We would highly recommend Rivertown Landscapes for your landscaping needs! My wife and I moved into a house on Lake Bella Vista in August of 2019, which had a 100 of beautiful beach. Much to our surprise, by the end of September all the beach sand was in the lake due to water run-off. How disappointing! We had quotes from a variety of landscape companies and took the winter to decide. After much research, we decided on Rivertown Landscapes. The owner, Mike, reviewed the plans of putting in drains by the house and the beach. We agreed. Once it was done, it was beautiful, and I paid the bill in full. A few days later, we had a large rain and there was a huge run off by one of the steps leading to the beach, creating a trough of pea-stone from the sitting area onto the beach and a large amount of sand gone into the water. We called Mike and he came right out. After reviewing damage, he brought his crew back (on his dime) they brought in yards of sand and pea gravel to replace what was lost. They then dug two additional drains in the yard and then brought in yards of topsoil to create a small slope from the beach to these new drains. A few days after it was complete, we had another large rain and it worked like a charm! I trust a contractor that stands behind his work and will hire Rivertown Landscapes for my next landscaping project.

From the initial call, to the first visit, to the design process and final results we are over the top happy with our project. They stayed in budget, were on time with everything, and the crew was phenomenal. (I even baked them cookies twice!) We love our new outdoor space and will go to Rivertown again for any and all

Does great work! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for landscaping a new or existing home.
My recommendation is yes, with reservations . The work was well done and has proven durable, to this point, 5 years after construction. My reservations: (1) The initial estimate was beautiful. However, it overshot my stated budget by 50%. This required a nearly complete redesign, which slowed the project; (2) There are numerous locations where the plantings, beautiful tho they may be, are clearly out of scale with the location. I have slowly been relocating, or replacing, these plantings; (3) The graded slopes at the rear of the home should have been either more gradual or more terraced. The slopes are so steep that mulch will stay in place and must be replaced, annually, as a result. Overall, a good result, the front of the house has received a number of positive comments from neighbors. The back has proven much more difficult to care for, since installation.
I met Mike today for the first time in person. He's great and has a LOT of experience. The work his company has done is beautiful. If you're looking for someone to do your next project I would highly recommend Rivertown Landscapes!
