the shelf in front of us. Immediately we called the manager over and he looked around with the light on his phone, didn't see it and said that's strange we usually don't have bugs. Needless to say when our food came, me,my daughter and one of our friends just wasted our meals and just couldn't get the sight of it out of our minds. Our other friends didn't let it get to them and we didn't want to cause a scene so we stayed and let our friends enjoy their meal. It's really sad, our waitress Ballie has always been wonderful, we always ask for her and this review has nothing to do with her! This has been our number one favorite place to go hang out with our friends but tonight it comes to an end. My daughter worked so hard to earn money to treat us to dinner and I feel so bad for her, she spent so much for our meals and didn't enjoy any of it. Sad ending for a place we've gone to for so many years.
