Ripon medical center Review

Brought my dad to emergency room, got in very quickly, started working on him just as quick which was wonderful! The doctor on call was the worst I have ever had to experience, absolutely no bedside manner ( dad has dementia) and basically was calling me a liar. The only reason I gave a 1 star is because he made the great call to send him to Waupun Memorial. I have usually had great experiences at this hospital but if I come across this doctor again I will be leaving St Agnes in Ripon

Was inpatient a few months ago. The Nursing staff was Awesome! They never made me feel like I was bothering them. My Dr. however was quite condescending & rude. The kind of Dr that talks at you. Lastly, I would like to give Kitchen & their staff a HUGE 5 stars. My daughter was in there 3 years ago & the food was awful. Thankfully my experience was a million times better. :)

2 yrs ago.. I broke my hip and I was well taken care of.. nurses were good,, food was good.

Love the patience with Dr. Gauthier. He's always helping me with any questions I have. However I agree with previous statements that while a patient in the hospital for a stay. The food does suck.

The incompetence of the doctors and staff there is unbelievable. They do everything and anything to make money and not help the patient, not to mention their insistence on using heavy narcotics instead of actually figuring out the issue. Fentanyl is not the solution for everything.

My father stayed here just over a year ago. He was very well taken care of in their ICU and then in his private room. The nurses and doctors were incredible. They explained every process and answered all our questions in easy to understand ways.

I am completely disgusted with how my 4 year old son was treated in the ER. We brought him in with flu-like symptoms, he was lethargic, not eating/drinking, etc. As soon as we get in a room, we were informed that this was not a reason for him to be visiting ER. We told them that the reason we brought him into the ER was because we could get him in to his normal pediatrician, we did get my daughter into the pediatrician as she was being seen as he was in the ER. My daughter was sent to the lab immediately to be tested for multiple things and was cared for very well by Dr. Lyke and her team. My son, however, was treated very differently despite being far worse off than my daughter. After a very long wait time, they refused to test him for anything and just said he had pink eye and a cold. I asked for him to be tested for flu and was told even if he does have the flu, what can we do and he just has to wait it out like people did before modern medicine . The nurse then proceeded to wake my son out of his sleep and put his coat on as he is whining for me, she then continues to lecture MY 4 YEAR OLD to drink more water. Absolutely disgusting. After leaving, I get a call from Dr. Lyke s office and told them what happened and they went ahead and prescribed my son with something to treat the flu since my daughter tested positive for it. I have never had such a horrible experience at a hospital before. Dr. Lyke and her team are absolutely wonderful and they are the only reason I would return to Ripon medical center but never again will I return to their ER department.

Very nice and knowledgeable staff. Clean, open and comfortable. Does not offer all services, a little more than the basics but have to go to other locations for some services. Hard to get an appointment but every place is having those same issues...playing catch up. Overall good experience and I would recommend and personally would not go anywhere else.

Although her heart specialist told her to go because she was afraid of a blood clot. The on call Dr. Was rude and did not do what the speaclist asked for. This Dr. Is rude and very Unprofessional
