I agree with Bob Smith. Going to Ridgewood High School were the worst 4 years of my life. Ridgewood is a TERRIBLE town to live in for education. They try hiding the truth about their education, but I am here to tell you the dark secrets of Ridgewood Public Schools.
The Ridgewood administration are one of the worst, biased, and racist group of administrators I have ever met in my life. My grades were good, but my "disciplinary issues" were a problem. I was suspended to asking the teacher a question, and that teacher thought I was being a "smart-ass" (I quote) and reported me to the administrator's who quickly suspended me.
You have been warned.

My husband I were desperate to find a better school system and safe neighborhood for my daughter. We were renting in Englewood, NJ. Ridgewood High School provided an awesome education and wonderful school programs. Parental participation was exceptional. What we especially loved was the genuine care and consistency from the faculty. All students received a great education and there were no special or alternative sub schools that would divide levels of education. My daughter feels honored to have graduated from RHS.

RHS was, and remains, an outstanding high school. I graduated in 1957, when RHS was the most highly regarded school in Northern New Jersey. 96% of my classmates went on to college. Go Maroons!
