Richmond Flying Squirrels Review

Game was fun as always. Concessions were a train wreck. Waited in line for an hour to get food.

Love going to the game with the wife or with the kids we never have a bad time.

Game with surprisingly fun and pretty close good crowd fair prices

I love minor league baseball and the Flying Squirrels are in the SF Giants system so we had to get "Squirrel" gear

I've no comparison to judge against but I had an awesome time. Food, drink and a baseball game!!!!! Doesn't get much better.

I wasn't there 4 a game. There were Halloween festivities only.

Had a great time with some friends to watch the game, have some drinks, and the atmosphere was awesome.

Always a fun time for the family! My oldest LOVES the Squirrels and it was such a treat that the kids got to go with school last year! Love having a stadium so close to home! Reasonable prices, friendly staff, and AWESOME food ;)

Nothing like a beautiful evening at the Diamond watching our home team win 6 to 2! The chicken fingers and fries were delicious...hot and tasty! The facilities seem fine to me but this is the only sports facility I've been to. Lots of people there cheering for the Flying Squirrels! We'll be back in a few weeks when our grandchildren are here! Can't wait!

Parking is a nightmare, all the lots were full. Wait in line for 3 innings to get a hot dog. You would be better off driving to DC or Baltimore to see actual baseball. The stadium is in shambles and can't accommodate the amount of fans. Build a new one Richmond geeeezzzzz...

Family friendly environment and experience, great place to catch a ball game in Richmond if you don't want to travel up to D.C to see the Nats play.

Local sports are great. Cheap, fun, my son loves baseball!

I'm not a huge baseball fan but I've never had a bad time at a Flying Squirrels game. They do a fantastic job at making it a fun affordable outing for the family.

This is where you go to dream about catching a foul ball and buy overpriced hot dogs.

And it's cooler than football.

I enjoy the atmosphere of a minor league baseball game. While I miss watching Pirates games in my hometown of Pittsburgh, this is the next best thing!

They lost tonight but still had a blast! The fireworks were amazing!

The Squirrels know how to put on a show! The game was very enjoyable (we won!), but between-inning activities were just as much fun to watch. The announcer was very good, too. The downside, however, was the long lines for food. It took two full innings to get some munchies, which is a great indicator that there should be more locations to purchase food. It also took quite a bit of time to get out if the parking lot after the game, which we expected but is still a little frustrating. Overall, though, our $9 per ticket was well spent.

We went for Scout night. The kids had a great time. Prices were reasonable and it has as nice, family oriented atmosphere.

Good, except the usher in section 112 is overbearing in his criticism of the opposing team. Needs to know his job is to make ALL fans comfortable.

Despite aging facilities, the Flying Squirrels manage to have a fun and engaging atmosphere for a baseball game. You can get into the baseball, or enjoy the other silly things going on if your kids need extra entertainment. The food and beer options are pretty decent, but the craft beer selection and availability could be a bit better. Still a great way to spend an afternoon or evening.

Great place to watch a baseball game. Plenty of seating options. Tickets are less then ten dollars. Large parking lots have plenty of spots right next to stadium. Lots of places to eat and drink. Great views of downtown Richmond as well. Lots of weekly promotions add to the fun at the game.

The Richmond Flying Squirrels are pure fun and entertainment, along with good baseball. Going to a game is a great family outing or date night.

I have been to several games and all of them have been a lot fun. All of the evening games I have been to have had really good firework displays at end of them. Flying Squirrel's games are fun for the whole family.

Like The Diamon best when Squirrels are winners. 8 to 0 isa horrible score.

Silver Squirrels. Ten Tuesday tickets in lower level and pick your seats for $75. Great baseball at a great price.

Always have a ton of fun taking my family to see a Flying Squirrels game. Well worth going to see them!

The bathrooms are kinda nasty but other than that it's pretty good

Today was my first time attending a baseball game live. Can't began to explain my reaction walking through the gate and climbing the stairs and seeing the Diamond "in person." What an awesome experience. New fan !!

Great place to see a great game of minor league baseball. Third year in a row that we got season tickets. I guess we love baseball. Great seats, great food choices, great place for family fun.

Flying Squirrels baseball is a great time for entire family. Fun games and good entertainment I'm between innings. Plus the stadium has a lot of food and beverages options other than the standard fare. They are an asset to Richmond community.

Stadium sucks, but it sucked with the Braves as well. How about building a new one without public money?
