Great looking campus! First time visiting and noticed it's a great blend of older architecture in some of the buildings and newer more modern use of contemporary materials, bringing it to the 21st century.

Originally, Riverside City College was Riverside Polytechnic High School, one of the largest high schools in the country. As a technical high school they had a complete automotive school, carpentry and woodworking school, life science department, in addition to general education programs. Contrary to their brochure, The entire campus was devoted to high school curriculum and did not transition to college academics until 1965. I attended Poly High for my Freshman and Sophomore years 1961 to 1962. Bobby Bonds, of MLB fame attended there at the same time.
EVERYTHING is confusing!
-Register online- oh but not on your tablet or cell phone, and you won't know till to keep calling 50 times since there's no error online.
-Can't register if you don't have counseling...oh but you can't get a counselor until far after registration is due and school starts
-Slow response if any, nobody answers phones and email responses are weeks away.
-can't buy parking permit until school starts! How dumb is that! You can't buy it up front and then surprise....you have a ticket now! You have to rush to buy it afterwards.
-All procedures are disorganized horribly.
-Signs on campus says viator parking but then small letters by permit only.

I got my Covid vaccine there.

Clubs - no anime club but the reason why they're non existing is quite understandable , president's and vice presidents are okay in my experience
Classes- used to been hard to look for at first but it's easy to remember the buildings one you explore
Students/fellow class mates - depends on the person
Professors- depends on the person
I can't express in words the beauty and elegance just the architecture provides, let alone the wonderful people you encounter there. I didn't see nor meet one negative person, everyone was all smiles and hospitality.
Have been calling this school for weeks now about getting my transcripts and NO ONE IS ANSWERING EVEN IN THEIR "OFFICE HOURS." I already left half a dozen voice messages over a month ago and no one calls back ever. Shows how little they care for their students if they don't even want to answer phone calls. Called while it was fall too thinking they might be busy but nope they just don't want to answer. I wonder how many other students they failed to help since they are not answering. This is when the school should be more present but this has got to be the worst experience of school help I had gotten and I had attended three. 0 or negative stars if I could. Anyone looking to attend I recommend looking somewhere else.
