The park is envisaged as an extension of Gandhiji s Sabarmati Ashram, across the river, providing a serene and contemplative backdrop to the Ashram and maximising this vista. Simultaneously, it also compensates the much need of park for Shahibaug-Dudheshwar neighbourhoods. The park has been designed to meet the needs of a diverse range of people.

Pretty dirty. I agree that the government has made a beautiful riverfront for people to enjoy but people don't deserve it I guess. The amount of trash that's lying around on the pavement is pitiful.

No amount of cleaning or swachh bharat mission can teach the people to not throw trash everywhere.

Also, hardly anyone was wearing masks. That's a another sad story. Just shows how irresponsible, selfish and careless people are.

It's the best place for walks and jogs, cyclings, and other outdoor games can be played here.

Enjoy the cool breeze while you meditate and yoga posters. Good place for photography as well.

great initiative by Government, improvements are happening over the time and that has turned this place into a must visit place specially at night

Just concrete and water in river. Poor maintenance. Full of beggars and homeless.

Could have been cleaner. With a cycle or jogging track, plants and flowers all around, it could have become a place of attraction rather than fake publicity only.

One can walk around but it is too much like walking between walls and water. Entry to riverfront in itself is quite cumbersome. One has to cross roads full of heavy traffic to reach the place.

It is a nice place to visit. As it it alongside of sabarmati river many water related activities are provided like boating, steamer, etc.. Beautiful gardens are also a point of attraction.

Amazing place for relax. The view at Sunset or sunrise is bueatiful. River front is really clean and developed.
