Built this "place" in early 70's , working 16 hour...
Built this "place" in early 70's , working 16 hour days... 6am till 10pm... with Frazer and Chalmers Construction.
No happy memories.
Lost everything , Passport , Bankbooks , All possessions , when a buddy I shared a 2 man caravan with , in the desert , left a cigarette burning on his table , ...... and the caravan burned to the ground.
Leaving me with nothing but the work clothes I stood in.

There is an inexpensive bus tour from Swakopmund Museum to Rossing Mine every Friday or Saturday. It lasts a half a day and well worth to take. Prepare to be breath-checked for alcohol on arrival.
