I really like this restaurant. It's french and the food looks authentic. Tried the escargot, really enjoied. Very good quality.

Lovely brunch. Food was full of flavour and loads of options. We went for crab cakes and Pot De Mer both delish

Went for dinner on a Friday - nothing to complain about the food, it totally hit the bar! But the restaurant was quite noisy, and service could be a bit faster!maybe try some other day more quiet?

I don't understand anyone giving this place a bad review. This is as good as it gets for me. The food is excellent. Full of flavour. Chicken liver pate is the best I've ever had. Steak is incredible flavour. Desserts are equally excellent. Atmosphere is nice, nothing pretentious. It's my favourite restaurant in Dublin.

Keep going back here. Without a doubt my favourite place in Dublin

Enjoy the great food and restaurant service but leave straight after as the staff change over to a bar results in bitter tast when you experience the dodgy security staff !!!!

First time to visit this long - established place. Had a great Father's Day Brunch with our daughter. How have I not discovered this great spot till now? Will surely return. The French Onion Soup is deservedly renowned. There was a great range of dishes on offer... Two of our company had Eggs Benedict... pronounced delicious. I enjoyed a quite delightful Blackened Salmon with a lovely take on Potato Salad. Top notch

Onion soup is absolutely worth trying. Explosions of aromas and taste, perfectly cooked with a grilled brioche on top. A delight!

Consistently one of the best restaurants in Dublin. I've been visiting l'Gueuleton for nearly 15 years and have never been disappointed. Always a new menu and I miss my old favorites but there's always something exciting that turns into a new favorite.

I have only been for lunch which is quite nice. I have had steak sandwich which was nice and Ihad an amazing tomato and basil soup. Service is nice and quick perfect for the hour lunchtime. The restaurant tends to be quite cold though so hang on to your coat!

Best restaurant we've eaten at in Dublin so far! The staff was so friendly and made it work for us even though we didn't have a reservation and they were extremely busy! Amazing steak and sauces!

Steaks have gotten smaller with a wee bit of bearnaise, music quite loud too... Pity

I had a great dinner here. My steak was cooked perfectly, well seasoned and my gf sea bass and prawns was delicious also. Fish had crispy skin, and the sauce was delicious.
Wait staff were lovely, as we had a few drinks and enjoyed ourselves under the heater.
Truffle fries are the bomb.

A little escape to the country of haute cuisine in this bistro is best done as a couple and late in the evening, accompanied by a bottle of wine from their good menu. The food was really good, although a tad pricey.

I've only had a glass of wine here recently but is always busy and has a great buzz. Fade street is also my favourite street in Dublin. It feels like Paris.

Slight overpriced on selecyed dishes but the quality remains above average. Would recommend for people looking for a nice restaurant with good food!

Came here for the first time in 2013 and since then it's been our favourite place in Dublin. Have brought all our friends here and everyone has enjoyed it. Especially love their rabbit on winter-spring menu.

We went for Sunday brunch and it was OK. The potato hash and sausage was good although the potatoes were bland. The eggs benedict was tasty. The service was very poor - our waiter was unfriendly and snappy to us and to the other diners nearby. Everything seemed like a hassle. We probably won't return as a result.

Not cheap, so you expect quality.
Duck, vegetables, sauce and wine were perfect, however half of the acompanying potato square was not cooked and not edible. When I mentioned this to the waitress it was pretty much ignored.

Definitely NOT coming back here.

Booked this for a Saturday brunch. Which apparently was definitely not needed. There were plenty of empty tables. I had the eggs benedict with extra sausages. Which apparently is just one sausage! Would definitely say its a bit overpriced for what you get. Unfortunately my friend doesn't eat pork so his choices from the menu were limited. He ordered something with eggs and asparagus, which he said was just ok. Nothing special. Would say the food and service were average. Of course when it's time to pay, the waiter is never near.

Good for a causal pint but one of the barmen was obnoxiously rude to me and some friends!

Gorgeous night in L'Gueuleton... amazing food and wonderful service. Week before Christmas, full of large tables. Myself and a friend ate at the bar. We were really well looked after by two lovely guys behind the bar. Great service on one of the busiest nights of the year...would highly recommend a visit

Nice place to have some food or brunch on the weekend. There's seating upstairs in the backyard - check it out!

