Took my grandchildren for a swim. Only to discover that unless you are doing swimming lessons, you are confined to a VERY small area. Surely swimming lessons could be conducted Monday to Saturday and leave Sundays for families to use the complete facility. Rude that you are expected to pay full entry fee and then unable to use the facilities fairly.

Amazing place to spend the day or even half the day. Different pools for different skill levels, there is a 50m pool a Bombie pool and a recreational pool. There is a cheap cafe and a water slide for only $3. All in all a amazing place to spend time. Really fun.

Attended our two year old Grandsons birthday with a large number of family members enjoying all the grand children playing happily...unfortunately our celebrations was cut short by an overly zealous staff member had an issue wuth her bikini top...insisting that it must be a bra because it had an underwire...very bad attitude very argumentative and abusive unwilling to admit that the issue was not actually on the rules they had displayed...very sad and unfortunate end to an otherwise awesome day

The Riverton Leisureplex has a children's pool, main pool, a rehab style pool which is also used for parent and baby classes, a full gym with every piece of equipment you can think of as well as a free weights area. There are also spaces used for aerobic style fitness classes and a sauna and steam room.
The swim teachers here are very good and the classes are small and very well organised.
The gym equipment is all very modern and well maintained and clean. There are always staff on hand to help you with any questions.
There is a Cafe in the centre which serves a good variety of hot and cold food and drinks and ice cream, it has a small alfresco area between the Leisureplex and the library which is just next door.
There is lots of parking at the Riverton Leisureplex with a huge car park and bus parking bays for school groups.
Weekday afternoons are very busy with children's swimming lessons and some areas of the pool are closed off for this. There is always walking lanes available in the smaller pool, which are always popular.
There is a single water slide at the centre which shoots you into the plunge pool next to the main pool. This slide and pool is not always open so it may be best to check before you head there.

I am writing to let you know that you have no reasonable plan for having a exercise lane in your pool. Is that correct that exercise lane is not important for your management system?
Apparently, as one of your manager told me having an exercise lane is not your periority!
I suppose you don't care about all group of people equally!
Even when I came early morning (7 am) today there were only 2 free lane for slow and medium swimming.
Please respet people like me who require an exercise lane.

Busy.

We went on a Thursday late afternoon. The pool wasn't too full and kids had a great time.

The water temperature was just right. There was a group of young boys playing rough and being silly putting other kids, including themselves, in danger, and the life saving team promptly removed them from the pool.

After swimming we stopped by the Middle Week Eaters next door. There was a nice day.

Reception are always friendly and helpful. Usually don t have an issue besides the occasional band aid and hair which is unfortunately unavoidable at most pools.
Sunday morning maybe not the best time to visit.
Women s change rooms were closed at 7:30am.
Asked the life guard if the water fountains work.
Two life guards radioed thru to have them turned on.
Was there for two hrs and still no water coming out of fountains (life guards should have followed up)
Sand on bottom of pool.
Nose discharge (boogy) stuck on the wall in the whirlpool.
Very disappointing today, especially since it was my granddaughters first visit

Enjoy the aquatic facilities for lap swimming exercise in the 50m pool. It can be very busy at times with squad training putting pressure on the public lanes when they are reduced to just two lanes creating over crowding. The attendants don't actively encourage people to select the appropriate speed lane, which are well signed, for their swimming ability. Slow, Medium or Fast. Otherwise a good experience.

Great gym setup with modern cardio, weight machines and free weight area.
Everything a gym enthusiast needs to do a workout.
Sauna, spa and standard pool area are part of the building too.
The gym setup is also linked to Cannington Leisureplex if you need location variety.

I tried out the gym and sauna/spa area for the first time. I found the gym area to be great, broad range of equipment which was decently looked after even if some of the gear looked a bit older from some flashier gyms. A separate cardio section with a lot of bikes and looks like classes run in them too.

The sauna/spa area had a well lit steam room (nice layout although the steam was not very hot at first unless someone used water to cool the thermostat to start it up) but once heated it was what you would expect.
The dry sauna (dim lighting) was great in terms of size/layout and heat at 80 Celsius. Spa was a nice size and they also had a large luke-warm rectangular pool to soak in.

The only downside (personal opinion only) and this is to most leisure centres (so cannot soley blame this Leisureplex) is that there was no cooling off outdoor pool or cold shower (other than typical rinse off showers).
Have only ever found one place which does that and it's the only reason why I can't give the place 5 stars - considering the health benefits going from hot to cold. I am surprised more places do not do this.

Tiverton Leisureplex has both gym and swimming pool.
The gym is fully equipped with all sorts of treadmills, presses and other fitness equipments.
There are 50 meter swimming lanes and there are 8 of them from slow to fast.
There are also 25 metre walking lane, training lanes and a children's play area.
There are lifeguards constantly patrolling the pool.

The only reason why i even give them a star was because they were open and its compulsory. they blocked all the swimming pools for those people who have booked and paid more money than the normal membership. all the lanes on left and right are taken up for premium membership. only three lanes left in the middle are available. These actions are very inconsiderate. All they care about is money rather than there customer service. None of the shower stalls are available for the sauna people until May, you have to go to the swimming pool area to shower. Therefore you cannot change or take a shower after sauna. very shameful facility run by the council providing abysmal service. This is the only gym that closes at 8:30 pm, all the other gyms close at 9:00 pm .There number one priority is not the customer but rather money.

Went there the other day and even tho the whole complex is very clean and up to date, I had problems finding the right place I had to be. I had to call the main desk to get directions to where I needed to be. The pools look fantastic so I will be returning at a later date soon.

I'm not actually sure why you guys get less than 4 stars ! I'm heavily pregnant and take my little boy here at least once a week, between the cafe ladies and the front desk people everyone is lovely to us, it's clean and there is always a sweet life guard that respond to my little boy (he's ultra friendly and likes to say hello 3 or 4 times) it's such a nice place to be able to take my little guy and hopefully his little brother soon.

Keep visiting there for several years, it s a great place for summer fun. But it took one and a half year for my child to pass swimming stage 8 which upsets me a lot in both way financial and time consuming. Some teachers there didn t correct your moves during the class and failed you in the final test because your posture/moves were wrong.
