Revel Resort and Casino Review

VERY SIMILAR TO THE REVEL.
BUT COMPLETELY UPGRADED.

Decided to stay a night with the family on our way up to our Jersey Shore family reunion. Friendly and proactive staff from valet to security. A stunning property as soon as you pull up. Room and view were stunning. Well rounded amenities, great restaurants (the Jersey Tomato pie at Villain and Saint was fantastic) and boardwalk / beach access just steps from a world-class property. It was the new Atlantic City experience I was hoping to experience with my family . . . and the ORC didn't disappoint.

I will never stay anywhere else in AC ever again. Such a beautiful hotel. The only negative would be that the check in line was out of control, we waited almost 2 hrs

Highly recommend Ocean Resort!!! Clean and beautiful space, and the rooms are excellent. Restaurant selection is fantastic.

Good assortment of food to pick from your dinning choices. Make sure to get the Ocean card to cover the parking garage fee (free parking) with it

Great Casino had a amazing time but cleaning service should of been much better

Horrible. Asked for a high floor waited 1 hour and forty five minutes and was given the lowest floor in the building. NO VIEW. Very spiteful of the clerk. Very nasty like I was bothering her for a room Room had not been vacuumed . I had to clean the room. DIrty room.I have a high card was treated like I was an inconvenience. Shouldn't treat people that are loyal to you especially at this time with no amenities at all. Couldn't get near the pool can't smoke can't eat in restaurants can't drink can't sit anywhere. No entertainment and you treat a high card loyal customer like trash. Need to understand there are other casinos to go to that DO value their patrons. Please dont give your standard answer that everyone gets. That is insulting to give everyone the same answer shows you dont care.

Needed to get away for a couple of days and we were not disappointed at all. Corner suite on 26th floor with awesome view. Room was clean but we also did a complete disinfection ourselves and declined further room service. We put the towels out and housekeeping brought replacements and gave to us with no issues. Staff very friendly.
Lots of hand sanitizer stations throughout hotel, 4 only to the elevator but no waiting. Masks mandatory. The two nights we were there we ate at American Cut, can not say enough about the great quality food and service. Will definitely stay at hotel again with same room.

Only went to the casino, but would like to stay there next time

It's a very nice casino that was once Revel. It looks like it had some minor renovations that was done. But I wish the lighting was brighter in the casino.

This is one of the few hotels that i have stayed in while in Atlantic City. I visited here while seeing Chris Tucker live . Wear comfortable shoes because the walk to the hall was long as h@*$ in heels . I thought it was just as beautiful outside as it was inside. I must book a room to see what the views are like considering i dont go to A.C. for the gambling i go to relax

Narcissistic employees who know zero about hospitality. Intimidating security guards who look ready to pounce on you. Same disappointing food choices. They've learned nothing from the 1st failure. Feel sorry for ac and all the people with new jobs and hopes.
A real palace of arrogance and selfishness.stupid people hiring stupider people. Customer is always wrong here.

Outstanding casino. One of the best on the strip. Great restaurants inside.

are my favorite plus a lot of the blackjack tables are $10.00 for most of the day wich is great ,you could play for a long time. Its a great casino I recommend it. Can't wait to go back

Observation deck is dope. Casino is quiet and dimly lit.

The room was quite nice, clean and very well kept. There were no microwaves in any of the rooms, but I'm not sure whether or not that was a COVID-19 measure. I took one star away for this. The layout of the property is confusing. In the parking garage, you park on level 11 for access to the hotel, but this is the 1st floor of the hotel. The view we had was wonderful. I'm not a gambler, and I was here with a group of friends, so I'm not sure if I'll ever come back. Besides the hotel casino, there wasn't much to do in the area besides go to the beach.

My first AC casino. Best part is the Willy Hill Sports-book Bar area.

Ribs, burger, and peel and eat shrimp were great. Slaw and frips, so so. Did outdoor dining at Sky Grill was kinda like a typhoon, but nice view of ocean.

Quick stay but looking forward to a longer stay next time. Will definitely recommend!

You would never know it was the other casino. Everything about this place is first class. Really enjoyed Top Golf. Great addition. All the bars & restaurants have awesome service. Just a cool place to visit.

Hotel was beautiful and very clean with friendly hotel staff. Some issues were the food was very limited for both take out, room service, and pool also watered down drinks. I understand COVID but the food also was very bad and now you should be taking care of the people that actually visit your hotels by providing good tasting food and drinks. They only value black and chairman card holders I have a platinum and there was no point at all in even having it and that was made very clear at the front desk as well as when they were taking the $ out the slots. I got kicked out a machine I was playing on for a few hours so they could change the cartridge wasn't too happy about that. The Cabana at Posiedon was very nice but don't go anywhere hungry because again limited menu. All in all I usually stay at Borgota and have never stayed at Ocean. I had a nice view on the 47th floor and I'll give them another chance but nothing to brag home about

Booked this place on 5/29 for a 6/23-6/25 stay and I thought the HOTEL part would be open. Thought it would be a nice mid week treat for our family to get away. I got a confirmation email and then an email a day later to choose a late checkout on 6/25.

Today, we worked a long day, packed up our two sons for much needed family time just to spend on the beach. Drove over two hours!

Yep, CLOSED. Came from Pennsylvania so I don t get local news. Website said only two
of the four pools were closed. Thought they didn t have that many guests. Checked website again AFTER kind worker told
me they were closed...new order posted to open for July 2nd.

