Resthaven is a wonderful company. I have worked here for 19 years and have not ever regretted that decision. All of our employees from our awesome facility workers to the Corporate Office care about our residents and strive to do what is best for them. I would recommend Resthaven to anyone.

I just started at Resthaven a few months ago, but already I would say this seems to be a good place to work. Many staff members have told me this is the best place they have ever worked. The Staff and administration really care about the work that is done here. Providing excellent care is top priority. There is good support from administration to staff and the CEO has been do an excellent job in keeping staff informed about our status changes during the current pandemic.
Resthaven has been a wonderful place to work. Where your voice is heard and listened to. A place that is full of wonderful people and ideas.
I've worked with Resthaven's leadership team, and they are truly wonderful. They care deeply about the company's mission, and they continually offer the best services to seniors and their families. Resthaven does great work!
From the moment I arrived at Rest Haven things were done breaking the law of nursing homes in Michigan. This continued for 15 months and I moved from the facility. The time has come for them to reap what they have sown and it s going to cost them dearly. Rest Haven was a good Christian nursing home but not anymore! My own grandmother worked as a cook there for many years back in the 60 s!
Resthaven use to be a 5 star facility, from CEO down. Now that a new CEO has come in, she is young and money hungry. Working here was one of my greatest jobs, up until she took over. She walked people out days before Christmas, after these employees had been there for 20+ years. No explanation, walked them out like they had done something wrong. That started the collapse of an incredible company. Workers, residents, family members became nervous, rightfully so. All the good employees started applying elsewhere, so under staffing began, and then the morale plummeted. The nursing scheduler in the care center lacks professionalism and has favorites, will cause shortage in areas to appease her favorites. She also thinks she is in control and knows everything, but since she has never worked the floor, she lacks the knowledge of what being short and understaffed feels like. I give mad props to the DON and Administrator who were thrown into their positions and have handled it with professionalism and poise. I hope this company realizes its true mission and relapses from this awful collapse.
I started working for Resthaven in February 2001 and to my surprise it has been a rewarding experience. Since then, I've gotten 2 college degrees and years of support and growth. I enjoy the relationship with my co-workers and love serving the residents in our community. Everyone is so compassionate about what they do. Resthaven is where I call home.
Resthaven remains one of those places where senior care is about the resident. If you are looking for a place where you will receive excellent care in Holland, Resthaven is the answer. As an employee, I have seen my coworkers go the extra mile to put the residents' needs first.
