Ritz-Carlton Montreal Review

Im a Gold member from Mariott BonVoy, stayed at all their hotels, most mid-tier, but I was expecting a lot more from the Ritz Carlton brand, I stayed in a Jr Suite, the room was nice but the Bed was AWFUL!! So hard I woke up the next day with back pain. The Holiday Inn's have better beds. Not staying there again, worst sleep ever.

Tea was amazing, great lush comfy seating plenty of area If u reserve ahead. Excellent experience definitely. Wash rooms were lovely too

Great hotel, top quality and services, pretty much the most expensive in town. If you stay here, make certain to go to its restaurant, Maison Boulud, the chef owner is world renowned.

Such a nice atmosphere. Staff members are professionals.

Was at the Ritz for the F1 weekend. A trully 5 star experience.

Beautiful perfect hotel that justifies the price, only issue was that we found an open soda bottle in the fridge that was discusting, everybody in the hotel is super nice

Just went there for drinks. Service was fantastic though some the cocktails leave something to be desired.

Dinner at Maison Boulud restaurant, impeccable service, courteous and fast. Excellent food, very chic place, comfortable and high quality!

Pretty average for a Ritz. Rooms are recently refurbished (light and attractive) but on the small side. Convenient location. Service is pleasant but standard, not over the top or going out of their way to accommodate.

Decent service in a crowded place (I got my drink in a timely manner but we waited almost 15minutes after -- with one reminder for my sister's beverage).

The crowd is varied from Habs fans fresh from the game to business men/women, and the snacks at the bar are delicious!

My Manhattan was made perfectly and my second beverage (didn't catch the name, just saw others with it and asked for one) was a piece of art.

There could be some better security however as I didn't expect to run into people clearly doing drugs in the bathroom (and the man who shouted in to warn them that someone was coming didn't help my case on this matter).

AMAZING, beautiful views and such friendly staff. Our stay was such an amazing experience and will definitely be staying there again. I wish I could give 10 stars because it was that amazing.

The rooms had huge bathrooms and the resturaunts were awesome! I think I might go to the Ritz-Carlton in Waikiki Beach.

Very chic place! Exquisite gourmet food and friendly, knowledgeable waiters.
I was never informed that car parking and valet service had a price ... but hey ..

Simply a stunning hotel through and through. Our room was beautiful, I did not want to leave! Well done here.

Attended the afternoon tea service and was not disappointed! We had a few options for seating and opted for the fancy large green chairs that you sink into. The selection of teas was what you'd expect, I recommend the vanilla black tea. The scones, sandwiches and desserts were great. Service was always available and helpful. Will definitely be going back!

I went there for prom. It was a great experience. The food was very good and the personel very useful.

Great downtown location, not too far from the center of town. Very polite and helpful staff. Great restaurant too.

The afternoon tea service included small but tasty treats. Unfortunately, a band was rehearsing in the next room, drowning out our conversation. The staff made no attempt to improve the situation. The service was ok otherwise, but not what I expected from an expensive hotel. Overall, the experience was mediocre and definitely not worth the premium price tag.

Truly outstanding customer service (graciously accommodated a very early check-in request and even gave me an upgrade). Luxurious room with a heavenly bathroom! My go-to Montreal hotel.

Service was fantastic. The head waiter Olivier was very professional. One or two of the assistant wait-staff were a little green, but they did a decent job. We did the chefs tasting menu and they were able to accommodate an allergy with one of our party without issue. I would recommend this establishment to anyone seeking fine dining and a lovely view of the garden and duck pond.

Nice enough but not worth the price. Nice bathrooms but the room itself is more 3.5 star

Attended for the Lasalle Hospital Foundation fundraiser. The place was 5 star the whole way through.

I strongly recommend the Ritz Carlton Montreal. I was lucky to choose this hotel for my honeymoon. The service and the accomodations were as expected: First class. The staff is very friendly and efficient and they surprised my wife and I with a warm welcome. Thank you Ritz Carlton Montreal! Next time We come to Montreal we definitely come back to your hotel.

Had high tea with my friend and was very disappointed in the welcome and service we received. Waited to be seated even though the wait staff was not occupied, our plates were never taken away, and I had to get up to ask for the check as no one came to see us after the initial service. I have very high expectations of the Ritz and this did not meet my standards. The food was delicious but the service completely lacklustre.

My girlfriend had went for tea time and absolutely adored it. The entire experience was something else and well worth the price. You get your own teapot and a decent selection of pastries.

It's a very nice and classy hotel. Was just there for food, but was indeed a very elegant hotel. The experience was great!

Fantastic experience! We went for a kosher catered engagement party and it was fabulous. Great place to hold an event. Amazing service, the waiting staff was very professional and friendly. On the back terrace, you will find a beautiful pond with white ducks and nice greenery. Thank you for an amazing night.

For the spa, the funny thing is that depending on who you care for, the quality of care varies. At this level of standing, I expect a service of equal level. But I recommend globally.

This hotel is incredible! The whole building looks amazing inside and out, the food here is great, and the service is so good they people working at the main desk remember your name, the food here is also great too! this place is incredible, would definately come back! 5 stars for sure!