How dare they make a reservation, shoot a followup email about choosing an add on service and then NEVER CALL to say they aren t going to open after all. Guess they guessed wrong what the governor was going to let them do. Guess they thought it was okay to let me assume plans didn t change.

Guess they thought it was a nice 4 hour drive with my two kids who have lost something else during this pandemic.

The place was beautiful and I will go back but I have to say that we stayed there right when owner had lost his life and the upper management were obsolete,we had problem with a key and getting into our room and almost 2hours later we entered,as well as security guards it seemed that the only guard that could let us in was on break and he had his radio silenced, and there was no upper management,none,if there was they surely would have been able to step in...

When you book they don t let you know that the pool is not fully in service

Had lunch and dinner there Wednesday day of air show. Parking was free. Meals were good. This casino/ resort is worth checking out as it is starting to get it's act together after opening earlier this year.

Totally modern casino/hotel with an upbeat vibe and beautiful decor. A fresh face among all the dated casinos that line the boardwalk in AC.

It's fancy, has many places to walk and stay and a beautiful sight in the 4th floor.

So clean and stuff were all kind, We like atmosphere ,

Very nice, open and fresh feeling. The room had a great view and it was very comfortable.

Always treated as a valued, respected customer. Need more higher demonination video poker machines out on the floor.

Had great food at the buffet and I won a little money

New and improved! Definetly will be back again for memorable moments that last a lifetime!

Excellent hotel, excellent service amidst the pandemic and excellent location. I'm thinking about having my wedding vow renewal here, so I'll definitively come back

I arrived on a weds night, the place was quiet. When I got to my room, there were used glasses in my room from the previous guests. There were some other things left behind by the previous guests as well. This was really the only negative thing about the trip. Cant speak about weekends but this is definitely a low key, chill kind of place. We walked to hard rock and was much more lively. Overall the place was nice and modern and the staff was nice. The pool was awesome!

Love, love, love this hotel! The rooms have BEAUTIFUL views! No one could believe that I was in NJ when they saw the pics! The rooms are elegant and beautifully decorated. I could stay in that shower alllll day.

Michael at the front desk was very nice and offered good restaurant suggestions. Moshin at the gift shop was very helpful in helping me get the contact lens supplies that I forgot. The security guards named Michael and LaTroy were very helpful in the late hours with directions. Bernadette L. was INCREDIBLY helpful on the phone. She even called the gift shop for me to be sure they had contact lens supplies before I ventured downstairs. I will say I think it's VERY unsafe that they have both her first AND last name come up on the phone when you call!! Wth?! In 2018?! That's just putting someone in WAY TOO MUCH unnecessary danger! So to the property manager I would ask, "Would you want your Mom or Dad's full name on the phone? Or your child's name? No, the first name is more than enough. Take care of your team and they will take care of you. Your team definitely shows they have your back. Now make sure you have theirs."

But other than that gaffe I have nothing to say but EXCELLENT HOTEL with good food and INCREDIBLE variety of food to choose from. We were there to see The Struts at Ovations Hall and they were AMAZING! I hope that all bands don't start playing down there since it quite a treck but if they do and I go I will definitely stay at this hotel. I just wish Ocean Resort Hotel would match prices that I find online. I would rather give a company that works hard to please their guests the money instead of a website. That being said it was still a great experience. :)

This is my favorite hotel the food , the way it looks the rooms are amazing the top golf suite the ammentities , they have outdoor fire pits and bars outdoor , everything about here is amazing keep it up ocean, I also would love to see them keep adding more stuff , I have gone to Atlantic city my entire life as well my family before me and I love that they made this hotel to bring Atlantic city back to life , I go at least 2 times a month in the summer and in the winter I go at least a few times.

Quick check in. Room was very clean and housekeeping was very professional and did a great job. The only problem was that I was double charged 151.00 plus the original amount of 187.00 which was to cover hotel fees of 87.00 and 100 00 for additional charges charged to my room. It took many calls over three days to straighten this problem. Kerry from accounting was a great help in resolving this problem. One item of 27.00 which is hotel fees and taxes was not credited back to American Express. The reason why is I was supposed to stay three nights which were comped but I only stayed two I checked out at about 11am and iwas told I would not have to pay for the third day. I would like to continue to stay at ocean casino and resort but if this is going to be an ongoing problem I will have to go to Caesars where I use to gamble. Thanks in advance for your help

Nothing special compared to the other casinos. It's new so all the slot machines are newer. Big floor with lots of machines and tables. They are doing social distancing well with partitions between seats at table games and every other slot powered off so you're forced to sit apart from other people. Free self-parking if you join their rewards program. Right on the boardwalk so you can walk around that later. Gave only 4 stars because I'm wondering if they're tightening up the slots due to lower business flow due to Covid. So they don't let you win much on slots. Stick to table games because they can't mess with the odds there.

Casino is nice, food was terrible at the restaurant villian and saint.

This resort is beautiful. My room had a beautiful view of the ocean steel pier and the Atlantic city skyline. This is my Atlantic city hotel.

Perfect location. Value for money. Clean room. Great view.

Casino was nice. Villians and saints had good food but there was a live band and it was way too loud.

Scary how awesome this place is. There is a pool you can swim outside during the winter.

Beautiful casino. I just hope it brings in the masses as it is very quiet now...which is great to get to any game you want.

Sucked....pay out are low. Staff was rude. Won't go back
