Rivertown is a great place to grab a cup of jo and relax. My first in counter with this place was my sophomore year at UNA. It is one of my favorite place to study off campus. The atmosphere is welcoming, and their coffee is great as well as there food. They also have local beer too.

I really wanted to like this coffee shop but it's way to small, the coffee is terrible, there is a haze and a smell so people know you've been there, and the service isn't great. It could be way better. It's also so loud in there you can't hear the people your with speak at all.

The best coffee shop in Florence. Young people come from high school and junior high school around, so it is the best place to make friends. The store clerk is kind and invites you to attend. Good memories. Lots of love <3 Miss y'all :)

Delicious vegetarian (+ egg) breakfast, fresh hot coffee with almond milk, and a casual, local, atmosphere. Wandering into Rivertown Coffee made me want to spend more time in Florence and NW Alabama to get a better feel for the place. Don't be fooled by their menu online - they serve food weekend mornings, too.

Rivertown is by far the best coffee shop I've ever had the pleasure of going to. This local favorite had the best quality coffee and staff that greet you as you enter, remember your order, and make it correctly and quickly every time. The only down side is I hate to travel because there isnt anywhere else that can match their quality and example.

Rivertown is always pretty busy and it isn't hard to see why. I used to go for their Caramel Frappe all the time, but recently had lunch here for the first time. I got a Turkey Pesto Panini and it was sooo good! The staff are always patient and helpful. Definitely want to go back for lunch again.

LOVE Rivertown Coffee. Such friendly staff and such a chill atmosphere. I love how the patio was added outside so now our dogs can chill out there with us while we enjoy our time there. If you haven't tried their muffins yet - you're missing out!!! They have weird ones like "chocolate zucchini" or something like that and I've never had a bad muffin there. Food is great too, the pimento and cheese sandwich is BOMB!

Rivertown is a cozy little coffee shop in the heart of downtown Florence. They offer great coffee drink choices. The drink in the photo pictured is a cold brew and tonic, and it is perfect for the hot days of summer. It's coffee, citrus, and effervescent awesomeness. Their food is always amazing as well. The atmosphere is very friendly and inviting, and you enjoy your sundries as you look out Seminary street. I highly recommend Rivertown as they represent three greatness of Florence, AL local businesses.

Excellent locally owned coffee shop with a diverse menu of breakfast and lunch items. Been at current location since 2004 so Rivertown has done a lot right. It is all about the coffee but lots of other drinks options available. I never have to wait long to order and prep time is speedy as well. Staff has always been friendly. The food menu has evolved over the years and currently very diverse. Ingredients are fresh. Expertly prepared but with a minimalist presentation...but it is all good.

The location is convenient if you're walking but parking is limited if you're driving over here. The staff are friendly and the coffee is great. Been coming here since the mid 2000s and other than being crowded sometimes and a bit slow for lunch, it's definitely a good spot to go. If you're in the area and craving some coffee definitely try them out. They have a great selection!

I have not tried the coffee so I'm not totally in the position to give a review. Still, I have sat in here and read a book so I guess I'll just be reviewing the atmosphere. Anyways, the employees are some down to earth and respectful people. And there's outlets here so you can charge your phone. And it's quiet enough to read about anything. So I recommend you give this place a visit

Rivertown coffee is like wrapping up in a comfortable blanket on a cold winter night. Relaxing, welcoming, perfect. A lot of talent people put their soul into what they do there and the coffee is awesome.

This is the kind of coffee house that other coffee houses should aspire to be. Friendly staff that are eager to provide suggestions and recommendations, stellar food that is light yet super filling (I personally recommend the turkey pesto panini), and the kind of atmosphere that resonates with tranquility makes this a superb location for lunch and breakfast. The coffee even takes it a step beyond your commonplace coffee house chain as I actually wanted to have more than one cup after having my first. I wholeheartedly advise stopping by here if you're in the area and need a place with great food and great people involved with making the experience an amazing one.

Without a doubt these guys think outside of the box when it comes to coffee. The coffee is always fantastic and delicious. The food they serve is creatively nutritious and without a doubt a treat for your taste buds. If you have never experienced their breakfast or lunch delights, please take the time to be overwhelmed by creative food full of flavor and extrodinary coffee.

At breakfast, grab a bran muffin (chocolate chip on Friday) and a straight up coffee. For sandwiches, tomato and egg is the way to go. For a At lunch, for the best experience, call ahead, let them know you're there, seat yourself, enjoy, and take your plate to the counter when you're done. Every sandwich is good. Ask for the daily specials; there's often an amazing one time only soup or salad. Tacos on Wednesday. At dinner, grab a $1 off beer and a beef or chicken burrito with a side of yummy chips.

The coffee is pretty decent and the staff is friendly but the real treat here is in the hipster watching. You'll be hard pressed to find another watering hole in Florence that attracts more.