Great place! Been here twise! Friendly staff, exellent food, cozy atmosphere! Music lil loud for my taste, but bareable. The terrace is really nice! Cocktails 12 ... lost one star. But would recommend!

The restaurant itself is not bad but at night time avoid. The bar staff are extremely rude - all 4 of my friends had been served (I was standing with them at the bar) and the bar people continued to serve 8 different people who came after us and left me waiting. One bar guy who looks like he looks at himself in the mirror all the time (who started the problem) told blonde man bun guy not to serve me...and they told the female bar girl. The door person felt so sorry at how they treated me that he offered to help me get a drink. At that stage myself and friends left and used our money elsewhere

Great lunch menu, staff are always great and the measures of wine are pretty decent. Has a great smoking and sitting area out the front which is good for people watching.

I've been here as they serve breakfast in the name of Kelly's hotel, they serve continental breakfast: cereals, bread, pastries, yogurts, fruit salad, tea, chocolate, coffee and good selection of juices. Simple but efficient.
They have also slice of cheese and non industrial ham.
Lightning is limited.

Amazing food, good drinks, fun informative staff, lovely atmosphere

Just had a really disappointing lunch in here. The food was good but the service was utterly dreadful! The staff were so disinterested and unresponsive. Every interaction involved a long wait trying to get attention while they all stood up at the bar avoiding eye contact. One waiter was actually rude. The place wasn't even busy. And the toilets are utterly gross at this stage, they need to be completely remodelled. Very poor experience.

Fantastic wine and such friendly service! They were very busy when we went but the staff apologised for being slightly slow. Slightly limited choice for veggies but the ones that are available are lovely. Have enjoyed everytime I've dined here, but do book to avoid disappointment.

I choose it from the Michelin Guide which I use really often, but I wasn't fully happy with the dinner. My risotto was definitely overcooked. The restaurant is far too loud and in general the cousine is really heavy.

Great staff... food and drinks too... very accommodating and our group had a great time!

The food is terrible, the service is not very fast. The paella is almost a crime...

Disclaimer: This is a restaurant with a bar. We went there only to have a pint of Guinness and a bite to eat. I ordered something from the brunch menu (poached eggs and mushrooms on sourdough bread) and the food was exceptionally fresh and tasty. Also the pints of Guinness were poured beautifully. Can't judge for the dinner menu, which is probably what most people come here for. But our purpose was served to full satisfaction.

Loved our brunch here today. Atmospheric, good food, good service.

They server truffle fries, they have taliskier. Outdoor seating and staff with a sense of humour. Will go again.

Had a team lunch here during off peak time. There were about 20 of us. Very friendly staff. Efficient service. Absolutely delicious food. Would highly recommend the croque monsieur with fries or pesto gnocchi as main. They give you such big portions.....you will be very satisfied or in other words stuffed after a starter + main!

Went over there for brunch, food is overall nice. Not really a great selection of meal for vegans! If you're drinking coffee they have only full fat milk. One of the waiters was really fussy and not really welcoming but overall if you're looking for a nice brunch spot with an outdoor terrace this place is not a bad choice

Food was fine but not amazing. Staff weren't particularly helpful or friendly, was quite off putting. Booked in advance and we were seated beside a draft.

Always a fan of l'G I wish i could eat here all the time but it would probably give me a heart attack. Pork belly is delish, parfait is amazing, steak with cafe de paris sauce is making my mouth water just thinking about it. Great wine list and a nice little outside nook at the back which I love.

Great atmosphere on a Saturday night. Food is decent but certain on the fancy end pricewise.

Shared a steak night special.. wine and food excellent. Plate of the day always super. We have eaten here many times and our family have always enjoyed the atmosphere, equally important is the food and wine, which are always amazing. Super location with external heated seating. Enjoy, highly recommend, however tables of 5 or more are subject to 12.5% service charge which is very disappointing.

The best piece of lamb that I have ever eaten. Absolutely beautiful. Great staff and great service. Beer choice was not in line with my tastes, otherwise it would get 5 stars.

Place is nice and cozy with a soft music in the background, quite good to go with a friend/partner for a chat while eating. Food is good but not exceptional, burger was average and cheesecake in the glass wasn't anything remarkable. I wouldn't feel like not recommending it, but not the opposite either.

Love the bar here. Service is always good. Music is not too loud. Great spot for drink night out.
