Ripley's Believe it or Not is delightfully tacky. A great way to kill an afternoon with kids. They have five separate exhibits. I would've enjoyed my experience more if I didn't feel like I was "nickeled and dimed". We bought the Groupon online for $13 per person. When we arrived, we were told that is for one attraction only. They have combo tickets inside for $36.99. I would've paid that if I could transfer credit but no such luck.

We only visited the wax museum which was fantastic. Had a great time with a few good laughs. But their pricing structure needs work.

Our first time here, we had fun but the staff seems confused as to what they should be doing. One problem we ran into was the scanner for the tickets do not always seem to work. It was time consuming

I enjoyed it quite a bit. I wish they did the teacher promo for more than a month. We don't get many things for free and we would enjoy it. I didn't get to do everything but it was a great outing. Everything was clean and taken care of. I would visit again.

Had a great time here with the kids. Don't take them through the scary section I exited with mine as soon as we walked in the scary part.
You'll know it's the scary part.
Would have done the hand wax dipping of we had more time.

The size of the building is deceiving it s much larger than it appears. Admission can get pricey, so we decided to see only two of the exhibits the odditorium and the wax museum. Ripley s is interesting, especially if you take the time to read all the displays. The information about Ripley himself, as an illustrator, writer and collector of oddities in very interesting as is a display of a person who spent years trying to dispel Ripley s collection. My ten-year-old granddaughter liked the display about the red headed explorer and his shrunken head. My thirteen-year-old grandson really liked the wax museum hall of horrors. It was too scary for his sister, though. Super nice staff when my granddaughter lost her ticket to the second attraction. They provided a quick, no-hassle solution with a smile. Great rainy day place save time for reading. Ask for the senior rate if you qualify. It saves a couple of dollars.

We had a lot of fun! A bit pricey for what you get.... definitely look online for specials! Staff was great! Hubby lost his ticket (GO FIGURE!) and they replaced it immediately! Everyone was super helpful no matter how busy they were!

I didn t go in with high expectations but I had a blast. There was so much to look at and see! We did the full pass. The only disappointment was the laser room. It s not worth it.

We probably spent 4hrs checking everything out. The wax museum had so many different displays to look at.

I did the Odditorium and the Wax Museum. Really really enjoyed the Odditorium a great deal; lots of fun and interesting stuff to see and do: 5 stars. The wax museum was meh. Although the photo opportunities were good, I found the figures to be inauthentic-looking, although the wax museum was well maintained, and the haunted house was fun.

Yawn! We just visited the Wax Museum and it was very disappointing. The separate section of wax figures related to horror movies was the best part. We are interested in seeing the other four attractions.

We visited Ripley's this afternoon (December 31, 2018). I was afraid of what I might find, having read several bad reviews before our visit. It was very enjoyable! We had a wonderful time! I am 52 years old, and I brought my son (16) and daughter (18) with me; this was our first time to visit the Ripley's in Grand Prairie. I purchased our tickets online for all five attractions. The total cost was right around $90. I would highly recommend it! Very interesting and fun! We spent about 4 hours total... and I was impressed with all there was to do and see.

It was ok. We used a groupon code which made it better for my family of 5! Gets crowded in the museum. It's kind of warm in the Mirror Maze. Enjoyed it but may not return. My kids are over it

Absolutely Entertaining!!!!

Absolutely Entertaining!!!!
Loved every part of this exhibit! Steven and Rachel saved the Day! I did not realize that my Groupon expired 1 day before went. I was not prepared to pay the full amount especially after already purchasing from Groupon. They realized how bummed out me and my son were after the expiration of our tickets was brought to our attention and Rachel saved the day by allowing us access into Ripley's with our purchased Groupon tickets. It truly is entertaining!

It was fun for the 7D ride. Zombies survival and creatures at a junk yard. The odditorium had very unique things to see! Some we're very surprising! Ride was a little expensive but if you do a 2 way pack or higher can save you a few bucks. Also I did not try the laser maze or mirror one and maddam toussard wax thing. Those did seem fun as well.

Awesome tourist spot! The museum was pretty long and the Groupon we got ($12 + $5 for extra attraction, we chose the wax museum) was super worth it. Perfect vacation stop or date around the city! Will visit again for sure.

Really cool experience! Everything was fun. Staff is pretty friendly. I feel like everything was pretty worth it except the laser race, that one was kinda boring. Its just a box with lasers and only 2 people at a time. But expect to be in here for 2-3 hours if you're planning on doing all the attrations.

If you're in Grand Prairie then you should visit this place. I took the tour. Not bad but not great. Wax figures have always been an oddity to me. I think the place could use some new attractions because what they have seems to be a little outdated. But overall I think it was somewhat entertaining. Like I said...worth the visit.

Awesome entertainment! We paid for Ripley's Oddities and the wax museum and both were a great time.

We were excited to see the wax museum had a haunted house! The bridge in the spinning room lit purely by black lights was a LOT of fun. The haunted portion had a lot of black lights so it was definitely a unique experience throughout. The two of us (my teenage daughter and I) spent almost two hours in the wax museum/haunted house. Something I would definitely pay for again.

Ripley's Oddities was quite educational and shocking in some cases. It was definitely a good time.

The staff are friendly and seemed to enjoy working there.

I highly advise against the 3D moving theater. I went to one two years ago in Branson, Missouri and my 27" tube TV in my garage from 20 feet away has more entertainment then that joke of a ride.

Expensive and short lived :( it was so busy the Saturday evening we went. Employee was using a note pad to write down what people wanted in the line...I guess to move it along, but all it did was waste the employees time because I could have just told the cashier what we wanted instead of handing her a piece of paper ? Anyway the wax exhibit was great and what I wanted to see anyway. I got a lot of photos even though there were quite a few people. I really liked the haunted house portion of it too even though I was really spooked. For the price it was ok.

Nothing like the website. This place is so out dated even the was statues were unrecognizable. The staff are teens who themselves told us they were bored and sleepy. No food court. Over priced for 5 minutes in the mirror attractions. I would not return.

Super fun for the whole family! 3 and under may not enjoy as much but my family had a blast. So much to do and see. They sneak in some education amongst the fun. They have huge wax museum, the Ripley walk-through where you learn lots of cool stuff (very entertaining), laser maze-works for any age kid, a horror maze (be careful with little ones here-my 8 year old got a little scared), 4-D theatre, mirror maze (challenging but not too difficult, very fun) and a good assortment of things to purchase in the gift shop.

Been coming here for years about once every 2 years and it's still awesome! The wax figures mostly don't look like the people they are supposed to but it's still a great time and the kids love the odditorium and everything else! Go on a weekday it's almost always empty
