A small-scale hotel with a beautiful terrace, beautifully situated with ample parking spaces in the middle of the woods on the road from Drachten to Beetsterzwaag. Something for everyone for walking, cycling, mountain biking.
A historical landmark where generations has been a catering company. But always made up-to-date, while preserving the historical values. Great for a coffee, lunch or dinner. Vegetarian is also possible, although it could be put on the menu more prominently! Beautiful area for wonderful walks.
Despite corona it was fun, but we had to make do with breakfast.

The White House is a neat place for lunch and dinner.
We drove past it and stopped spontaneously. A spacious parking lot with various places with shade for the car was immediately pleasant.
Also on the terrace, because the weather was nice, there was enough space and a choice of sun or shade tables.
On the menu nice and varied dishes, both small and large. The price / quality ratio was very good and the friendly service can also be there.

Had lunch here today. Were helped after sitting on the terrace for a while. We both opted for midday. Turned out to have been a good choice. Soup of your choice, corn bread with croquette, bread with carpaccio and salad. I chose the Tom Khai Kai. All in all sufficient in terms of portion and it tasted good to us. Friendly service, beautiful surroundings. I would also like to go here with my husband.

Lovely place to walk and then, thanks to the corona, to get a take away. The cappuccino and blueberry muffin is delicious. And decent prices. You can even go to the toilet for a while. First place this year where I come across that. I can't wait to be back in the restaurant.
