Restaurant Muller Review

decided on a random Tuesday evening for a "fashion show" #fail

We wanted to have lunch with friends. Operation was far below par. Twice indicated that we wanted to order, twice ignored. In addition, no Valhalla for vegetarians and vegans (no choice on the menu at all). But it didn't come to lunch. We have settled the drinks and left.

Nice tent to visit. I was there around 3 PM. Was fairly busy, but still had enough seats to choose.
Cappuccino and mint tea taken. Normal price. Although the Capuccino cup could have been a bit bigger. They were generous with the tea. Seemed like a half-liter cup. For the rest it is nice there and for the gentlemen .... very handsome waitresses!

Cozy & good food, at least lunch & before the drinks. I can not judge dinner (yet). Good wines & staff know what they give. On the last visit for a wine with nachos as a snack, only that snack order was slipped in between, so that was a bit of a wait.

We came here for the first time and what immediately struck me was the very dingy entrance ... dirty bare coconut mat and dirty windows. I guess that's the first impression, right? Anyway service very friendly so we ordered small lunch which was not particularly cappucino limp Then it turned out that on the benches where we sat there were all kinds of crumbs between the seams. Such a wonderful thing too bad please do something with this!

Nice location for Christmas with good food only the music was disappointing, there is also a sign with text against the wall that next time on such an evening can stand out better. I am very entertained and the staff were also very polite and helpful

After a nice walk today, we feel like drinking coffee here at half past ten.
Once we had a place there was a Polish gentleman, already drunk calling in the case. So hard that the other customers were bothered by this, after another customer and I had informed the staff that we were inconvenienced by this, the shoulders were raised and laughed. I don't know if he speaks Dutch and that they speak it. didn't do anything about it. When we then indicated that we would just leave, people laughed and said that we should do that.
Today a few things have become clear to me about this matter.
Staff who are not capable of their work.
Money is more important as customer friendliness.
And if some of this is being sacked, you will also be laughed at.

Had Christmas dinner there at 6 pm it would start at 8:45 pm we got a cup of tomato soup at 9:45 pm we could go to the running buffet that was nothing cold cold potato balls salads ready made 2nd choice salmon slices the only thing was tasty were the prime rib slices. Dessert ice cream from baking aerosol whipped cream puffs and some small pastries and hard melon with raw ham. And this poor Christmas dinner cost 70.00 p.p.

In kingday I went to the Muller & Co and there was a concert with a group. They song very well and the environment was splendid. That was really amazing.

Give a good glass of wine and when the weather is nice, you can relax on the terrace

Brasserie and Wijnbar Muller & Co is located in the middle of the old village center of Berkel en Rodenrijs. Owner is Rober Willemsen, who also has "Melief Bender" and tasting room "de Pui" under his wing.
In his time as director of Heineken, Rober has gained a lot of experience, which means he knows like no other how to set up a large store like Muller & Co attractively and at the same time intimately.

Behind the restaurant is an outdoor garden with its own outdoor bar and kitchen. Lounge benches, fireplaces & atmospheric light determine the unique atmosphere. On sunny days, this outdoor garden is an absolute stopping place in Berkel. There are also regular casual live concerts of bands like "Shaky Ground".

The menu at Muller & Co is well-organized and typical brasserie. The pricing is friendly in accordance with the provided quality menus. The interior contains a reading table, fireplace with lazy seating & a sturdy bar with open kitchen. Deeper in the case is the restaurant part with intimate tables, where the light dampens as the evening progresses.

All in all, you can say that Muller & Co is an asset to Berkel and its surroundings because of its wonderful, atmospheric ambience. With free parking, a friendly personal service & wheelchair-friendly entrance (s) more than worthwhile to have lunch with family, friends and / or colleagues, a high tea or a dinner.
