Lots of fun at the Rio Bend RV & Golf Resort. Great food and activities.
Lots of fun at the Rio Bend RV & Golf Resort. Great food and activities.
Shady RV sites. Had a bar & restaurant on site. Food was ok and entertainment stops by 10 pm so not a problem.
We checked in at 6 PM on a Wednesday. Ther security guard took photos of our set up and credit card and told us that we would have to pay tomorrow. Then the next day we got aggressive knocking saying we weren't allowed at the camp ground. The very rude guard, Rick, told is our camper (2006 colman pop up) wasn't allowed in the camp.
This place is crazy expensive as well. We wanted to do laundry and shower after a long trip, to do do laundry you need to buy a 5.00 card, which you dont get your money back. Then load money on it, the smallest amount it 10.00. There were loud planes all morning and dogs barking too. Total rip. So rude. I wouldn't reccomend to anyone.
Nice place, but sites are close together.
Front desk help great!
Great place. Quiet and excellent pricing, views, and people.
Pros: Nice park, friendly, good sized sites, nice pool, Friday Fish Fry, Tues & Thurs Texas Holdem, Sat entertainment night. The 9 hole Executive course is not easy for a 9 hole, has several par 4's and one par 5. It's well maintained, and the pro shop is very friendly and accomodating. Multitudes of BC and Alberta plates :)
Cons: Laundry requires a $5 card plus machine fees - no coin machines. This is OK if you are long term, but too expensive if you are only here several days as we were. Military jet noise can be disturbing, but no worse than continuous train noise like many other parks.
Great park with a lot of amenities. Friendly staff! We enjoyed our stay!
This is a nice rv park. 55 & over, yet there are a lot of activities here, at least it seems that way the couple of days I've been here. No activities in the springs & summer season. The setting is nice. Some spaces are small, especially the pull-thru. The thing I like the most is it is outside of town and not right next to the highway, therefore it is repetitively quiet except for the military planes & helicopters that fly over all the time. Being the California desert, it's hot for April, but that has nothing to do with the park. The pool & spa are nice to cool off. If you like golf, they have a nice course here. It's not the friendliest place. The grounds are well kept. A bit pricey, but it's still California.
This is a gorgeous, friendly, clean park. Lots of ammenities.
Enjoyable place to stay. Friendly people, pond with geese and ducks, nice view from golf course.
Just spent 4 months at Rio Bend. What a great experience, lots to do. All kinds of activities for all the snowbirds. The people from all walks of life and all over the Northern Hemisphere are what make the park a real friendly place. Cannot wait for fall to come so we can make our way back down.
This place amazing food .. I mean it when I say its fresh and absolutely tasty. Great staff and they're so friendly.
We haven t been there for three winters but when we were there the place was beautiful. Their prices are high but all of California is.
Its all here !!! Gym 'heated pool and Jacuzzi, volleyball sand courts. Nice bar with gas fire pits , resurant daily entertainment...ECT........
First impressions was fantastic. The staff go out of their way to help you and the area is beautiful. There seems to be something to do every day. There are heaters around the bar area by the pool and is very nice. The internet is better than other parks and you can do a bit of streaming movies as well. They need to post clearly the pool, bar and restaurant hours as it was a little confusing.
Could do a Maint on the gravel pass thru sites. Extra gravel needed and one of the threads on the water is unusable. Would be nice to see a concrete slab in the pull thru s like the other backing.
Flies were every where. Not sure where they are coming from but maybe the sites need to be fumigated or something. No it s not our garbage.
They offer cable service with a cable box but it may not work and if you ask them they tell u to call spectrum. Service call takes 3-4 days. The site may not be hooked up. Here is a hint. Ask for site 2 or 3 we already got Spectrum out to fix the problem. Don t know about the others.
Being a retired 18yr cable installer for Shaw Communications in Canada you need to call spectrum and have them hook up the sites so that the boxes work. Plus some of the fittings and cable are rusty and old. Mine was replaced by spectrum but only on a service call.
The pool area is really nice but needs umbrellas around the edge by the lounge chairs when it s hot.
Overall this resort is one of the nicest and would stay year round here if we needed too. They are at the top of our list. Good job running this resort.
Had a really nice time with my family this last weekend. Rio Bend had a variety of activities that were well supported and promoted by staff and management which made for an enjoyable experience.
Great RV Park. ..Lots of amenities. ..reasonable prices. .
