Rissio’s (Italian Restaurant) Review

Fantastic food, atmosphere, and friendly staff as always.

Great service, going earlier than usual for dinner (5 PM vs 6:30 PM). It does get very busy but the wait staff does hustle! We dine here often...everything is good, from pizza, to pasta, to meat/chicken/seafood entrees. It's all good! Also a full bar/beer/wine, & yummy desserts. Enjoy!

Been eating at Riccio's for Decades! It is like fine wine as it has truly gotten better with age. Best Pizza in the area.

The Tiramisu was delicious. We Oder Greek pizza. The olives was a little salty, but I like it. The restaurant was full on Friday, so is better to reserve in advance. I like the atmosphere and music in the restaurant. It s reminds me Italian restaurants that I love.

Unfortunately, a recent takeout order containing calamari arrived undercooked. I broiled it to get more color and crispness, but heat was not long enough to kill off parasitic eggs. I became very ill for many days about a week later , which is a typical incubation period. Also, garlic knots lack garlic. Need much more garlic.

We came at restaurant open time on Weekend. Not full but did have snot did it seven other tables. Kept bringing rolls uncooked on inside and took forever to get. By time meal came the bread problem and wait sort of a downer of while meal. Full on bread they finally got to us and extra sauce my bf requested he never got. Embarrassing since it was an Xmas dinner combination thank you gift to two neighbors who pet sit for us.

italian food and the atmosphere here is super good. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable.

The food is so good! I get take out and the people that answer are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the chicken parm!!

I always come grabbing some food in this place. I enjoy the quick customer service and well made dishes. Kudos.

Service was good, nice atmosphere, but their chicken parm is mediocre

I ordered their meat lasagna a few times and there was pasta layered this time there were only a minuscule portion of pasta with a bucket of sauce ricotta cheese and parmigiana cheese. A true let down when I have been a frequent customer. So to all you out there DONT ORDER THE LASAGNA!!!!!!!!!!!

Everything I've had here is great, but I go for the pizza and garlic knots. So good!

Its a beautiful cozy restaurant for dine in, but sometimes they only have one waitress so its like you have to wait your turn to ask for something. The pizza is delicious for dine in, makes it worth the wait, but its not the same for carry out.

All home made dishes except cor Ravioli. Braco excellente!!

Great local Italian restaurant in the south Charlotte area. Food is excellent and they have a good variety. We routinely make the trek from Huntersville to dine here. However, the service can be hit or miss. The servers are not bad, I think they are just overworked. Other than that, everything else about Riccio's is great!

I have never had a bad experience dining in or ordering take out. Both food and service are ALWAYS EXCELLENT! My daughter and her friends also eat there often and have the same excellent experience (their age ranges are 21-25).

The chicken Alfredo or any Alfredo dish is cooked to order and they are not skimpy on the Alfredo sauce, noodles or chicken. The shrimp looked amazing and the house stand said they were some of the best! They far exceed Olive garden version of Italian food and I love Olive garden too, but this place is amazing! They sample the wine if asked and/or give great guidance on choosing one. While I did not try their pizza or salads, both looked delicious and very fresh ingredients. Staff are very on cue! It is in a somewhat residential area, so it may be a little difficult to find at night, but certainly worth the find!

Wonderful family owned restaurant. The garlic knots before your meal are to die for and the food from classics to specials is delicious! My family has been going to Riccio's for 30 years and enjoyed it every time!

The looks were amazing, but the food was just okay.

Not impressed. Food wasn't seasoned well, and lasagna noodles were not done.

The hidden Italian gem of charlotte. You will enjoy the food. The pizza never disappoints for our families pizza night either.
